So I got my new phone. The Palm Pre it is very slick. The multi-tasking is excellent. I was able to use the navigation turn by turn directions, access instant messaging, and look at a web page all at the same time. Also the camera is spectacular here are some of the shots I took last night at the Rays game.

Its been one month since my Mom passed. We went to the Dragonboat race on Saturday they did something special for all cancer survivors, they also put my a sticker on my Moms chair with the year of her birth and now death. Sometimes I just cannot believe she is gone.

Well it looks like our new president isn't quite so loved any more in Switzerland. The German text is translated as Your Finished! The whole article is interesting I have been using Babel Fish to translate, if you want a copy of the article(in German) I can send you the same attachment I have. Okay so I am back up with none of my extra garbage for right now, I know if you happened to visit yesterday you saw this page: BLACKOUT it was my small form of protest to stop the government of New Zealand from doing their crazy anti-piracy legislation.

Also Adam Carolla has been removed from his daily radio show but his site Here has now a pod cast, you can also locate it on iTunes under The Adam Carolla Podcast. Its foul at points but Adam is a funny guy.

My brother is getting set to have his first child. She will be in the world soon. They might induce my sister-in-law on Friday.

So I forgot that I could do this Via email. So I am back for right now..:) I know I have such surges of Blogging then I lose it. I am really looking forward to the Palm Pre. I know, my instinct is just a few months old but the Palm Pre looks so impressive. Recently I added sprint here at work as a resource, oh I have be put in charge of our Cell Phones here at the firm. I am tired of us being under At&t's heel and I wanted one of the higher speed networks, so that left Verizon and Sprint. Well Verizon is horrible with their customer service, sooooo here comes Sprint. Its gonna be their chance to shine or fall flat. Everyone here of course teases me that I am just blinded by the Pre.....:)

They could be on to something, it is amazing.

So long time no update, which is par for the course for me. On a quick note, I have bought a House, and it is amazing. I have a Home, I am a property owner, YAY!!!! I know I am so adult now. You would think that this would keep a Captain land bound, but it isn't so......Just delaying the Sailboat purchase a little.

On a much more entertainment driven note, for all you Dr. Who fans, apparently in the not too distance future were gonna have a new doctor, and just when I was starting to like Tennant, were gonna get Matt Smith. Oh well he looks a bit emo to me.

Okay well thats what I felt the need to say, also I am disappointed in congress and our new president for delaying the Digital Switch over, you know what would make people switch, would be when their TV's stop working.

The professor told his class one day, 'Today we will experiment with a

form called the tandem story. The process is simple. Each person will
pair off with the person sitting to his or her immediate right. As homework
tonight, one of you will write the first paragraph of a short story.
You will e-mail your partner that paragraph and send another copy to me.

The partner will read the first paragraph and then add another paragraph to the story and send it back, also sending another copy to me. The first person will then add a third paragraph, and so on back-and-forth. Remember to re-read what has been written each time in order to keep the story coherent. There is to be absolutely no talking outside of the e-mails and anything you wish to say must be written in the e-mail. The story is over when both agree a conclusion has been reached.'

The following was actually turned in by two of his students, Rebecca and Gary .

THE STORY
(1st paragraph by Rebecca)

At first, Laurie couldn't decide which kind of tea she wanted. The chamomile, which used to be her favorite for lazy evenings at home, now reminded her too much of Carl, who once said, in happier times, that he liked chamomile. But she felt she must now, at all costs, keep her mind off Carl. His possessiveness was suffocating, and if she thought about him too much her asthma started acting up again. So chamomile was out of the question.

Meanwhile, Advance Sergeant Carl Harris, leader of the attack squadron now in orbit over Skylon 4, had more important things to think about than the neuroses of an air-headed asthmatic bimbo named Laurie with whom he had spent one sweaty night over a year ago. 'A.S. Harris to Geostation 17,' he said into his transgalactic communicator. 'Polar orbit established. No sign of resistance so far...' But before he could sign off a bluish particle BEAM FLASHED out of nowhere and blasted a hole through his ship's cargo bay. The jolt from the direct hit sent him flying out of his seat and across the cockpit.

He bumped his head and died almost immediately, but not before he felt one last pang of regret for psychically brutalizing the one woman who had ever had feelings for him. Soon afterwards, Earth stopped its pointless hostilities towards the peaceful farmers of Skylon 4. 'Congress Passes Law Permanently Abolishing War and Space Travel, 'Laurie read in her newspaper one morning. The news simultaneously excited her and bored her. She stared out the window, dreaming of her youth, when the days had passed unhurriedly and carefree, with no newspaper to read, no television to distract her from her sense of innocent wonder at all the beautiful things around her. 'Why must one lose one's innocence to become a woman?' she wondered wistfully.

Little did she know, but she had less than 10 seconds to live. Thousands of miles above the city, the Anudrian mothership launched the first of its lithium fusion missiles. The dim-witted wimpy peaceniks who pushed the Unilateral Aerospace disarmament Treaty through the congress had left Earth a defenseless target for the hostile alien empires who were determined to destroy the human race. Within two hours after the passage of the treaty the Anudrian ships were on course for Earth, carrying enough firepower to pulverize the entire planet. With no one to stop them, they swiftly initiated their diabolical plan. The lithium fusion missile entered the
atmosphere unimpeded. The President, in his top-secret mobile submarine headquarters on the ocean floor off the coast of Guam, felt the inconceivably massive explosion, which vaporized poor, stupid Laurie.

Okay, so here is a real update by jott,or with jott I guess I should say. I am doing well. Last night work really late till 10:30 working on some projects with [unclear speech, please listen] because as for closure become more popular or need to have people becomes greater and then the amount of people I have to support becomes greater but I have a really good team my boss is really good and my coworkers are pretty on the ball, but it's just a lot of work and nothing really has been changed that. So hope everything else is going well with everyone else out in the world. Probably gonna put some pictures up me and the girlfriend when out to Jet ski last Friday and let me tell if you never got any Jet Ski it's a blast. Had a lot of fun went to Woody's(?) water sport.. listen

Some Entertainment

Okay so lately two shows have come to my attention. One is John Adams staring Paul Giamatti as Adams. It is a mini-series on HBO highlighting the first 50 of the US. Based on a book written bu David McCullough it is a very well done drama. The interaction with the characters is impressive. I like that I am seeing my own countries history in a way like when they did Rome. It is on 9 PM on Sundays EST on HBO, I am sure it will be on HBO On Demand.

The other show is a much lighter-hearted affair. Is Miss Guided starring Judy Greer as a High School Guidance couselor, at the school she graduated from. When she was there she was just a nerdy girl. It seems to be a better written version of the show Teachers, RIP, a show which I enjoyed as did my brother and my friend Ryan, who are both High School teachers. The show is very fun, most of the comedy ends up being at the expense of the main character but as in all good sitcoms it gets worked out in the end. Miss Guided is on Thursday nights at 8:30EST
