It didn't really make sense to me, as I didn't see Ashley or Nick.

I remember being woken up at 2 in the morning, going to the hospital, going home with JoJo, then going back to the hospital to see Jax there with moms. I thought it was kinda weird, but what who am I to question the ways of the world.

Anyhow, AS IT TURNS OUT, this little guy wasn't Jax, but rather my new little brother. WHAT? I have brother? What is a brother? I don't really get it. Apparently, I am supposed to love and kiss and protect this Finley kid! I just met him, that's a lot to ask, don't you think?

I realized how mistaken I was, when the real JAX showed up this weekend, as evidenced by the pictures below. Talk about thrown through a loop.

So, Finley is the same "baby" that was making my mom fatter. Do I appear insensitive if I call her fatter? Well, in any case it's true, and from what I gather she prefers truth over sugar coating.

Needless to say, these last couple of days have been interesting, and I can't really explain but I've been feeling unusually protective of my belongings, including my dad, who I own! I hope I get over it soon, I don't like it when other kids, or my mom make me hit them. They really should just listen.

Enjoy the pics.

PS. You can see, I already told Finley about blogging.

Here's me being a big brother:

The Lucahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07289777226798309552noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6418632089104031645.post-15157206112266200232009-02-07T18:43:00.001-08:002009-02-07T18:43:03.879-08:00This is the old me.

haircut-1, originally uploaded by burtime.

So my mom and dad decided I looked disorderly and took me to get my haircut today. I will post some pictures that my dad took next time, but today's post is all about me and my new best friend Robin, of Good Morning America.

You see, she mentioned me, ME, on GMA today and then proceeded to show the clip of me riding the roomba. Remember my post from last year? http://www.theluca.com/2007/09/i-am-bull-rider_23.html

Anyhow, in order to provide further evidence I have taken a screenshot, and here is the link to their site. http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/ You'll probably have to search for roomba.

As you can see, I am on there, and to be quite honest, I look good! I don't like to brag, especially since I don't know what bragging means, but my bald head and smile works nicely. It's really too bad the roomba died. My mom likes to say that I broke it because I got too heavy, however I know the truth. It was overused. Simple as that.

So, I suppose I should wait for William Morris, or Creative Artists Agency to contact me? Or maybe I should be proactive and contact them? Nah, I'd rather throw food on the floor and then laugh as I watch dad pick it up. ...he's my slave.

Thanks to the person, E, that contacted my dad. Now I can tell all my daycare friends how awesome I am.

The Lucahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07289777226798309552noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6418632089104031645.post-83359802919956566672008-11-04T22:41:00.000-08:002008-11-04T22:50:42.558-08:00Thank you, America,Thank you America for electing Barack Obama as our next President.

I couldn't vote, because I am 2 years old, so I thank you for helping to ensure that there is an America for me to live in, now and in the future. I think my parents were considering moving north again if Barack Obama wasn't elected, so I'm glad to stay.

Anyhow, I'm fairly sure I witnessed history tonight. Well, I'm guessing that's why I was clapping along with my Mom and Dad a little earlier, while watching Charlie Gibson announce Barack Obama as our next president.

Now, where's my milk?

The Lucahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07289777226798309552noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6418632089104031645.post-19226088943191295802008-10-17T12:47:00.001-07:002008-10-17T12:47:53.515-07:00Thank you for my presents.

Luca-1, originally uploaded by burtime.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who sent me birthday gifts. It's my Birthday. Yep, I'm two years old today. And you know how my dad decides to celebrate? He takes me to McDonald's, in the drive-thru no less. Wow. Thanks pops. Although, now that I think of it, I do like their pancakes.

I have done a lot this year. I learned to speak Thai. I ate cheerios, out of a bowl, on the floor, and in between the couch cushions. I have had my hair cut. I watched fireworks and played with children I didn't know. I have learned the alphabet, in both sign language and regular language, English I think it's called. I have learned that it's ironic for me to type these blogs, but not know that it is English that I am typing. I made friends with a boy named Lukas who was born a couple of days before, or after me. I can't remember. I went to the rodeo. I watched Barack Obama give a historical speech in Denver, accepting the nomination for President of the United States. (As a side note, he's doing quite well and hopefully on November 4th, he'll be the new President, so go Vote, because I can't.)

I have done a lot.

But probably the best thing that I have done this year happened today, my birthday.

I got strep throat!

Yep, you heard me, or read it rather. I have been sick as dog for the last few days. I lost my voice because my parents let me scream all night last night. I wasn't really in pain, it's just that they were sleeping and I couldn't, so I figured why let them? We're supposed to be a family right? I finally, finally was able to sleep for a few hours this afternoon. It probably has something to do with the fact that I wasn't given uppers by the folks. Can you believe they didn't know that Tylenol Cold, contains sudafed, which for someone like me keeps me up! Silly parents, trix are for kids.

Actually, I probably don't have strep throat. The doctor said it's likely a virus that will go away in a couple of days. I have my doubts, cause my throat hurts like H E double hockey sticks. Anyhow, he'll call tomorrow with the results. In the meantime, I'll dink milk and wawa and joos until I feel better.

On a related note, my parents set me up as a team leader over at Kiva. So if you decide you want to get me something for my birthday or Christmas or memorial day, go here and help out someone that needs it instead. Apparently, they set this up so that I would learn the importance of giving. I'm like, I'm only TWO and I really want a new iPod. But still I think this is kind of cool.

http://www.kiva.org/community/viewTeam?team_id=1616

Anyhow, I'm off to have some soup and about 15 popsicles.

The Lucahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07289777226798309552noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6418632089104031645.post-84408936704118600802008-09-23T21:36:00.001-07:002008-09-23T21:36:39.262-07:00I'm being kicked out.

I'm being kicked out., originally uploaded by burtime.

Well. I don't know what to say. My parents are kicking me out of my own house. I am being sent to a place where there are other kids, infants if you will, that are my height, my age, my general appearance. I would say intelligence, but I highly doubt that. I mean, do those kids know all the letters of the alphabet?

Boy, I sound a little arrogant don't I? I guess it's because I am a little scared to go to this Daycare for the first time. I should have known something was up when Dad made me eggs and panncakecakes for breakfast and then Mom gave me candy shortly thereafter. Or all the hugs and kisses I was receiving. (Actually, they were making me rub noses and give kisses to them) To be honest, I think they were having a hard time with it. My dad was fake crying, which just made me laugh because he looks like such an idiot, and well Mom, she pretty much cries when she sees a car commercial.

So today was my first day there, and I have to admit it was pretty fun. In fact I didn't even notice ma and pa had left. I immediately spotted this fantastic blue plastic thingy over by some kids and knew this was the place for me. Although, I have a feeling these people probably won't let me watch "wolf" or "clifford" or "train" as much as my parents, but that's okay, TV rots the brain.

The Lucahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07289777226798309552noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6418632089104031645.post-77597486858113975112008-09-10T10:17:00.001-07:002008-09-10T10:17:54.486-07:00Training, to beat my competitiion

Luca-1-2, originally uploaded by burtime.

You know, a few weeks ago I was watching the Olympics, and I realized that I want to be an Olympian, so I thought to myself, how soon should I begin training? CBS has done a fantastic job keeping this series alive. I mean from Big Brother 1 to Big Brother 10, every year the show improves upon itself. What I find most interesting thought is that the people on the show, volunteer to be watched making fools of themselves. I am begging to wonder if they are just picking people out of the LA talent pool, and assigning characters.

Whatever they are doing it is working. Big Brother is by far the best Television series in the history of television. Well almost. I guess I really do like Peter and the Wolf, but that's more a dvd, you tube thing that tv show.

And besides, I didn't get a tattoo of those shows on my chest, like I did for BIG BROTHER! I also don't like getting guilted into what content I decide to post up here. Take a look below:

Dear Luca,

(Both)We are writing you to take umbrage with your website. According to your website www.theluca.com the only things you have done this summer is to react to stimuli with a programed response, receive a haircut, and fool your parents (we liked that). What we failed to see was any mention of our being there. We so enjoyed our time together, even when you would pull our hair. We knew that eventually we would end up on your website, because we had as much of an impact on your life as you did on ours. (Kayla) I was the first one you hugged after a hair pulling incident, I was so honored. (Jorie) I really enjoyed chasing you around and telling you no all the time. (Both) We guess Luca what we are trying to say is...this is your warning...if you don't post something (must be positive) about our trip out to see you then we will be forced to take action.

Thanks for your attention in this matter,

Love,
Your Cousins

Now, if I must explain myself, then I will. The reason I didn't mention what a wonderful time I had with my cousins, is because I was going to dedicate an entire post to my time with them. Now it looks like I am posting out of guilt, which I am not, but it sure has taken the wow factor away! Ha. Also, I'm fairly sure it was my uncle that wrote that letter, and not my cousins. Anyhow, here are some pictures from their trip up here. I really did have a good time with them. I love playing ring around the roses, ashy, ashy. Also, it' kinda fun being pulled around in a wagon.

www.flickr.com

The Lucahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07289777226798309552noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6418632089104031645.post-59519857947782065572008-07-25T10:18:00.001-07:002008-07-25T10:45:18.162-07:00Boy, it's been a crazy summer.I have so many things to tell you. Literally. You will likely not understand my language, but I will tell you. Or use sign language, which I tend to mix up a little. Like "more" and "cookie". Yumm. I want a cookie. I'm pretty good at telling you I am "Alllll Done, Allll Done". One thing that bothers me is how my parents think I'm a trained monkey. Everytime they write letters, like, "A", "B", "C", "D"...they ask me to say what they are, as if I'm an idiot. The problem is, I can't help but respond. I feel a little like Pavlov's dog.

But here's a little secret I will share. Recently, when "night night" time comes and my dad or mom picks me up, I immediately pretend like i'm asleep by closing my eyes. I am TOTALLY fooling them. Then when they are finished singing, quite poorly I might add, and lay me down, I am really AWAKE, giving me the freedom to roam around the room, once they leave. Unfortunately, I haven't quite figured out that I can jump out of this crib. Hmm. I'll have to work on that.

The other big thing that happened, as you'll see below, is that I got my first haircut. Sure my parents tried to cut my hair 4 weeks prior, but I managed to evade them through cries and wigglyness. It was a pleasant experience really. See below.

www.flickr.com

The Lucahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07289777226798309552noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6418632089104031645.post-88641425444396650822008-06-11T22:05:00.000-07:002008-07-03T11:35:42.522-07:00I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike.Hi.
I have finally convinced my lazy parents to buy bicycles so they can cart me around whenever I feel like it. Let's be honest with Gas prices as high as they are, currently 4.19 a gallon, we'd all be a bit wiser to ride bikes. Also, my parents are Lazy. Did I mention that yet?

Anyhow, they bought a couple of bicycles which is great, but the cool thing is the attained, hopefully not by five-finger discount, this wonderful seat called iBert.

I can steer the ship, and SEE. It's quite exciting really. I like the wind blowing in my face. Yeah, it's great.

Here are a few pictures. You are jealous I know.

The Lucahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07289777226798309552noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6418632089104031645.post-61878212308749969112008-06-04T21:18:00.000-07:002008-07-03T11:35:42.523-07:00Oh, to be a Washingtonian. As you may or may not care, I haven't posted in awhile. This is because I have moved...COUNTRIES. Okay, I shouldn't be so dramatic, but it was a pretty major move.

I like it in our new place. I get to hang out with my cousins 'osh', 'cayb' and 'gracie' and 'sida', there is a lot more room for me to run around, and well to be honest, I was getting tired of sleeping in my parents closet. What did they think? I'm frickin harry potter?

Anyhow, here are some recent pictures of, well...me.

Enjoy.

This is the house. I cut 5 teeth this last month, so needless to say, the Vicadin my parents have been giving me has made pretty listless, although I feel great!

Ha. I was just kidding. While I think my parents are somewhat lame, and I judge them for that, they would not do such a thing. Or would they?

Anyhow, here is a visual recap of my last month, in no particular order.

Enjoy!

p.s. stay tuned for a new site design, because this one bores me.

The Lucahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07289777226798309552noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6418632089104031645.post-31681391053879054072007-12-09T20:11:00.000-08:002008-07-03T11:35:42.524-07:00The Santa Claus...or Scary White Bearded ManHello.

I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with my parents. They insist on taking me places that I really have no interest in going to. Especially, when I am perfectly content to sit in my chair and watch TV.

Today's little adventure was a trip to the illustrious mall to see Santa Claus. I'm not sure who this Santa fellow is, however, I did see a White Bearded, Fat man in a red suit. By the long line of my peers and their parental units, I gather this who I was supposed to see. Truthfully, I was more interested in the little play group outside.

Anyhow, my dad took some photos on his new Nikon D300. (More on that in a sec) Please note: Any tears you might see in this pictures are merely an act, as I was following the lead of those kids in front me....what can I say, I'm a people pleaser.

Truthfully, I really wasn't that scared. In fact, I pretty much forgot the whole incident until just now.

As I indicated earlier, my Dad decided to burn his money on a new camera. Not just a little 200 dollar camera, but the Nikon D300. I'm not really sure why he needed this, especially since he's not any good at taking photos, and when he does he such a nuisance! Anyhow, he DID buy it, and I am suffering because of it. (I know, I know, I normally don't complain, but come on, how many photos can one man take?....390 in 2 hours, apparently)

So of course there are a myriad of photos, most of which deserve to be my cat's kitty litter, but still I think a couple of them turned out. Even if they didn't, it's not like there won't be 4000 more in the next two weeks.

This photo is in Black and White, because it's Artistic. Do I have a cookie in my hand? NO! Because my dad is taking pictures! What a jerk.

This is a picture of me giving dad a look asking him to stop. also, I think he over saturated this photo, either that or I over saturated my diaper. Not sure which.

Here's another photo of me standing on the Window Sill, ABOVE the lit fireplace.
