Anyone who thinks these 76 Sri Lankans are refugees, needs to give their heads a shake! Canada once again gets suckered as the preferred place for those who will do anything to circumvent our laws. Certainly anyone who has $45,000 dollars to come to Canada and lose all their travel documents indicating whence they came from leaves many to believe including me they are criminals looking for a way out of dodge. How many Canadians do you know yet alone any refugee has 45 grand lying around? Just imagine now the fun and games our Immigration officiers will endure questioning them and getting a Me No Understand response in any language spoken to them. Apparently though it is said they may have relatives in Canada eager to get them into Canada. Best we act now before the Federal Liberals start flying out here with IGGY complete with Liberal Voter registration papers to hand out at the docks.

I say put em back on the boat, a military escort to take em out 200 miles of our coast and point them back to Sri Lanka. Next time perhaps our Military should be patrolling outside the 200 mile limit from Canada's shores with Gunboats to ensure anyone who comes near gets shown the proverbial door back!

A ship carrying dozens of unidentified men seized off the coast of B.C. on Saturday might be part of a massive, international people-smuggling operation run by an Indonesian ship captain.
Abraham Lauhenapessy, known as Captain Bram, was recently arrested aboard a boat carrying 255 Sri Lankan asylum seekers off the coast of western Java, Australian Foreign Minister Stephen Smith confirmed Monday.
Some of the Sri Lankans on that vessel told officials they knew about the ship with 76 other asylum seekers picked up by Canadian authorities off Vancouver Island on Saturday.

A conservative lead in the polls may mean a majority government if it came down to an federal election today. It's about time Canadians gave their heads a shake and know Common Sense needs to rule and not Liberal rhetoric with no substance.

Stephen Harper, the piano man and economic manager, is making Canadians so comfortable they want to see him win a majority government, according to a new national public opinion poll.
The EKOS Research survey conducted for the CBC shows that the Conservatives' substantial lead over Michael Ignatieff's Liberals is solidifying – a lead that now has the Tories knocking on the door of a majority government.
According to EKOS, the Tories now enjoy 40.7 per cent support compared to 25.5 per cent for the Liberals, 14.3 per cent for the NDP, 10.5 per cent for the Green Party and 9.1 per cent for the Bloc.

MONTREAL - A complete smoking ban in penitentiaries has turned hardcore lifers into jittery, sweet-eating blobs, according to a picture painted by a lawyer who argued Wednesday in federal court that the inmates should at least be allowed to smoke outside.
Julius Grey, who is representing 19 prisoners, including some of Quebec's most notorious murderers and gang leaders, said that prison life is hard enough without having to give up what is still a socially acceptable behaviour.
"It's dangerous to think that because someone has been convicted, they should suffer more," Grey said outside the courtroom.

Ever wonder which countries seem to have the largest percentage of starving masses? Ever wonder which countries which have starving masses seem to get the lions share of international food aid? Ever wonder which of these countries is a democratic country? Ever wonder which country with the starving masses, largest reciepiant of Western Aid has despot leaders ruling these countries? Ever wonder where all this food and monetary aid is going? Has anyone ever checked the Swiss Bank accounts of these despot dictators to find out how in the hell did they amass a great fortune once in power, yet before taking power, they did not have a pot to piss in monetarily?

Now ask yourself, how come we have countless questions to which no one can answer? Answers that despots need to provide before we hand out billions of aid dollars which do not seem to be getting to the starving masses it was intended for.

They say cut the head off the snake to eliminate the problem, I say withhold all western aid till the despots are overthrown from power, as no aid money means no food or weapons for their armies. One thing we all know is the armies the world over march on their bellies, and without food those armies will soon revolt or walk away from the despots. Then and only then will we see a change. Many will say in the meantime while we wait for a change of government, millions will die. I say to that, they already are!

NAIROBI, Kenya -- Parents in some of Africa's poorest countries are cutting back on school, clothes and basic medical care just to give their children a meal once a day, experts say. Still, it is not enough.
A record 1 billion people worldwide are hungry and 30 countries now require emergency aid, including 20 in Africa. And those numbers will increase dramatically if governments do not spend more on agriculture, says the UN Food and Agriculture Organization. The gloomy trend continues despite a goal set by world leaders nine years ago to cut the number of hungry people in half by 2015.

Immigration bad for us, new Canadian book says

Yeah, well, one did not need to do a long expensive and exhaustive study to figure that little tidbit of information out did they? I have been saying this for years, when Media show many who come to our shores,show little loyalty to Canada or go right into Criminal activity learned from their former country. Though the majority of immigrants are hard working and law abiding, it is time to cut the wheat from the chaff and get the ones who will benefit Canada first.

Many in the Politically correct circles, especially politicians who would gladly trade ethnic votes to guarantee an election win to stay in office are one of biggest Pro Immigration proponents. Is it any wonder? Of course New Immigrants would gladly sell their souls and vote for whoever gets them that Ticket to Ride to Canadian Shores!

There is no argument that skilled immigrants add much needed value to Canada, where as third world immigrants with little or no social or education place a major drain on Canada's society, with many of these third world immigrants becoming ghettoized into urban areas such as Toronto ghettos where major crimes are committed, with gangs and shootings commonplace as reported in the media. Many of these immigrants have little prospects in getting further education, learning to read, write and comprehend enough English or french to get even the most menial of jobs. Those that do, work below minimum wage by unscrupulous employers.

Canada needs to stop being the Worlds social agency for Immigrants, especially those who come here, get their citizenship and then leave for their former country to live and work, only to return sporadically in order to be eligible for Old Age Security, to have their children born in Canada or educated. I am looking at YOU ASIA and MIDDLE EAST!!!! Remember the fiasco when Lebanon came under invasion and Canada had to send friggin Cruise ships to get Canadians out of Lebanon. HELLO!!!!!!! You really think those thousands of Canadians were just visiting? Give your Head a Shake People!

That is not to say it is racism, it is a fact of life, and not right or fair to anyone, especially when Canada has more than enough mouths it is struggling to feed as it is and has little time to rescue part time Canadians or those whose Countries who rely on our foreign aid to help their people, don't and line their own pockets with our Taxpayer funded Foreign aid while their people starve.

Of course the Lieberals want to distance themselves from this farcical Twit of an MP who has been given her comeuppance by the Public outraged that Little Miss Ethnic Votes R Us has been found out trying to spend Canadians money on those who would be recent old age arrivals only need to wait a piddly 3 years instead of 10 years in Canada and never have to work in Canada a day in their life to collect what many Canadians work a lifetime to collect. That is our Old Age Pension, a sacred cow not to be trifled with by seniors, granted it may only be 7000 dollars or so a year, but why should someone who is a recent arrival and close to old age be eligible to reap the benefits without having to pay a god damn dime into it? Ruby Tuesday, Dhalla Wally Dingo thinks it is perfectly fine to slaughter this sacred cow with both barrels!! So how about Ruby offer her pension for life to the tune of 100K a year to her constituents to pay for their aged parents who are allowed to come to Canada! Hello Ruby, you hear me? I didn't think so!

Course Ruby is not alone in all this, there were a slew of ethnic vote grubbing liberals who were all part of the scam to get more ethnic votes, but it seems, they all backed away leaving Ruby stranded to wallow in her own political fecal mess. Liberal Leader Ignatieff and his Toronto Handlers I am sure wanted this Ruby reading to just go away, considering his Liberal pre election stance against the Ruling Conservative Government as he issues them a throw down Challenge that Canada is in an Economic Mess, and only the Liberals would be as fiscally responsible would not bode well if this Reading by Ruby and her Wonk Backpeddlers came in sneaking in the backdoor.

Grits distance selves from Ruby Dhalla's old age benefits bill

OTTAWA — The Liberal party’s seniors and pensions critic says she will not support a contentious bill introduced by one of her fellow caucus colleagues that would improve access to Old Age Security pension benefits for seniors.

The legislation, tabled by Liberal MP Ruby Dhalla, was designed to allow elderly immigrants to qualify for the pension benefits after being in the country for three years, instead of the current requirement of 10. But Judy Sgro, the seniors and pensions critic, said the Liberal party wants to come up with a more comprehensive approach to addressing pension issues.

“The leader (Michael Ignatieff) and the Liberal caucus feel the solutions to the challenges facing our national pension and retirement systems must be addressed holistically and with a comprehensive national vision,” Sgro said in a statement released late on Monday afternoon. “Expenditure of public dollars must never be made without careful consideration of the long-term ramifications on the public treasury.”

Story One

A Government Bill will allow police to enter homes during the 2010 Olymp*c Games to remove illegal signs!

With the 2010 Olymp*cs coming to a start in a few months, our illustrious "Liberal Government" under the direction of the Olymp*c Committee, have issued an ultimatum to all who feel they would like to get into the 2010 Olymp*c Spirit. The ultimatum is as follows:

The Olymp*c Committee, in agreement with the "Liberal British Columbia Government", have deemed that any logo, word or other symbol resembling a certain international sporting organization, (without their expressed permission) will result in major fines and or imprisonment for any citizen displaying Olymp*c-looking paraphernalia from their windows or outside their dwelling, such as a flag, or piece of Kraft paper adornment (from your kids 1st grade artwork) displayed on your fridge.

Heaven help the graffiti artist who spray paints this certain five-ringed logo on a concrete overpass, or even doodles five rings on their school notebook cover which may resemble a certain sporting organizations logo.

Failure to comply, will result in a massive invasion of parachuting "Gestapoite - Stormgruppenfurhertroopers", machine guns a blazing into your home, classroom, or street corner whilst you sip your Tim Horton latte coffee while holding a five ring doodle you absentmindedly drew on your 10th grade school notebook cover; cause you just know it will catch the moist garrulous eye of the policeman munching on donuts next to you.

For our American tourists who hail from the State of Washington, driver beware if you display the name of your state capital (Olympia) on your licence plate!

The new police crime task force will be called IDIOT! This acronym will strike fear into those with Derring Do!

Story Two

Olympic Cowichan sweater won't be knit by First Nation

It seems the Hudson Bay Company founded like over 500 years ago as one of Canada’s fur traders with the first nations indians, and once Canada’s proud iconic symbol and institution in its own right as HBC has decided to Poo Poo copyright of artwork designed by others.

Artwork and petroglyphs, hundreds if not thousands of years old, are the sole property of not an individual, but an entire First Nations!

Anyway, more to the point.

It seems The Hudson’s Bay Company is the main supplier of 2010 Olymp*c wear, for not only the athletes but the public who wish to pay outrageous inflated prices for clothes the Cowichan first nations peoples say is a direct rip-off of their centuries old self copyright design and artwork, both of which defines them as a culture and a people!

HMMMM, lets see. copyright infringement for the 2010 Olymp*c organisation and the defensive position of why the Hudson Bay Company is allowed to manufacture Cowichan style clothing the Cowichan people see as a clear copyright infringement.

Below is the Hudsons Bay's "PR Wonks" explaination to Canadians as to what makes their clothing different from Cowichan First Nations. Readers to my blog can decide for themselves.

Question: Is not your design a rip-off of Cowichan design?

HBC PR Response: "Our designers were inspired by great Canadian stories and Canadian fashion icons that reach from coast to coast to coast. We are very proud of our heritage including our First Nations peoples and wanted to reflect our rich history as both a country and a company in a design that will represent Canada on the world stage as well as appeal to Canadians."

So you can see readers, the tepid, legal argument used in their crossed-eyed response to the public.

Now, imagine if the Cowichan First Nations were to act in the same manner as our Provincial Liberal Government, against ordinary citizens who dare even wear a Cowichan clothing style copy. Imagine this scenario below!

If Cowichan First Nations were to walk up to a tourist or citizen of British Columbia on the street, who were wearing clothing with the First Nations Cowichan's perceived illegally copyrighted artwork icons displayed, but made by the Hudson's Bay Company, and the Cowichan peoples promptly ripped it off the backs of these people!

Or another scenario. What if a Cowichan walking down the street noticed one of their logos displayed in your window, perhaps drawn by your 4th grade child in art class. Imagine now, if this First Nation Cowichan entered your home, guns ablazing, took hold of you at gunpoint and ransacked your private domain because your child drew a picture of an Elk which looked identical to Cowichan's cultural design and artwork. What do you think would happen, I wonder?

I mean, if our Liberal Provincial Government is allowed to do the exact same thing in protecting this Olymp*c organization's copyright, it only seems fair that the Cowichan First Nations can do the same!

I tell you what would happen!

Would the British Columbia government on behalf of Hudson Bay Company and the Olymp*c organization swoop down and show the Cowichan First Nations a combination of a Ruby Ridge, mixed with an Iraqi style "Shock and Awe Campaign" wiping the Cowichan peoples off the monetary map? Many think so!

All three many assume feel copyright infringement resides with those who have the most money and political pull.

As for First Nations, it seems this Liberal Government, and perhaps the Hudson's Bay Company feel the First Nations Cowichan can just "Piss Off on the Longboats they paddled in on", be quiet, or else. Stop the whining cause who knows, there may still be a few of them smallpox contaminated blankets in the back storeroom somewhere and winters a coming.

VICTORIA — The British Columbia government has introduced legislation that, if passed, could allow Vancouver to impose penalties of up to a $10,000 fine, and six months in jail for illegal signs or graffiti during the Olympics. Are the designs original?

The prototype sweater was hand knit by Hudson’s Bay Company’s design team from which patterns were created for our manufacturer to follow. The whole collection is based on icons of Canadian fashion of which the knit sweater is one.

First Nation alleges Olymp*c rip-off

Members of the Cowichan First Nation on Vancouver Island say the Hudson's Bay Company ripped-off their design for one of the most sought-after pieces of Canada's Olympic uniforms.

The First Nation says it bid to knit its traditional sweaters for the Games, but instead the company went with a knock-off. The art of knitting what locals call "the Cowichan sweater" has been handed down from generation to generation, Cowichan elder Jenny Martin told CBC News Wednesday.

"My mom taught me how to knit when I was 15 … and my mom hand-made sweaters and ponchos," Martin said.

The Cowichan sweater is an iconic symbol of the West Coast, so it seemed a natural fit for outerwear for the Canadian Olympic team.

But when the Cowichan Tribes bid for the job, they lost. Instead, The Bay opted for what some in the Tribes are calling an expensive knockoff. The Bay is marketing its hand-knit sweater for $350, compared with $215 for the Cowichan original.

Okay, here is the deal, scam, poop. You want a house, can't afford it, unless you like so many in this province run marijuana grow operations out of your basement. The Realtors, Banks, Builders and the City of Friggin Vangroovy have an answer to your prayers. Okay wait for it~~ "Turn a portion of your home into a inlaw suite as a money maker to help you pay your crushing mortgage payments every month!"

Now as many who read my Op/Ed know, my job here is in the detail and facts of any story I Op Ed on. I read this story in friggin disbelief, do all of these Fairy Wonks want you to go bankrupt? Why? Hmmmm, let me put it in layman terms, these corpulent pustules in this story, who by the way underestimated our Olympic Dream by well over a billion dollars plus fail to tell the Starry Eyed Sheep the whole story! That is , any income you get from renting a portion of your home is TAXABLE!! So much for the savings you thought you would get.

That fly in the excrement that is yours is "any income you get from renting a portion of your home is TAXABLE!!" Boy imagine the fun and games you will have eating out of a dumpster in East Hasting as your new home, if you fail to declare this new found income to Revenue Canada. Cause you know when the Feds get through with you when they seize your home, you're hooped! OOOO WEEEEE! Good Times courtesy of "Miss Information" who seems to reside at the Vangroovy Sun Newspaper chain! So much for checking all the angles, and we wonder why people or sheep as I call them go bankrupt in these Billion dollar Ponzi Schemes?

In another vein, remember when city officials, realtors and the like told homeowners the monetary benefits of renting out their homes to tourists for thousands and thousands of dollars during the Olympics? Of Course they neglected once again to inform that the Feds were not born yesterday and when the Feds at Canada Revenue get wind of how many homeowners rented their homes out for thousands a day to tourists during the Olympics, the Feds will want their cut. Failure to pay on that rental income, once again could see you bankrupt or worse!

Oh, I forgot one more thing for people looking for easy money and easy street many overlook, ever hear about House, Fire, Flood, Theft and Liability Insurance? Ya gots to get that too, god forbid a tenant burns you out of house and home, or falls down one of your stairs or sidewalk. Because if this happens, again think of the scrumptious eats you will fighting over in that dumpster with the homeless! There have been cases where homeowners have rented out their c0ndos in those highrises, only to forget to get renters insurance, the tenant flood the condo which trickles down to all the condos below, resulting in financial damages so great the strata seize the condo to pay for the damages caused by your tenant. MMMMM dumpster food, consider that your new lifestyle!

When it comes to separate inlaw suites, don't even get me started on separate hydro electric meters, gas meters, water meters, sprinkler system in the tenants home. What about appliances, washer, dryer, fridge, stove, dishwasher. My Stars the list is endless~~! That should cost an extra 10 to 20 grand or more to install and supply. But hey good luck with that!

In ending, I have finally figured out how the Reverend Jim Jones got those hundreds of his flock to drink that cyanide laced grape juice at Jonestown! Nanny, granny or secondary suites are key for home ownership in Metro Vancouver

VANCOUVER - They go by many names — granny, nanny, in-law or student — but secondary rental suites in homes have quickly provided more than a bit of assistance to homeowners in Metro Vancouver, Canada’s most expensive real estate market. “A lot of people need the mortgage helper,” Carolyn Heaney, manager of mortgage development in Vancouver for the Bank of Montreal, said in an interview. “For them, [rental income] allows them to build equity in a home, and without that mortgage assistance, they could never afford to be in that property.”

It's about friggin time, course in 1999 the deportation levels were low as the Liberal Party in late 1998-1999 were in power during this time, perhaps the Liberals under Prime Minister Chretien were too busy getting al-qaeda terrorists out of prison to bring home to Canada. The Elder Ahmed Said Khadr family comes to mind as just one example, once he was safely back in Canada, he brings his whole family back to Afghanistan, where he is gunned down, along with his kids, with Omar Khadr surviving and being sent to Gitmo, while his older brother now needs a wheelchair ramp if he ever decides to do anymore terrorist activities. This refugee system is a farce where the well heeled can fly to Canada from their homeland costing thousands of dollars in airfare, flush their passports and identification enroute down the airplanes toilet, arrive in Canada and then make Customs and Immigration play a guessing game where these so called refugees are from? Cause god knows these refugees ain't telling them, cause if they did, their asses would be on the next plane out!

Refugees are just that, living in camps with no money and little food, these people who fly here with cash in hand are asylum seekers and economic opportunists.

MONTREAL - Federal documents indicate deportations from Canada have skyrocketed more than 50 per cent in the last decade.

Statistics obtained under the Access to Information Act show the country deported more than 12,700 people last year - compared with about 8,300 in 1999. About three-quarters of those getting the boot are failed refugee claimants. Refugee advocates fear many of them are being sent home to torture and persecution because of a flawed asylum system.

A Calgary operator of a marijuana grow-op who preyed on new immigrants and was the source of some pot sent to Toronto has won a legal victory in his fight to stay in Canada.

De Bing Li, 38, of Vietnam, was jailed for 16 months in February 2006 after pleading guilty to production of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. FOUR HOMES

He was one of four men charged in August 2004 after Calgary police raided four homes used for marijuana growing operations and seized more than 2,000 plants with an estimated street value of $2.5 million.
