I have created a fan page in facebook. I will be passing out freebies there. I do miss giving gifts to all of you, I really do. But the rude people just got to me. The pirates get to me. I think what annoyed me the most is, people start taking you for granted. I know there are rude people on the net. But scrappers? It's supposed to be a relaxing hobby. You scrap your pets, your family. Rude people don't have those things, do they?

Anyway, If you don't have a Facebook account, you can create one. It is a load of fun. There you can find old friends (as I've stated in the post below), play games and while you're at it, grab a freebie. I'll keep you posted there as well as here on new products and sales.

I'm still trying to figure out the fan page and how it works. lots of reading I guess. You can find my page by searching pages, Pam Lefors Designs, or this link might work too. Remember, you need an account. And I hope your account isn't just for the freebies. If so, you're missing out on a lot more.

Praising Facebook

Hey everyone,

Many of you may already have a facebook account. Many of you have heard of it but maybe aren't interested. I have to say...you all should get one. Seriously. I LOVE Facebook! Besides finding friends I haven't seen in years. One I haven't seen since I was about 10. I found my cousin I haven't seen since I was too young to remember. She lives in LA and was hit by Katrina. After the Hurricane I spent 4 years trying to find her! Guess where I found her?! Also, they have cool applications (games) I could spend ALL day playing in Facebook and sometimes I do! You can even chat there. I do that too! I have gotten many requests from scrappers, but I don't talk about scrapbooking there. It's just my life. The everyday stuff. So, I haven't accepted any. I will be opening a fan page for those interested in adding me. I'll post a note here and on my site when I do.

But seriously folks....You will LOVE Facebook. It took me 9 months before I gave mine any attention. It took a short time to figure it out. Now, I'm addicted!

I don't know why, or what's going on. I have tried contacting my web host. I can't get through. It's almost midnight and I am tired and irritated. I'll deal with it in the morning. Just something else to add to my growing annoyance with my business. Fix it or move on? That is the question.

More Astonishing...Cough, Cough!

I made a few Astonishing papers and frames with a tint of color. I also made a few without. These will be on sale while my sale lasts...which is until tomorrow. You can find these and more in the New Products section of my Shoppe. Sorry I didn't get an ad out but I was soo sick. I'm still under the weather but feeling so much better. I am on antibiotics and taking great cough medicine. My plan was to have a big black Friday bash but I was just not up to it. Still not but I'm getting there. I'm going to make some Astonishing Christmas papers and that's it for this collection. Then, I think I'll do some hand drawn Christmas. Something fun and different. I hope all my American's had a nice Thanksgiving.

It's Just Me

Hi all,

I've been sick for days. Coughing, sneezing, stuffed up, fever... And the worst part? Because of my high blood pressure I am limited to what I can take! This would be the first cold/flu in three years. Back then, I didn't have high BP and had more of a choice as far as pain relievers, fever reducers and cough suppressants. This time, I've pretty much suffered through it. I even had to sleep sitting upright on the couch. Every time I would try to lay down I would start coughing my head off. I JUST found out I have laryngitis. Had no idea until I just answered the phone. Well, my kids will be happy.

Anyway...that's what's going on at this end. No new goodies. I will be having a sale that starts midnight tonight. PST.

Thanks for the emails peeps. A lady guessed it yesterday shortly after I posted it. I announced the winner in the bottom of the post but not the artist. I am very sick and not thinking straight. It's Salvador Dali's Disintegration of Memory. Please excuse me for not emailing each of you back who emailed the answer. I am fighting a nasty cold and fever. One of my projects for my computer art class was to recreate a clock in Illustrator. I started working on one in class and it was sooooo boring. I was starting to fall asleep. On the way home all I could think about was one of my favorite artists and his version of a clock. I don't think I slept that night. I worked diligently until I had finished this replica of a portion of a famous painting of his. The first person to guess who the artist is, will receive a $5.00 gift certificate from my Shoppe. A Prayer for Noah Biorkman

This prayer was written by a sweet lady I have grown very fond of over the months. She wrote this and sent to me. I wanted to share it with all of you. I know little Noah and many children like him, need our prayers.

For those of you who haven't heard Noah's story, you can click here or check my post Noah Biorkman's dying wish.

Dear Heavenly Father, I lift Noah up to You and I Praise You for his faith... for him looking forward to being with You when the time comes. Dear Father God, I Plead the Blood of Jesus over this situation and I ask that You work a miracle here for this family so that Noah will be with us to celebrate many more Christmases to come. Dear Lord, please manifest Your Supernatural Healing Power to course throughout his entire body from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet, from the innermost particle of his being to his outermost living skin cell, and HEAL HIM totally and completely so that the WORLD is mystified and You are Glorified. Man might say he has only weeks to live, but You, Dear God, have the final say. I Plead with You, Lord, heal this little boy so that he has a powerful testimony that You are the only true God that is still in the miracle healing business, and that Your Son Jesus is the only way to eternal Salvation. Some of you may have wondered why I disabled comments. After I posted the previous note. I receive more rude comments. One woman went so far as to call me Bi-polar. It's rude people like her that suck the fun out of being generous. most people can't stop to say thank you, but go out of their way to say something mean. I was also told I'm punishing everyone. Punishing? Really? I am punishing you, because after two years of passing out freebies, I've made a personal choice not too? A personal choice brought on by the ungrateful emails and comments? Boohoo you had to use a password. God forbid I make getting something free a challenge. Most of the time people can't bother to take the time to say thank you. There are still tons of freebies on the web. Much of it crap, but once you sift through it I'm sure you'll find something worthy of using on your pages.

A very nice lady sent me an email notifying me that this person has stolen one of my elements from my Fall Sampler. She filled the center and is passing it out as her own. This woman most likely doesn't speak English and it's not the first time I have had problems with foreigners stealing my elements and passing them out as their own. This is piracy. It's unexceptable. To help eleminate this growing trend I will now be password protecting my freebies. I will ask a simple question in English and the answer will be the password.
