Skacel announced a US 0 Lace Turbo was in development late last summer, with an anticipated delivery after Jan 1, 2008. As of today (I called to double check--1/29) they were not yet available.

Hi Amy,

This is actually a comment about your lovely book "No Sheep for you" which I got from my local library - there is a LONG waiting list for it. :)

I love information about textiles, and was glad to finally find out what Tencel was. Just wanted you to know that there are those of us out here who are sensitive to man made fibres (like acrylic, polyester, nylon, etc., but not the ones based on cellulose. They all make me tremendously itchy, and hot, and I cannot stand the feel of them, even in a blend, against my skin. Only natural fibres for me, whether plant or animal.

I'm glad there are lots of choices for both of us. And I am glad to find new sources of both hemp and silk yarns.

For extra-sharp pointed needles in size 0, check out the Knit Picks circs and their Harmony circs. I have a set of KP Options and one set of Harmony tips (gorgeous, btw) -- they all have very nice sharp points. I've never used Addi lace needles, but I know for a fact that the KP needles are sharper than regular Addies. Go, you!

No, no, no. Don't you see the label on the Addi packaging? It CLEARLY says that you will "KNIT FASTER" with Addis!

Notice it doesn't say faster than what.

Just an alternative to the p1, k1, p1 which you can go ahead and ignore, but why don't you slip 1 st at each side EOR. that would make it fold too and might be less obvious. Just a thought. Hope you're well. Enjoy the year of knitting.
