I've gotta start using this in more meetings. Hopefully they'll come up with a mobile version too. So you enter in the titles of all the people in your meeting and click "start." As the timer ticks up, it shows you how many dollars the meeting is costing the company (it uses Payscale.com for the rates of the folks in the room). Simple and elegant.

Fubario is an interesting (free) application that lets you backup your critical files to your friends' hard drives. The files (and transmission) are encrypted, so your friends can read them, you're just sharing some unused disk space on each other's machines. Why is the line on the side of the road blue? Originally uploaded by koehn Does anybody know why the line on the side of Hennepin Ave in only part of downtown was recently painted blue? I originally thought it had something to do with the bike lane, but the blue line extends beyond the end of the lane, and other roads with bike lanes don't have the line.What gives?
