My friends, I'm really sorry I didn't mention anything about this. But...

I'm now engaged. :)

It's very sudden, I know, I myself is taken aback with his sudden proposal. He insists that we marry soon, but I don't know...

I could've said no of course, it's very soon for us to be engaged. I still have to finish my studies... heck, I still have to decide whether I should continue on my course or not! But... I guess I love him too much. How could I ever refuse such an offer from someone I love so dearly? ...I'm sure you'll understand one day. It's been quite some time now that we've been together and I know you'll like him as well once you see him. :) (if you actually read my blog, you'll probably have an idea by now. :) He's a kind, hardworking, and generous man. I can assure you of that. ^^ Again, I'm sorry if I hadn't told you anything until now. We'd like to keep it as private as possible, but now that he has proposed, I guess it's high time that you know about it. It wouldn't be long until you find it out anyway. ^^;

I've opened this up with my family, of course, it was a rather hard time explaining it to them, (it's a long story) but after seeing him, they finally agreed. He also got pretty comfortable with their presence, and vice versa. I'm just glad. :) I believe there would be no problems on their part... and now I just want to say... Please give us your blessings. It'd mean EVERYTHING to me. :')

Heh. He's really enthusiastic, it's kinda fun seeing him so excited. XD In fact we we're thinking of a venue already... I'll be telling you the details. Just read on. ^^

Should you remember, it's almost a YEAR when I've had this CRAAAAAZYYY dream last Christmas! Better read it first before this one! hahaha

Back then, I was a fan, diligently waiting for the boys to finish their performance on the UST grounds... and now, I am none other than Han Geng's fiancee.

I honestly couldn't ask for MORE of that CRAZY stuff since I've dreamt that one on Christmas... that I KNOW that it's a ONE in a thousand chance to dream ANOTHER CRAZY stuff about Super Junior.... BUT DAYUM!! This one really outdid itself! hahahaha to think that this is SOOO MUCH CRAZIER than the first!

...I think I just died and went to heaven.

The first one I could even comprehend in my mushy little mass of whatever was left of my brain... But this one.... I'm at my wit's end, people! YOU JUST HAVE NO IDEA. XDDDDD

In the dream, he didn't really propose to me, but we were wearing RINGS. The people around us also treated us as engaged couples, so that's how I confirmed it. :)) I can't just say to him, "Are we engaged, oppa?" right?! hahaha

We were in BULACAN, with my grandparents, cousins, uncles, and whatnot. We were planning to go to Baguio to spend our vacation... it was night when we were planning, the ambiance felt like (as it's all fuzzy right now) we were in a resort, having our overnight stay... He's beside me and I just hugged him because he'll not be coming with us. Then the people around us suddenly turned to my elementary schoolmates! With our HS Social Studies prof. :)) WEIRD. Then the surrounding turned into a classroom setting. XDD Then he was whispering to my ear, "Don't go. It would be dangerous right now." Haha. His tone was like we were in a suspense action movie. It's kinda funny now that I think of it. But damnnnn. We were so CLOSE, our faces almost touch, it doesn't even matter!! If it would only happen in real life.... hahahaha

He was really thoughtful and caring. AHHHHHHHHHHH. I don't think I could ever find a boyfriend now, since I'll be comparing him a LOT with Hankyung. Hahaha. Sad, but right now, Hankyung is more than I'll ever need. :")

THEN LATER! We were still hugging each other, it's illegal, people were looking, my HS prof was discussing something and got distracted by it, my former classmates were basically staring at us right now, then we decided to leave. =)) We then began walking in an alleyway... The setting looked like a post-war scene where buildings were rundown and the sky gloomy. We then entered a building and it turned out to be... a multi-leveled SHOPWISE. =))))) (Kinda like Walmart to US peepz) We were transported to ANTIPOLO all of a sudden. =))))

HAHAHA honestly when I woke up you could only see the most incomprehensible look on my face. =))

But hey, since this is a dream, I just said, "Oh, umaasenso na sila ah."
(Oh, they're doing pretty well.)

2NE1 camp eyes Young JV

Rising hip hop and R&B artist Young JV may just get the biggest break in his career next year if he could seal the deal to be one of the front acts at Korean girl group 2NE1’s planned Manila concert.

Nothing is final yet, but Young JV informed Manila Bulletin Entertainment Online that the promoter for the concert has already contacted him and his road manager to make arrangements.

“The promoter’s name is D-Mac, a former schoolmate of mine. He already knew that I have an album out but it was really my videos on YouTube that got him interested in getting me for the concert,” said Young JV in an exclusive interview.

If plans push through, the 2NE1 concert will be held at Araneta Coliseum in March.

“D-Mac and I already talked on the phone and I think some people are also trying get Rain and The Wonder Girls (act behind the hit song, ‘Nobody’) to hold separate concerts here,” said Young JV.

If all goes well, Young JV said that his talent fee would be of no issue since he knows how big 2NE1 is in Asia nowadays.

“Kahit di malaki ang talent fee na ibigay nila sa akin, I’ll accept the offer. Kahit tubig nga lang ang ibayad nila, I’ll go out there and perform for the exposure doing so will give me,” said he who counts 2NE1’s “Fire” and “I Don’t Care” singles as ones he is most familiar with.

While waiting for things to fall into place, Young JV is busy tending to his career that continues to gather steam. He is set to release “Don’t Know You,” the latest single from his debut CD, “Ready Or Not.” The song is in collaboration with singer Heide Riego and has a video directed by Treb Monteras II.

“‘Don’t Know You’ talks about taking it slow with someone because you want to get to know that person better before taking the relationship to a different level. We went for a simple and clean look for the video because the song is the feel-good type,” he said.

Meanwhile, Young JV’s Lahing Bayani Foundation continues to make significant strides. It recently donated to the Sagip Kapamilya campaign with Young JV himself delivering the goods to ABS-CBN.

“I also helped repack the goods and joined some of my Kapamilya friends in distributing those in Novaliches,” he said.

The hip hop/R&B artist also uses time between gigs to hone his craft. Young JV is undergoing not only voice and dance lessons, but he is attending acting workshops as well.

“You’ll never know when opportunity will knock. I want to be ready when it does,” said he who is gearing up for a major concert next year with guest performers Billy Crawford and Jay R.

Given the chance, Young JV would like to collaborate with either Rachelle Ann Go or Sarah Geronimo in a way that’s similar to Gary Valenciano’s team-up with rock band Sponge Cola.

Young JV recently performed at the Private Secondary School Administrators Association of the Philippines 2009 Mr. PRISAAP event held in Iloilo City at the Centennial Resort Hotel. The artist himself won the MR. PRISAAP title in 2006.

He also performed at the AFP Educational Benefit System recognition night titled “Salute To Success,” which had AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Victor S. Ibrado as guest of honor.

I've been rambling about this on Twitter early this morning and I might just piss off some if I ever continue, so I'll just move it here on my blog.

The Season is coming, the Christmas feeling, and with it, THE feeling... The Suju mania! Kyaaaaa~! ♥

I usually don't feel the Christmas spirit until the day before Christmas itself, sometimes even DAYS after it, but now it's just... YOSH! 8DDDD

The chilly air actually helped too. I'll freeze if I ever let my windows open. XDD

Wait, I might be confusing some, why must I associate Super Junior with the Christmas Season?

Well aside from the fact that tomorrow is Super Junior's 4th Anniversary (!!!! Yes people, we are planning on making #superjunior and #standbykangin on Trending Topics on Twitter Tomorrow !!!) My anniversary for becoming a Suju fan began on the festivities itself! If you've been long here enough, it was exactly on the day I dreamt of HanKyung (Christmas Night) and of Heechul (Christmas Eve) that I've become really hooked with Suju. How awesome of a gift is that, huh? ;D

I'm seriously hooked in this song. And the MV just makes it worse. T_T

The song is just sad, it always manages to well up my tears whenever I see it. The guy on this MV is just GREAT. He's just perfect for the role. The way he looks so helpless, a bit naive, and childlike... it's just GREAT. He perfectly brings to life the lines:

I dunno how to describe it better.

It's also good that he's the one delivering the message of the song, not necessarily Bom. It'd make perfect sense if he is.

The stark contrast of the MV and the sad meaning of the song is also complementing rather than being awkward. It gives off a fairytale vibe but... you just know it won't work. T__T The bright colors actually helps it give a feel-good feeling but when that scene where the guy just pushes his wheelchair over the stairs is just........ heartbreaking. TT_TT Especially the projector thing. It's simply genius. :'( Bom actually brought Christmas early just for the guy. That just explains the guy taking it overwhelmingly. TT____TT They know the guy wouldn't be there for long and she tries hard to be strong in front of her man until the end. The MV just shows the struggle of a couple trying to maintain a normal relationship despite that it'll be broken by inevitable demise. TTTT_______TTTT Again props to the actor giving life to the character. He actually looks good with Bommie too. :') Bommie also did a good job. The two of them looked really cute while playing video games. :')

Somehow, with the flying scooter, it reminded me of GD's Butterfly MV, which I'll be posting later (with my random 2Ji thoughts on it, so expect me to be back to my crazy self XDDDD). I wonder if they're the same director?? I wouldn't be surprised if so.

If you remove the 'ン'　on the sentence covering the wee critter, you can very well see that that little duckie is actually in a Santoryu stance! Ahhhhhhhhhh~ ODA. ODA. ODA. ♥ Some are arguing that they are actually hinting at Ssanji x Robin. As Sanji is represented by a duck, and the following trait it has, with Robin at 'peace' with the ducklings made them think so... Good point actually, I have to admit. BUT I JUST CAN'T, for the life of me, CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY WOULD THEY HAVE TO PUT IN A ZORO DUCKIE IN THERE? The rest of the crew (except maybe for Sanji) aren't symbolized in there either! XDDD

Hahahaha, oh my, I'm on my ZoRobin bias again. But really now, I really don't understand. XDDD

If they were to hint at SanRo in that image, all they just have to put is a duckie with a possible slight curl pattern on its forehead going all gaga for Robin. XDDD Then I'll accept defeat. Anyway, SanRo is slowly going up the ranks on ALL my shipping for Robin-chwan so it's still good. :))

Dear friends,

I’m asking your help to spread the word. Tulungan po ninyo akong ikalat ito. Beyond this, we should also demand action. I disabled a plugin so you can copy the photos of relief goods rotting in DSWD warehouses. You can link this post to your blogs, facebook, websites etc. You can also email the photos.

Philippine News (US based Philippine newspaper) will use this as its front page story this week. Every Filipino has the right to know where the tons of donations from the UN and other counties go. Kahit po nakakahiya sa mga nag-donate. Kung sa ganitong paraan, matutulungan natin ang mga nasalanta, then by all means, let’s do it.

For those who have the time, please try to volunteer sa DSWD warehouses. Getting in was not easy. A friend had to put in a word for us. Let’s see kung madali nang makapasok sa DSWD warehouse ang mga volunteers.

DSWD Secretary Esperanza Cabral: Wala kasing volunteers.

This short interview was done over the phone. Philippine News wanted to hear her side pero ayaw niyang makipag-usap sa press. After four tries, pinasabi na lang niya ang maikling sagot na ito sa secretary niya - “Walang volunteers”.

I don’t want to accuse her of corruption but at the very least she is showing signs of being totally incompetent. We are in a state of calamity where every second counts. May namamatay araw-araw dahil sa sakit.

In my opinion, these deaths could have been prevented if Secretary Cabral had tried a little harder to do her job.

Deaths from Philippine storms nears 1,000

“Tropical Storm Ketsana left 420 dead and 37 missing when it flooded 80 percent of Manila on September 26, a disaster the government said affected 4.35 million people.

Some areas are still flooded three weeks later and 189,000 people remain in evacuation centres,

Typhoon Parma hit the northern Philippines on October 3 and lingered as a tropical storm for a week, triggering landslides that killed 438 people and leaving 51 missing mostly in mountain communities.

The government agency said Parma affected 4.16 million people, including more than 32,000 who remain at evacuation centres.”

During the first week after the storm, lumabas ang “bayanihan spirit” ng mga Pinoy. “Makatulong lang kahi’t konti,” katwiran nila.

At the Tulong Bayan center at the Expo Centro in Cubao, Most of the volunteers were adolescents as young as 10 years old, along with their kuya or ate in high school and college.

They came in huge numbers, many of them barkadas, classmates or siblings, dressed just in their tees and shorts, wearing their Havaianas. All were just enthusiastic to do their share!

GMA asked world for donations

Our government begged the world for more donations. Sumagot ang buong mundo sa ating panawagan. In less than three weeks, dumaong ang mga barko, ibinaba mula sa mga cargo planes, i-diniliver ng mga trak at container vans ang sandamakmak na relief goods. Cash donations were in the millions of dollars.

But these donations must be coursed through DSWD

Nagpalabas ng directive ang pangulo. Individuals, private companies and other nations were ENCOURAGED to send their donations to DSWD. I blogged about it here and the video of her announcement here.

This PGMA directive sounded suspicious to me then. Now I know why. Here’s the story.

A group of eight people, your ate Ella included, went to one of DSWD warehouses to help in repacking relief goods. We know they need volunteers pero hindi namin akalaing WALANG TAO TALAGA SA LOOB NG WAREHOUSE!

As in sa isang humongous warehouse (1000++ sq.m) NA PUNONG-PUNO NG RELIEF GOODS HANGGANG BUBONG, ISANG DSWD employee lang at ISANG SECURITY GUARD ang tao!!

Kailangang magpa-register at i-schedule ang volunteering

The warehouse can only take as much as 50 volunteers at a time or per shift. Here you will find that there is a 4-hour shift, and an option for a 6-hour shift for the volunteers to indicate their availability.

What “volunteers”? Nasaan?

Aside from the 8 of us? Nope, there was nobody there. Bakit kailangan ang scheduling? Feeling hindi ba magkamayaw at nagu-unahan ang mga volunteers?

I know somebody who wanted to volunteer many times. She was always bumped off, laging nirere-schedule kasi “there were too many volunteers” daw. At tuwing Sunday lang daw puwede. What the hell is going on here?

Mga banig na dapat ay nahihigaan ng mga nasalanta. Mga imported camp beds na hindi na yata masisilayan ng mga biktima. Mga kumot na hindi naman nakabalot sa katawan nila. At mga pagkaing hindi sumasayad sa sikmura nila.

The relief goods are not going anywhere

We arrived at about 8 am and left by midafternoon and yes, you guessed it right. Kami pa rin ang tao bukod sa isang DSWD employee sa loob ng warehouse maghapon. Walang ibang dumating.

The relief goods are not moving. By the way things look, they are not going anywhere. Hindi maglalakad mag-isa ang mga donations na ito papunta sa mga evacuation centers.

Now let’s take a look at what a victim will get from DSWD

Look Ma, sampung lata ng sardinas! How generous! Kaldero ang unang ilalagay sa sako. Sabong panglaba (bar soap) at sampung sardinas sa ilalim. Siyam na sabon sa gilid ng kaldero. Local goods lahat syempre.

Tapos papatungan ng isang tuwalya at isang pack ng sanitary napkin.

Sisiksikan ng tatlong rolyo ng kumot(?) ang blue water jug tapos ipapatong sa kaldero sa loob ng sako.

Last but not the least, lalagyan ng dalawang banig.

Sabay tatahiin na ang sako. O di ba, parang asong tinapunan ng buto ang mga nasalanta? Eniwey, busog naman sila sa SAMPUNG lata ng Mega sardinas

Do not delay

YOU THINK?? WTF is the matter with these people? Mag-iisang buwan na mula nang masalanta ang mga kababayan natin. ISANG BUWAN!! Do you mean “do not delay ang dati nang delayed”?? Shet.

Anong ginagawa ng mga donations na ito sa warehouse?? APAT na warehouse ang nasa loob ng compound na ‘yon! APAT na warehouse na punong-puno ng inaalikabok na relief goods! Relief goods na ayaw yata ibigay sa mga nasalanta. Halatang-halata.

Wow! May bagong shipment na naman! At the rate DSWD is moving, next year na madi-discover kung ano ang laman ng mga kahong ito.

“The first of two of the largest high-energy food shipments from the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) arrived in the country two days ago for victims of storm “Ondoy” and typhoon “Pepeng.”

The biscuits were fortified with essential vitamins and minerals for supplementary feeding to children, pregnant women and the elderly in evacuation camps. Another 100 tons of biscuits will arrive on Oct. 24, in a continuing effort to provide food assistance to flood victims.

Sige, ideretso ‘nyo ulit ‘yan sa DSWD warehouse. Para AMAG naman ang abutin ng biskwit… at sapot ng gagamba.

Conclusion

Sa maghapon namin sa warehouse,nakagawa kami ng 150 sacks of relief goods. 150 bags of relief goods lang ang lumabas sa warehouse na ‘yon that day. At nandoon pa rin sa loob ang mga imported relief goods, safe, sound and packed as the day they arrived.

Nakisakay kami palabas sa isang DSWD delivery van. Gusto sana kaming ihatid ng driver hanggang Makati pero wala raw siyang sobrang gasolina. Ibinaba na lang niya kami sa gitna ng EDSA. Millions of dollars in donations, walang extrang pang-gasolina.

Susulpot din siguro ang laman ng mga mahiwagang kahon at mapapasakamay din ng mga tao…sa ARAW NG ELEKSYON. O mabibili na nila ang mga imported goods na ‘yon sa mga puwesto sa Quiapo at Divisoria.

Suggestions lang po sa DSWD:

Alam ‘nyo palang walang mag-volunteer sa inyo, bakit hindi kayo mag-hire ng mga tao? Bayaran ‘nyo ng arawan para mag-repack. Ang daming walang trabaho, makakatulong pa kayo. Hindi naman malaking kabawasan ‘yon sa bilyong pisong donasyon na natanggap ninyo.

Isa pa, gaano ba karami ang mga sundalo natin? Hindi ba puwedeng ipagawa sa kanila ‘yan? Baka isang araw lang, tapos na ang problema ‘nyo

Bakit hindi ‘nyo ibigay ang trabaho sa mga NGO, churches, private charities, TV stations? I’m sure they are more than willing to help. Time is of the essence. Huwag kayong suwapang. Obvious ba, hindi ‘nyo naman kaya.

Kung talagang gugustuhin ninyong makarating agad sa mga kawawang biktima ang mga donasyong ‘yon, nagawa ‘nyo na ‘yan. Maraming paraan…kung talagang gusto ‘nyo lang.You are the government. You have the power, the resources and the money. You just have to really care.

A word of encouragement from my favorite speaker, Mr. Francis Kong, during in this time of need.

WHEN TRAGEDY STRIKES

There are questions that are hard to answer.

In the wake of the recent calamity many people are asking questions.

Why did the calamity occur?
Who is responsible for this?
Why does this have to happen to me at a time like this?
Where is God in all of these?
Why do I feel so angry?
Is this the end times?
Is God judging our country?
What will happen to me now?
Will I still be able to recover?

Tragedies are real. And the people who are affected by tragedies are not just statistics. They are real people. In any tragedy the tears are real and so the worst thing to do is to pretend it’s not that bad. Whether it is a personal tragedy or a calamity that hits a family, a city or even a country, the hurts and the pains are real and we need to understand some principles behind it.

1. TRAGEDIES WILL HAPPEN.

In this world there will be trouble.

Suffering and pain are real. No one is spared from trouble.

Climate change, ecological disasters, wars and rumors of wars are mostly caused by man’s sinfulness. There is a saying that goes: “Old man start wars and send the young ones to die in them.” And then there are the natural calamities. I remember the tsunami, the earthquakes that killed a lot more people in Indonesia while Manila was under water. There will be trouble in this world. It is part of life and existence in this planet.

2. TRAGEDIES REVEAL CHARACTER

The recent calamity has produced heroes. I think of the soldiers who gave up their lives in saving others. I think of this movie actor who saved his neighbors. I think of the countless young people who offered their time and labor helping out with packing relief goods. I think of the many private companies and individuals who did not hesitate in donating money and goods and many of them did so anonymously.

Buy tragedy also reveals sinfulness, greed and selfishness.

I think of the local official who used a rubber raft in saving his family and himself alone without taking anybody else with him when there was more than enough room to accommodate others in the raft.

I think of the local officials who withheld the giving of the relief goods because they were waiting for media coverage. I think of this executive who drowned and later on with the body recovered revealing his ring and Rolex missing.

Crisis does not create character. It simply reveals it.

3. TRAGEDIES ARE PURPOSEFUL

God is sovereign. He is still in control. But we need to learn lessons from the calamity to enable us to improve our current situation. We should not allow the recent tragedy to leave without a purpose. There are so many lessons to be learned from this.

Calamity preparation. Zoning. Safety and precautionary measures, etc. If we did not learn from this recent calamity, then the tragedy did not serve its purpose.

I cancelled all of my talks and seminars this week, got my kids with me and helped out in a relief operations center. I encourage you to do the same. This is the best time to teach our children to think beyond themselves and discover the reality that we are a part of the community.

Give what we can give. And serve while we can serve.

Go to the nearest evacuation center. Donate goods or money. Just help.

And then there is talk that there will be stronger typhoons to come.

When logic and reason stay totally helpless in situations like this, the best think you and I can do is to pray. I thought through this the other day. And I posted this thought on my Facebook page (got a tremendous amount of response all over the world):

“The flood waters have not yet subsided and a stronger storm is headed our way. In times like these, when logic and reason does not work, prayer does! Speakers like me can encourage people to stay strong in the midst of the storm. Scientists can provide helpful info on how to act during a storm but only Jesus can still the storm.”

This program which is operating right now for the tropical storm "Ondoy" victims in the Philippines, can also assist government leaders in establishing relationships with key opinion leaders.

With the broad range of needs and services in today's complex society, ELF Philippines could become involved in a wide variety of community activities. When the administrators and public affairs council consider which public affairs activities are most productive and beneficial to both the organization and the community, the following guidelines will prove helpful:

1. Every public affairs activity should be consistent with the Public Affairs Core Purpose to build relationships that are strategic.

2. Each activity should support an objective defined by the adviser and the council.

The following activities below have proven to be helpful to DPAs around the world.

a. DINNERS FOR TEN

Experience has shown that genuine local relationships can be built with a concept called "Dinners for Ten". Just as it sounds, invite about ten strategically picked guests for dinner. c. ONE-ON-ONE VISITS

ELF Philippines benefits from well-planned visits with local community leaders. The visits should be relevant and appropriate so that ongoing relationships can be established that are mutually beneficial.

MY SHORT ESSAY ABOUT THE PHILIPPINES

Filipinos always complain about the corruption in the Philippines . Do you really think the corruption is the problem of the Philippines ? I do not think so. I strongly believe that the problem is the lack of love for the Philippines .

Let me first talk about my country, Korea . It might help you understand my point. After the Korean War, South Korea was one of the poorest countries in the world. Koreans had to start from scratch because entire country was destroyed after the Korean War, and we had no natural resources.

Koreans used to talk about the Philippines , for Filipinos were very rich in Asia . We envy Filipinos. Koreans really wanted to be well off like Filipinos. Many Koreans died of famine. My father & brother also died because of famine. Korean government was very corrupt and is still very corrupt beyond your imagination, but Korea was able to develop dramatically because Koreans really did their best for the common good with their heart burning with patriotism.

Koreans did not work just for themselves but also for their neighborhood and country. Education inspired young men with the spirit of patriotism.

40 years ago, President Park took over the government to reform Korea . He tried to borrow money
from other countries, but it was not possible to get a loan and attract a foreign investment because the economic situation of South Korea was so bad. Korea had only three factories. So, President Park sent many mine workers and nurses to Germany so that they could send money to Korea to build a factory.
They had to go through horrible experience.

In 1964, President Park visited Germany to borrow money. Hundred of Koreans in Germany came to the airport to welcome him and cried there as they saw the President Park . They asked to him, "President, when can we be well off ?" That was the only question everyone asked to him. President Park cried with them and promised them that Korea would be well off if everyone works hard for Korea , and the President of Germany got the strong impression on them and lent money to Korea . So, President Park was able to build many factories in Korea . He always asked Koreans to love their country from their heart.

Many Korean scientists and engineers in the USA came back to Korea to help developing country
because they wanted their country to be well off. Though they received very small salary, they did their best for Korea. They always hoped that their children would live in well off country.

My parents always brought me to the places where poor and physically handicapped people live. They wanted me to understand their life and help them. I also worked for Catholic Church when I was in the army. The only thing I learned from Catholic Church was that we have to love our neighborhood. And, I have loved my neighborhood. Have you cried for the Philippines ? I have cried for my country several times. I also cried for the Philippines because of so many poor people. I have been to the New Bilibid prison. What made me sad in the prison were the prisoners who do not have any love for their country. They go to mass and work for Church. They pray everyday.

However, they do not love the Philippines . I talked to two prisoners at the maximum-security compound, and both of them said that they would leave the Philippines right after they are rele ased from the prison. They said that they would start a new life in other countries and never come back to the Philippines .

Many Koreans have a great love for Korea so that we were able to share our wealth with our neighborhood. The owners of factory and company were distributed their profit to their employees fairly so that employees could buy what they needed and saved money for the future and their children.

When I was in Korea , I had a very strong faith and wanted to be a priest. However, when I came to the Philippines , I completely lost my faith. I was very confused when I saw many unbelievable
situations in the Philippines . Street kids always make me sad, and I see them everyday. The Philippines is the only Catholic country in Asia , but there are too many poor people here.
People go to church every Sunday to pray, but nothing has been changed.

My parents came to the Philippines last week and saw this situation. They told me that Korea was much poorer than the present Philippines when they were young. They are so sorry that there are so many beggars and street kids. When we went to Pasangjan, I forced my parents to take a boat because it would fun. However, they were not happy after taking a boat. They said that they would not take the boat a gain because they were sympathized the boatmen, for the boatmen were very poor and had a small frame. Most of people just took a boat and enjoyed it. But, my parents did not enjoy it because of love for them.

My mother who has been working for Catholic Church since I was very young told me that if we just go to mass without changing ourselves, we are not Catholic indeed. Faith should come with action.
She added that I have to love Filipinos and do good things for them because all of us are same and have received a great love from God. I want Filipinos to love their neighborhood and country as much as they love God so that the Philippines will be well off.

I am sure that love is the keyword, which Filipinos should remember. We cannot change the sinful structure at once. It should start from person. Love must start in everybody, in a s mall scale and have to grow. A lot of things happen if we open up to love. Let's put away our prejudices and look at our worries with our new eyes.

I discover that every person is worthy to be loved. Trust in love, because it makes changes possible. Love changes you and me. It changes people, contexts and relationships. It changes the world. Please lov e your neighborhood and country.

Jesus Christ said that whatever we do to others we do to Him. In the Philippines , there is God for people who are abused and abandoned. There is God who is crying for love. If you have a child, teach them how to love the Philippines . Teach them why they have to love their neighborhood and country.
You already know that God also will be very happy if you love others.

That's all I really want to ask you Filipinos.

Okay, this was freaking me out (a little). I hadn't even expected that one coming! It even only comes second to "ELF Philippines" overall, and I wouldn't have expected that it'd eventually take over even for the day. A few days earlier, I was becoming freaked out (well again, a bit) because someone's apparently searching the exact title of my post and it wasn't just once or twice but for THIRTY-SIX times! o__o

I dunno what's the real deal because those 36 visits say it was from the same person. (New Visits = 0%) I dunno if it got bloody screwed or something (probably is) but EH??

Anyway it wouldn't have been me doing those visits, I don't search for that exact title anyway (or anything about Greg lately for that matter. Darn I feel horrible. :( ) So I am really boggled. I tried Googling "Greg Spencer Pritchard" and guess what???

Well I'm indifferent about her before, it's just, ermm... 'cool' I guess that she found her niche in Korea. I dunno, when she's here (in the Philippines) she becomes overrated. :/ It was a great thing that she went under training because if she hadn't, God knows she'll be a laughing stock.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Magnae Minji! Haha She's cute as a button. xD I HOPEEEEEEEE that she doesn't lose the HAIRCUT! Though I know that's remotely possible, I hope she keeps a short one. She looks like a spunky kid from an anime/manga. xD Kinda like Edward from Cowboy Bebop or Haru from Fire Candy. xD (oh and she looks like a lost sister of Maricris Garcia, actually one of my fave artist in the Philippines :P)

I'm also digging CL's gangsta attitude! <3 It adds to her appeal. DAMN FIERCE!! :)
Bom has a very pretty voice (and face), even on live performances and that's great. Though I hope she scrunches up her face a tinnnnnny wee bit. She looks kinda bland for me.
Dara, hmm. I dunno what to comment about her, I guess she improved a lot since her Philippine-days and that's great. Must work better on her vocals though, or else she'll end up as YG's version of Sohee. ;P

It's brilliant that they didn't end up as an ENTIRELY girl version of Big Bang. They definitely have their own style and that's an up for me. (Besides, I'm still a WonderBang for life. hahaha) I believe CL's stage presence really brought a great deal of OOMPH to them because they didn't look like amateurs at all! Heck, it looks like they've been doing it for years! Esp. Minji, being at a tender age of 15. xD (well what can we expect when you're born to a Korean legendary dancer? lol) But wtv! I'm looking forward to more of their songs.

Okay I was so absorbed with reading books, painting (traditionally! yay!), and other activites, that I forgot that I HAVE to draw for our college's planner! ...And Geng!...

Now I have to rush 14 or 16 drawings! LMAOOOO.

(But no, I don't have to draw each month, It's 13 for Suju Members, another one or two for Geng, and another month or two for the planner. Depends. Bahahaha)

3. If we join ELF Philippines, does that mean we are also members of ELF managed by SM Entertainment in South Korea?

ELF Philippines is the Philippine-based Fanclub of Super Junior. By joining ELF Philippines, we represent our own Country and another means of embracing Super Junior's Culture and giving much respect. When you join ELF Philippines, it doesn't automatically convert you as a member of ELF run by SM Entertainment. For Filipinos, joining ELF run by SM Entertainment would be easier by starting in ELF Philippines. The Committee of ELF Philippines are dedicating their time for Super Junior and giving assistance to the Filipino fans of Super Junior wherever they are.

4. When is the next ELF Philippines Gathering?
--As of now, May 25, 2009, there is no announced next Gathering for its members. And I don't think they will have another, as of now. They are busy organizing for the big event, The First Super Junior Fan Meeting in the Philippines.

5. I've heard rumors that the Fan Meeting is a hoax, is that true?
--Taken from The ELF Philippines Gathering FAQs:

There are some gossips that the ELF Philippines Committee never mentioned but the Fan Meeting being organized by ELF Philippines is a true information. The proposal started in October 2008. The Committee of ELF Philippines have already sent a request letter to SM Entertainment and what we need to do now is to pursue it by making each member participate. Every Filipino fan counts to occupy atleast 3000 seating capacity concert hall. Thai ELFs are interested to attend and fill the arena too.

5. Where is the Super Junior Fan Meeting in the Philippines going to be held?
--As I remember correctly, there's already a venue picked by the administrator (Siddypop/Goodicium). But specific details (about the Fan Meeting in General) are tightly kept, since upon NOT doing so, will result to a breaching of contract with the sponsors. The ELF Philippines management reserves the right to keep quiet about it until everything is ironed out and ready to go. :)

6. I heard that ELF Philippines is going to have it's First Annual Major Conference, what is that about?
--ELF Philippines may not have a next Gathering, but they are going to have a Major Conference. It's a grand conference of all official ELF Philippines members to be held on July 11, 2009, in The Convention Center of Balibago, Pampanga. For more details, you can read about it here.

7. You said about registration forms with surnames L-Z being LOST! What do we do?
--Yes the forms are lost, but Ate Andrea said in an update dated May 28, 2009, that those that sent their information before DON'T need to submit another one. She has soft copies, thank goodness. Read about it here if you're interested.

8. Is elfphilippines@yahoo.com not in use? It says so in the forum.
--Yes, it's not used anymore, please mail elfphilippines@nate.com from now on. I've updated the How to Apply question as well.
