If so, how can I join and where could I find more specifics?
Thanks,
/RochelleYosemitehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03799690313829598131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6112978.post-1180401279336081532007-05-31T03:00:00.000-04:002007-05-31T03:00:00.000-04:00You've been a baaad influence, Amy! I spent a good chunk of my afternoon in the local rock-and-gem-and-silver shop, looking at expensive cabs (drool), affordable-but-less-lovely beads (weep)... and I wound up buying a couple glass lumps, a teeny piece of tile, and some wire.. then headed off to Button Button, a Vancouver mecca of unique buttonage, and I snagged a couple vintage buttons that I am going to bezel-set into a ring for myself!

(your blue stuff is quite nice, though, and I thought of you every time I looked at it in the store!)Christa Gileshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15894509500416347034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6112978.post-87562956230308635782007-05-30T22:54:00.000-04:002007-05-30T22:54:00.000-04:00Hey there Amy! I'm a few posts behind...but I noticed your seasilk post - I just finished a stole design (you can see it here: http://gbellaknits.blogspot.com/2007/05/catalina-shawl-pattern.html) knitted up in Handmaiden LACE silk - another one of their amazing amazing yarn lines - gorgeous drape. For real, this yarn totally made me think of you and your no-sheepiness - you must try it. The best selection of colors, I think, is at www.colorsongyarn.com ~gabriella :)gabriellahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15329630099129219843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6112978.post-1861693129932520352007-05-30T13:07:00.000-04:002007-05-30T13:07:00.000-04:00Off topic: Have you seen this vendor? http://www.h...Off topic: Have you seen this vendor? http://www.hollyeqq.com/index.html

She sells hand-dyed non-wool rovings, including tencel, bamboo, and silk.

I am not her nor do I work for her. Just another non-wool spinner. There aren't very many sources for non-wool hand-dyed rovings out there, so I thought I'd pass along the link.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6112978.post-1356848221073859892007-05-30T09:59:00.000-04:002007-05-30T09:59:00.000-04:00Bezels always start out that way. Wait until you ...Bezels always start out that way. Wait until you start working with pierced bezels and you've got sharpie all over the out side with drill bevels everywhere; that's when you start to wonder if it'll turn out like you planned. I love watching bezels transform into gleaming little pieces of perfection. That Chalcedony is really pretty, you might like it's druzy form as well. All sparkely milky blue. :)

cheers, and can't wait to see the final piece!Daniellehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12819865609102421765noreply@blogger.com
