The planets are aligning for me,
But I cannot read them,
For the future's gone,
And all behind me.

Through this world,
I am wandering, wandering,
A soft breeze blowing,
I am wandering now,

I am wandering, wandering,
These are the days I live now.

Our big fall show is coming up and I am quite thrilled to see the show being advertised in the New York Times on line. The New York Sheep and Wool Festival is on the 18th and 19th of October this year! Our Booth is in the lower part of the beautiful, wooden, horticultural building, space 22 31. The show is on the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, Rhinebeck, NY. The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown;
The berry's cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.
The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I'll put a trinket on.

It sure feels good enjoying the cool crisp Autumn sunshine and savoring the last days before the snow comes. Here in western NY we don't feel the push and pull of Wall street nearly as much as we feel the change in the seasons and the wind that comes from the west across the tops of the ridges between us and Lake Erie. Yup it's true I am Psychic. Panic came to Wall Street this Monday morning.
The Dow Jones industrials finished more than 360 points lower, dropping below the 10,000 mark for the first time in five years, as markets around the world spiraled downward in the face of a banking crisis that has tightened its grip on the global economy.Gimmerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12128376444285388863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6435489246580731958.post-43217739403154490642008-10-05T16:11:00.002-04:002008-10-05T16:20:10.959-04:00The Panic Is OnWhat is this country coming to,
Some would like to know,
If they don't do something bye and bye,
The rich will live and the poor will die,
Doggone, I mean the panic is on.
Can't get no work, can't draw no pay,
Things are worse, each day,
Nothing to eat, no place to sleep,
All night long, folks are walking the street,
Doggone, I mean the panic is on.
All them landlords done raised the rent,

It's beginning to look like Sen. John McCain chose death by Palin. Sarah Palin is not a world class leader she is not the kind of person to lead this nation through these difficult times. She does not have what it takes and McCain looks very weak indeed and to my way of thinking, he may not make it through a first term in any shape to govern this vast nation. It is the Harvest Moon! On gilded vanes
And roofs of villages, on woodland crests
And their aerial neighborhoods of nests
Deserted, on the curtained window-panes
Of rooms where children sleep, on country lanes
And harvest-fields, its mystic splendor rests!
Gone are the birds that were our summer guests,
