Is anyone really out there?

Sorry its been a while. As everyone says, things are busy. I won't give out any secrets just yet but I may have suddenly went from managing 2 bands (sort of) to possibly 4 now. Crazy but I'm loving it.

Photos are great and I know you're saying I need to post some more. I will, i will: sometime. I'm doing some senior photos and have some stuff lined up for a youth group and more band promos and live shots in the books.

What else...my family is awesome. I need to stop everything else I do in life and just hang with them. It's that feeling with the whole family jumps in the same bed all under the covers. To some that might make sense and to others, don't think that way!! Ha.

This is an older shot when I first got my digital in downtown Grand Rapids. My car, the city, rain, reflection.

Things have been crazy in every point of my life lately. Sometimes I just think about how I don't know what do to next or what will happen next. God is awesome. I have so much faith and trust in Him that it totally calms me down when I can think about it.

Life - The Fabulous has some shows coming up that I'm excited for. They've taken some time off to work on new stuff and get used to being on their own and college. They will probably be rocking faces off I'd say. My homies.

For All We Know is incredible. Ups and downs but with a new singer and guitar player they are making a come back, sort of. Anyway, they have some shows coming up too and a tour planned. I'm excited to see them back and hitting it hard.

For anyone that doesn't know me too well, these are two bands that I currently manage.

I still can't get photography out of my head. I am doing some promos this Sunday and just got hooked up with another band from Kalamazoo for some promos too. I'm excited to see that the "word" is starting to spread around. Thanks for everyones support and great comments. I'm really encouraged.

I'm also looking forward to working as an assistant for a professional photographer in town. More news to come...nite.

These photos were done at Cornerstone Festival this past summer. We meet these guys a few camp sites away and they were rockin' the generator stages like jelly rocks toast (i don't know). We found this old barn that they now have dance night in. It was really sweet with cool lights. Check the boys out.

I'm finally home from WV. It was another long trip away from home (Montreal a few weeks ago) but it was very productive. A little golf helps too. Family time now.

Here are some more random photos from the Unity festival. More to come...

I am still in West Virginia. This place is just beautiful. I actually want to move here. The hills are so awesome. We ate at an incredible place the other night. The best steak I've ever had. We ate at this place called Julio's in Clarksburg. It is across the street from a very old train station and the place used to be a hotel. The dude said in the basement there are hand dug tunnels from around the early 1900's when people used to smuggle things from building to building and to the trains. Kinda freaky.

Can't wait to be home.

Totally random but here are a few photos from the Unity Festival here in Muskegon. There are a few of Thousand Foot Krutch and a few of The Fabulous. I will try to post more shots from Unity as I get them done. They are also being posted at www.unitymusicfestival.com.

Well I am in West Virgina now and its really not as "hick-ish" as I thought it would be. A few dump trailers with a nice truck along the side of the highway (or interstate as they call it here) but overall, very beautiful hills and fun, curvy highways to drive on. I am going to go eat a big, fat steak and put it on my works dime.

I'll post more tomorrow because its boring here.

So I'm rocking the fo-hawk / professional mullet dew right now curticy of Mr. Blake V. Just in time for my trip to the great West Virginia for work. But it's all good, that will give me plenty of time to finish a bunch of photos that I'm way over due on.
