I also wondered why they did not run the ball on that last series they had plenty of time and could have kept the defense off balance.BPhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00669773028577114329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6819332851593262265.post-71237883824563228682008-11-18T10:05:00.000-05:002008-11-18T10:05:00.000-05:00My problem with the Cleveland Browns fans is their...My problem with the Cleveland Browns fans is their constant favoritism. It's fine if you have an allegience to a certain player, but don't make excuses for any of them.

Example: My brother despises the defense as much as we all do. But he has a thing for D'Qwell Jackson (not sexual). He points out that he consistantly leads the team in tackles and is always around the ball, but if people watch him closely, he whiffs on almost every tacle, and ends up getting the tackle about ten yards down field.

Pro Bowlers: Shaun Rogers, Josh Cribbs, and last and certainly not least, Phil Dawson.

Brady looked good, though his numbers lie. It makes him appear to have Derek Anderson numbers. He had a better than average game, but his haters will continue to pound him.Tony Mazurhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05396362866908545368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6819332851593262265.post-92088983274782638502008-11-18T09:39:00.000-05:002008-11-18T09:39:00.000-05:00We also need better play calling. If I recall correctly we were under 2 minutes, 1st and ten, needing about 5 yards to get into a more comfortable range for Dawson and all 3 plays were pass attempts??? We should have let Lewis have a run or two or three to get us a few yards, eat up some clock and not risk an interception. Instead we threw an almost interception and 2 other clock stopping incompletions. Dawson came through, but that left plenty of time for the Bills to come back for a score. We lucked out and didn't deserve that win.
Shades of Finkle-"Laces out, Dan!!" saved us.John Quitnanoreply@blogger.com
