Pruitt glanced back at the crowd in horror and bewilderment before clanking his free throws.

It turns out that a couple of mischeivous little bastards from the Cal student section had been IM'ing with Pruitt all week under the identity of "Victoria," a fictional UCLA hottie, and Pruitt was eagerly anticipating a date with this nubile co-ed back in Westwood after the game. In preparation for the date, Pruitt had handed over his digits, which the Cal student section recited back to him in unison.

Pruitt, a 79% free throw shooter this season, missed both shots after the "VIC-TOR-IA" chants began, and hit only three out of 13 shots the whole game. Cal beat USC by 11 for the season sweep, in part due to the Cal fans' devious psy-ops.

Valarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02872207832278372218noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6850767.post-1128946960258697142005-10-10T08:14:00.000-04:002005-10-10T08:22:40.886-04:00DAWGS WIN!Well the Dawgs did it. What a fantastic game played by UGA. Georgia totally dominated Tennesse on Saturday. Our defense basically served up a shut out. The 2 touchdowns were not really the Defense's fault. The first one coming on an interception that was returned to the 1 inch line, the other was not even a touchdown. Replay shows that the receiver was obviously down on the 1 yard line but was given a touchdown by the official. If they would have reviewed the play, which they couldn't because it didn't have a direct impact on the outome of the game, they would have seen that he was down way before he crossed the goalline. Georgia now sits atop the SEC East with a clear path to the dome. Vandy is next on the schedule, they are always a pain in the dawgs backside. They always seem to play us tough in Nashville. The last time we were there was in 2003. We did not start playing until the 2nd half. This will not be an easy game for UGA.....This article makes me think that Coach Mark Richt's head may be a little to high if he is thinking about this. "We would be fired up," Richt said. "I'd be fired up if we were undefeated at the end of the year [and not in the title game], but that is too far down the road." He doesn;t need to worry about that...just take care of Vandy. Go Dawgs!

Valarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02872207832278372218noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6850767.post-1128695502589916542005-10-07T10:26:00.000-04:002005-10-07T10:31:42.596-04:00UGA vs TENNWell here we are again...Another Georgia Tennessee game with huge implications on the SEC East and National Championship picture. This game always proves to be a great college football atmosphere and normally a close nailbiter type game. This year Georgia is the underdog dispite them being rank ahead of Tennessee in the polls. DJ Shockley has been to Knoxville before and has seen what the fans are like. I am not sure if I am as confident with Shockley back there as I was with Greene...He still has not proved much yet. Georgia has been very vanilla this year, not showing much excitement. The running game is good, the defense is good, but the overall preformace on Saturdays has been just enough to win. I think Georgia can pull this off because our Defense can handle the run and put pressure on Claussen. Georgia wins by 3.

Valarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02872207832278372218noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6850767.post-1128002295779412882005-09-29T09:57:00.000-04:002005-09-29T09:58:15.783-04:00Poor Puppy6 month old puppy swallows 13-inch knife! The did manage to come away with the Win thouhg, and any win over Spurrier is a good win in my book. Many people know that I like to gamble and have gottenmyself into trouble in the past. After last years debacle with gambling I decided to call it quits with gambling for money. Of course I have done very well with my predictions now that my own money isn't on the line. I am leading one pick'em poll on Carr's site and am in 2nd on poppy's poll. Go figure. Its is pretty small, about 400 sq ft...but it makes up for it in quality. This is a perfect room for someone wanting to live by themselves, a law student who doesn't need distractions, or a graduate student. We will close on the condo by the end of the month. It will be ready to rent out after that. Anyone need a 1 bed 1 bath studio apt in Athens, Georgia or know someone who is looking, let me know!

Valarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02872207832278372218noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6850767.post-1120757576395689602005-07-07T12:16:00.000-04:002005-07-07T13:32:56.453-04:00sin agua sin comidaI went to Sams and bought a case of Propel Fitness water. It was about $10 for 24. Not bad really. We continued our training for the half marathon last night. We ran 3 miles in 30 minutes. I hope to improve on that. We will run 4 miles tomorrow and 6 miles on Saturday. I could realy use a diet coke right now...I am in serious withdrawl.

Valarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02872207832278372218noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6850767.post-1120575177853989912005-07-05T10:49:00.000-04:002005-07-05T10:53:04.553-04:00Water ContinuesIt has been a couple of days now since I started replacing all my drinks with water. I had some pretty severe headaches on Sunday. I popped a few advil and that seemed to take care of it. I really don't feel that much different yet. I do feel tired a lot though. Michelle and I ran the peachtree road race in Atlanta. I was hydrated very well. I didn't get any cramps. The challenge continues...more to come.

Valarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02872207832278372218noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6850767.post-1120344481684325182005-07-02T18:42:00.000-04:002005-07-02T18:51:25.986-04:00Wave goodbye to Diet Coke for a full month!Today is the first day of the July Challenge. What is the July Challenge you ask? Well that is the challenge that no liquid other than water will enter my system for the period of 1 month! Eric, Linz and maybe Andy have all decided to go through this together. Sort of like a support team. We mutualy agreed that we could drink water, propel fitness water, and water with lime/lemon. The challenge was brought to the council while attending a wedding shower for our buddy Mikey. If we all complete the challenge with no cheating we will have a lavish reward. Hookers for the boys, shopping for the ladies! I will post the progress. I just got back from seeing Mr. & Mrs. Smith I had popcorn and a dasani, pretty strange not having a diet coke while at the movies. Wish us luck. I will try and post a daily log of how I feel. "In case I don't see you, good morning, good evening, and good night." (bonus points to the person that can name the movie)

Valarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02872207832278372218noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6850767.post-1118882574990086142005-06-15T20:40:00.000-04:002005-06-15T20:42:54.990-04:00Our new PatioMichelle and I are having a flagstone patio installed in our backyard. I didnt have any pest spray so I went up to home depot and bought some ant killer, traps, and some kind of any bed killer. I came back home and tried to discover the orgin of where the ants where coming from. It appeared to me they were coming from under the deck. So I went down the stairs and anround the deck when I came face to face with this nasty Black Widow. Biggest one I have ever seen.

Valarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02872207832278372218noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6850767.post-1118688990918286872005-06-13T14:53:00.000-04:002005-06-13T14:56:30.923-04:00We got bunniesSo I was out cutting the grass yesterday when I came along a spot of grass that was moving. This appeared quite odd to me, so I grabbed a stick and decided to investigate. I was a little nervous that this could end up being a snake of some sort since my neighbor had warned me of one he saw the day before. I proceeded cautiously. I lifted up the patch of grass/hair that was moving. To my surpries, 3 little bunnies were all cuddled up. They were not much longer than 3 inches. They must have been born in the last few days. They came about 1 foot from being scalped by the mower. I will take some pics of them and post later on.

Valarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02872207832278372218noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6850767.post-1116433468381191442005-05-18T12:23:00.000-04:002005-05-18T12:24:28.386-04:00Puppy CamPupppy cam is LIVE! Mainly, Michelle has quit her job at Agee Fisher to get a job at KPMG. The final straw the broke the camels back was this past Friday. We were going out with her firm for their after tax season employee dinner. All employees and their significant others were invited. We met at 5 Seasons Brewing off Roswell road in The Prado shopping center. This is just past 400 on 285. Michelle's firm has a Limo, so they had gotten that for us for the night. We all met at the 5 seasons brewing for drinks because some of the employees couldn't go out for dinner. We had about 5 pitchers of beer while we were there. During the time we were there, Michelle's boss mentioned that we were all on our own for the rest of the night. This puzzled us since we were supposed to be treated to dinner. We just shrugged it off and told ourselves that he would pay later on anyway. So we all left 5 seasons brewing in the limo and headed for The highlands. He boss had graciously gotten me a bottle of Crown Royal which I tapped into as soon as I hit the seat in the limo. By the time we got to The Highlands, we were all pretty sloshed. We got out and headed into Neighbors...looked around and finally settled at Hand & Hand, which is next to Neighbors. Less crowded and better food. Think "The Globe" in Athens. We were all looking around and noticed that Michelle's boss was no where to be found. It turns out that he and his girlfriend ditched us and took the limo back to Dunwoody. We had dinner and drinks which totaled about $200 for 6 people. Not that bad really. One of Michelle's coworkers paid for it and said he was going to expense it. We get up to leave and realize that we are going to have to call a cab. Now for Michelle and I a cab to Tucker isn't that bad...It cost us $27 with tip. The others were going back to Roswell, which cost around $60. Ouch...This was just one of many events leading up to Michelle quitting. So for the next 2 weeks I have to listen to Michelle 2nd guess herself on if she made the right decision. I know she will be happy once she starts the new job...Its just getting out of the old one that is the problem. That's basically the news in our lives right now....I will give some updates as things progress.

Valarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02872207832278372218noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6850767.post-1114487282458359292005-04-25T23:46:00.000-04:002005-04-25T23:48:02.460-04:00Serves her righthttp://msn.foxsports.com/nhl/story/3569004

Valarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02872207832278372218noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6850767.post-1113876024398052982005-04-18T21:54:00.000-04:002005-04-18T22:01:16.033-04:00E-mail my wife received from a soldierThis is a letter that my wife Michelle received from a US Soldier via E-mail. His name is Jeremiah Hamilton and apparently his wife's name is Michelle. Pretty funny. He sent 2 of them to her. I posted both letters and her response...Anyone think I should get suspicious?

Hamilton Cpl Jeremiah K to michellehamilt.
More options Apr 17 (1 day ago)

Hey good lookin,

I am really glad you stayed up late and wrote me. I was wondering when you are going to colorado. I think you said sometime in the middle of may but i am not sure. I had a long day today so I can't promise a long letter. We washed a jet, Inspected all of them, put a wing back on, and pulled off a flap. Now I have to go watch the flights take off in case something is wrong with a jet. I didn't get to church today either. It is going to be hard because there is so much work to do and there is only three guys on day crew. By the way I switched to day crew three days ago. Right now it is about five in the evening, it should be around noon your time. So far from you yet so close in heart. Michelle please don't forget to send that stuff, I could get wrote up and charged if I don't get them in a certain amnt of time. I know I am being aggrivating but the mail works weird out here. I am glad you are spending the money on bills. Pay that junk off before I get home and I will buy you something nice. NOOOO cats though. I really wish you would just keep that pussy at the barn. I do not want you moving over there if Ed is being weird. Just use your best judgement. Don't forget to tell people my new mail, and don't forget to tell me how my dad is doing and what is up with the wreck. Well gotta go fly. I love you more than you could ever dream about loving me. I will see you in my dreams, naked!

Ps. ( correct) thats my girl!

hey shelly,
are you serious about me not writiing you enough? You need to understand that there is one computer in the shop for about fifteen guys to use. They all have wives and girlfriends to. You are the only one I have time to write most of the time. I don't mean to keep you in the dark. I am always thinking about you and only you. Now I feel like I am not being there for you the way I need to be. I will try to write more, but what I write is what is going on and there really is not anything else I can do. I love the heck out of you and this breaks my heart. Yes, i have a heart too. I hope you will tell me what else I can do to keep you happy. That is my main goal in life by the way. I can not wait to see you again and hold you in my arms. That way I will not have to use any words. My hands can do the talking. Not in a wrong way, all pure. Well Staff sergeant needs to use the computer to do some work. I love you please write me back. jeremiah

Dear Cpl Hamilton

I think there is a mistake in your email address. I am Michelle
Hamilton but I am not your wife. Please double check the email
address. I will be happy to forward these messages to your wife if
need be.

Michelle

Valarioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02872207832278372218noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6850767.post-1113185696596065242005-04-10T22:10:00.000-04:002005-04-10T22:14:56.600-04:00Uncle RichardMy sister had her baby last week. People showed up around 7:00. The girls went to Decatur to hit some of the local bars while the guys stayed at my place to throw some chips around. I started off very slow, losing over half of my chips before the girls even left the building. I built back up to just above even. After many more beers and one heckuva crown and ginger, I lost it all. I should learn from this to not drink so much while playing poker. We had a huge game, 10 people total.
