Heroes Returns to 9PM Timeslot on Mondays!!

For those that keep an eye on our Twitter feed then you will notice Chuck returns with a Two Hour Season 3 Premiere on Sunday Jan 10th and then will return to the Monday at 8PM time slot, which allows for Heroes to move back to 9PM!

Heroes will move to Mondays (9-10 PM ET) starting January 11 but start with two-hour
event the week before on Monday, January 4 (8-10 PM ET) after the Winter hiatus.

Episode 4x09 - Ratings Hit Series Low Second Week in a Row

Hey All,
Once again Heroes took a hit to ratings dipping to another series low of 5.07 Million viewers (not including DVR viewers). This is the second week in a row the ratings hit a low, but once again there is very stiff competition for Heroes at that 8PM time slot on Mondays.

I know many of you loved this past week's episode, but generally ratings are an affect of the previous week's episode. So perhaps Heroes lost some viewers because of last week's episode.

However, since so many of you liked this week, hopefully the positive buzz and promotion of the special Thanksgiving episode next week will give it a boost!

Do your best if possible to keep Watching Heroes Live and spread the word to your friends.

Zachary Quinto attending the "Hollywood Least Wanted 3D" event

Will you be in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 21, and would you like to help abandoned and unwanted animals?

The event, Hollywood Least Wanted 3D, is meant to raise funds and awareness of the rise of the abandoned animal in Los Angeles County due to the current mortgage crises. The event features 3D photographs of caged animals, taken by artist Rachel Schneidler (who is also putting on the event) with her customized 3D camera pictured above. Anaglyph technologies are used to create the photographs.

Furthermore, Zachary Quinto (Young Spock in Star Trek) is the honorary guest along with his dog Noah. Other celebrities are expected to attend as well with their dogs.

Staged at the Rivera & Rivera gallery in downtown Los Angeles, the event is catered to raise funds via raffle tickets as well as to serve as an animal adoption fair. One hundred percent of raffle ticket sales and fifty percent of the proceeds from the sale of artwork will go towards the Department of Animal Services.

RSVP by purchasing a raffle ticket for $20, and check out the prizes here.

This is definitely a great cause, and a novel use of 3D to promote a charity.

HOAX: Episode 4x09 - New Short Promo Featuring Charlie? (UPDATED)

UPDATE: For those that do not know yet, this is definitely a fan made promo trying to make it look like Jayma Mays returns as Charlie tonight.

UPDATE: Around the 4-5 sec mark the Green NBC Logo for Green week seems to appear and then disappear so it is possible that his is spliced with Jayma Mays from another show she appeared in.

Hayden Panettiere Will Co-Produce New CW Med-School Drama

The CW is going to medical school with "HMS," an ensemble drama from "Mystic Pizza" writer Amy Holden Jones.

The project, about a group of bright students at Harvard Medical School, marks the producing debut of "Heroes" star Hayden Panettiere, who is attached as co-executive producer.

Jones is the writer-executive producer on the drama, said to have a younger "Grey's Anatomy" vibe to it. The project, in development, hails from Warner Bros. TV.

Jones first developed "HMS" for the WB Network during the 2004-05 development season. Her script recently was brought to the attention of CW brass, who are looking to launch a medical drama franchise.

Kate Vernon Former BSG Actress Joins the Cast

It seems that sci-fi fans can expect a familiar face on a hit NBC
series sometime this season. Heroes star Greg Grunberg revealed on his Twitter account today that Battlestar Galactica alum Kate Vernon will appear in Heroes sometime this season.

While it wasn't clear what kind of role Vernon would be playing in the series, yesterday Grunberg posted a picture of Vernon and new Heroes castmate Robert Knepper, who plays the nefarious Samuel, ringleader of the mysterious Carnival. We're not sure if this means Vernon will be the latest member of the Carnival or not.

Zachary Quinto boldly goes on a romantic adventure

Will Zachary Quinto leave Heroes? Are you FOR or AGAINST that? Share your opinion.

Zachary Quinto could be taking a new ride.

The “Star Trek” topliner is loosely attached to his first post-”Trek” feature, the romantic dramedy “Whirligig.”

Quinto would play the lead role in the Canadian indie, which is aiming to shoot early next year.

The actor has been very selective about his next role, and with no deal in place and a number of contingencies that need to be met, it remains possible he’ll opt for another project as his first post-”Trek” feature.

The “Whirligig” project centers on a man who, in a misguided attempt to woo an older woman, befriends the woman’s adopted son.

Chaz Thorne is directing the pic, based on a screenplay by Michael Amo, creator of the Canadian supernatural series “The Listener,” which aired on NBC in the summer. Thorne, Amo and David MacLeod are producing.

UTA-repped Quinto was best known for his long-running role as Sylar on NBC adventure series “Heroes,” as well as a recurring role on “24″ before also breaking out as the new Spock in the summer hit “Trek.” He’s signed on to reprise his role as the deadpan Vulcan in a sequel.

Par’s “Trek” has provided a bump for a number of actors, particularly Chris Pine, who has been in negotiations to star in a new Jack Ryan pic for the studio, among other projects.

Sally Champlin Confirms She Will Return Later This Season

Thanks to Tony for the heads up that actress Sally Champlin (who plays Lynette) confirmed via her Facebook account that she will be working on Heroes again next week. I believe they are working on Episodes 4x13/14 right now so we should expect her to appear then.

I wonder if this will be in the past or present timeline? Will Hiro find Charlie and take her back?
