I saw an event like this a while back and badly wanted to join in the cause, by the time I git there it had all ended so here I am. I'll lay it all out there.

The first annual “Blogging for Blood Cancer” event will take place from August 11-18, 2008. This first time event will bring bloggers from across the United States together to raise awareness for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and its mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

My story: It's unlike the rest, I wish them all the best and everyone who has ever had to deal with any health condition. Keep on keeping on, you are so, so strong. You have all of my thoughts, love, prayers anything!

Years ago my Great Great Grandmother died from Breast cancer. I can't tell you how much this woman ment to my family, she was that glue. The glue that let us all know we were still normal. Who made me feel ok about my "ugly" freckles, always telling me they were special kisses. In 2003 she passed away I will no longer get to her her stories of her lamb, or about my special kisses. But everyday she is here in our hearts! Our family has moved on but has never been the same. (didn't I mention she was the glue?)

Or last week me finding out my biological mother has Breast Cancer as well.

That's my story not very impressive but it's mine. I am blogging in support of these women, for the Great Grandmother who was my glue, to the mother I wish I had known..

The Perfect Ride

Cars…if you know me and you know the man of those house (or as I call him my dude man) then you know how much he is in to cars. I know moms might not be interested in turbo chargers for their cars but dads sure are. The only reason I care about them is because I constantly have to hear about turbochargerpros.com. A site in which he thinks is awesome. You can get anything for a turbo on the site. We own a Honda although recently he has been looking at some VW models. Even more the Volkswagen turbocharger is on his mind. So we need a new car yes…well we want a new car. Do I let him turbo charge it to get what I want?

Many years ago our family took a trip to San Francisco it was one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. We visited the famous Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman’s Warf. I think my favorite place was Lombard Street, and China Town. Lombard Street is that curvy street you see in all the movies, our family took pride in fighting traffic in the area to drive down it. It's Time For A New Breakfast

Our family loves bagels, why not take a bagel on the go? Oh wait that would be too messy. But not with Bagel-fuls they have everything all rolled up. This past weekend while at our engagement dinner we also spent a few days so Del could put the AC back in our Honda. Step Up 2 : The Streets was a cute movie. I was suprised that a teenage movie would actually be something I might enjoy. Although the dance moves left me a bit confused, looking more like people wiggling around then dancing. But this movie was cute I loved the actual story line.

It's a New Kind Of Fun

As you can see yes that is a ring. Nothing says lovin' like an engagement ring. It all happened today, although he actually asked me to marry him with tears in his eyes before Kai was even here with us. (ok in person she was here) But finally on this day it was made final. Once again I received those words, "I love you" you know the ones. And of course I took the ring with pride and love in my heart. So next step is planning a wedding. Who wants to help? I am officially engaged and I no longer have a boyfriend. He is officially my fiance and I am his for always.
