Rachel then headed to Rico's to have her make-up done. Rachel & Ryan's colors were a mix of fall colors. The flowers were done by Dillon's with a mix of deep yellow roses with dark red edges, orange lilies and berries. The pew bows included pheasant feathers and silk maple leaves.

Rachel wore the same pearl necklace and garter that her Mom wore at her wedding. The candlelight ceremony was held at Riverlawn Christian Church. After the ceremony, the couple exited the church to a shower of rose petals. Then, we headed to Oak Park with the couple and wedding party for some outdoor fall shots before heading to Corporate Caterers for the reception.

Rachel & Ryan's wedding cake was a beautiful four tiered cake with each layer being a different fall color with white piping and topped with a mixed flower arrangement. The groom's cake was in the shape of a wave runner with a "Just Married" tag on the back.

Even though Rachel & Ryan work for the same hospital, these two never would've met if it weren't for the help of an online dating service. It just goes to show you that they really can work and people really do find true love. Just take one look at Rachel & Ryan and you'll see proof of that.

Rachel & Ryan, it was such a pleasure getting to witness your day and your love.

Congratulations!
Cheryl & Brett

bretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06299829199677236345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6094204286587244350.post-12072851292807420512008-12-05T08:17:00.000-08:002008-12-05T08:18:49.099-08:00Christmas DeadlineWe wanted to post that our Christmas deadline is December 12th (next Friday) to guarantee any orders that are needed for Christmas to be delivered. Kim & Joe's colors were pink and blue with burgandy accents. Most of the flowers were done by the Flower Factory and included roses, lilies, and stephanotis. The rest of the flowers and decorations were done by Joe's step-mom.

Kim wore a beautiful square diamond necklace and earrings that were gifts from Joe. Her something blue was her Grandma's rosary, and her something borrowed was her other Grandmother's wedding ring. Kim's two nieces were the flower girls and Joe's two nephews were the ring beareres. The ceremony went off without a hitch with Fr. York giving the couple some great words of wisdom. After the ceremony, we headed to the Nature Center and Bradley Fair for some outdoor shots with the couple and wedding party.

After the couple was announced into the reception by DJ Mark Mazur at the Beech Activity Center, they were surprised by their family with a video. After dinner and the traditional cake cutting and toasts, Kim surprised everyone by giving the toss bouquet to her mother, with the most touching speech, instead of the tradition bouquet toss. It was one of the sweetest, most touching moments that we've been honored to witness and I don't think there were many dry eyes after Kim's speech and her cousin's song to their Grandpa.

Kim & Joe, thank you for letting us document your day, we had a great time sharing in your day.

Thanks again,
Cheryl & Brett

bretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06299829199677236345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6094204286587244350.post-47082988081488271032008-11-25T06:50:00.000-08:002008-11-25T06:53:18.108-08:00Alesha & Ryan MartinOctober 4, 2008

Click Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Alesha started her wedding day early at Charisma salon where she works with her friends/co-workers doing all the girls' hair and make-up. Once they were ready, we traveled to St. Peter's Church in Schulte, Ks. Alesha & Ryan's colors were black and hot pink, the bridesmaids wore black gowns and carried bouquets of hot pink roses with rhinestone insets done by Susan's Flowers.

Just after Alesha was ready, Ryan's wedding gift to her arrived - it was a beautifully delicate silver bracelet with diamonds and light blue stones for her something blue. Alesha & Ryan chose to see each other before the ceremony giving us plenty of time for the formal pictures with the families and wedding party. They had also planned to take some outdoor shots after their nuptial mass but, unfortunately the strong Kansas winds kept us from being able to do much outside.

After being pronounced as husband and wife by Fr. Andy Kuykendall, Alesha & Ryan headed across the parking lot to the reception at the school. Alesha, her mom, friends and other family members did a great job decorating the reception area with black and white table clothes and tons of vases of hot pink roses and candles. They also set up a coloring table for the kids and a candy bar which was a huge hit with all the kids - big & little.

Dinner was catered by Syl's and served in time for guests to attend Sat. evening mass before the dance began. After the formal dances, it was time for the garter and bouquet tosses. I have to say this was definately a first for us to witness - there were so many kids around the dance floor to watch the tosses that a little boy ended up catching the bouquet which was hilarious! But, what made it even better was that his sister ended up catching the garter - LOL!

Alesha & Ryan, it was a lot of fun for us to document your day. We appreciated the generosity of you and your families - they were all so wonderful to us and made us feel so welcomed. Our wish for you is that you continue with the example your parents have shown you "to laugh, love and appreciate all life has to offer."

Thanks again & God Bless,
Cheryl & Brett

bretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06299829199677236345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6094204286587244350.post-48202334390355323532008-11-21T08:48:00.001-08:002008-11-21T08:56:41.185-08:00Chris And KristinSept. 27, 2008

Click Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

We started the day very early making our way to Huchinson by 6:00 am to meet Kristin at O'Hairas salon where she and her bridesmaids were getting their hair and make-up done. Kristin was so excited that she didn't need any coffee to stay wide awake despite the early start. When someone asked her why she chose to have a morning wedding, she said it was because brunch was her favorite meal of the day and she wanted to have a brunch reception. While the girls were getting ready, Brett met the guys at Starbucks for breakfast & coffee. Chris was just as excited as Kristin and don't think he stopped smiling the entire day. Kristin's aunts and uncle had made and set up a wonderful breakfast buffet for the wedding party and family since they had to be at the church so early for pictures that was very much appreciated by all.

Kristin & Chris chose not to see each other before the ceremony but were able to send their wedding gifts to each other. Kristin's was a gratitude journal that she had been writing all the reasons she's grateful for Chris for the last few years. And Chris gave Kristin a large wooden jewelry box with a pair of diamond earrings. As beautiful as they were, it was the rest of the things he put in the box that made it so special - a note, picture and menu from their favorite restaurant.

The wedding was at Emanuel Lutheran Church and it was decorated beautifully with candelabras lining the aisle with two small glass bulbs filled with flowers hanging down and tied with ribbon. As beautiful as everything was from the flowers to the dresses, it was the music that made their ceremony so unique and special. Chris's sister Jeanne, brother-in-law Michael and their friend Rob were the most incredible musicians with a variety of instruments including the flute, keyboards, acoustic guitar, hammered dulcimer, marimba and bodhran (which is an Irish drum). Instead of the traditional procession, Kristin entered to "Come Thou Fount" b y Sara Groves. But, my most favorites song was when Kristin & Chris lit the unity candle to "I Am" by Nichole Nordeman. (If you have a chance to download this song - you'll love it - it's the perfect wedding song!)

After the wedding, we finished taking pictures at the church and then headed to Prairie Dunnes for the reception. The brunch buffet was incredible with the best strawberry cream cheese filled french toast! After the reception, we headed out on the golf course with Chris, Kristin and the wedding party to get some fun, informal shots. Then we headed to Dillon's nature center with Chris & Kristin to finish up with some pictures of the couple. We were so glad Kristin & Chris took the extra time with us to get some great shots that we wouldn't have time for if they hadn't planned it ahead of time. Thank you Kristin & Chris for including us in your day and for making us feel so welcomed. We had a great time documenting your day. We know you'll have a great time in Hawaii so when you get back and have a chance, you'll have to send us a link to your brother's Facebook page so we can check out his pics too. We got a real kick out of his excitement taking pics. We feel the same way when we shoot!

Congrats again & God Bless,
Cheryl & Brett

bretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06299829199677236345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6094204286587244350.post-81196970283281628612008-10-09T07:30:00.001-07:002008-10-09T16:14:29.136-07:00CANVAS DISCOUNT!!!!!For those of you that love our canvas prints and are looking to have one hang in your house we have a special running now. When Kacie arrived at the salon she was carrying her new Coach purse Alex had gotten her as a wedding gift. Since Kacie's a "purse girl" it was the perfect gift. And when Alex said she was totally worth it - it was the sweetest thing he could've said. Once the girls were all done with their hair, we headed to The Powerhouse in Derby where the girls finished getting ready and the ceremony was to take place.

While the girls were getting their hair done, the guys met up at WSU golf course for a round of golf and window breaking. Yes, some how Alex found a way to hook the ball into the street, one bounce and through a window of one of the houses. Despite this they all seemed to have a great time.

Kacie & Alex had chosen a variety of jewel toned colors for their wedding colors. Each of the girls' dresses were a different color and their beautiful wildflower bouquets were each wrapped with the same material as their dresses. The combination of colors was beautiful and totally unique to Kacie & Alex.
The aisle was lined with candles and after walking his mom down the aisle, Alex came back to walk Kacie's mom down the aisle. Just before they made their way to the front of the church, Alex looked at his mother-in-law to be, placed his hand over hers and sweezed it with so much love that it spoke volumes. By the time Kacie & her dad were ready to walk down the aisle, all of the guests were caught up in their moment after watching their love story video just prior to the procession.

After the ceremony, the girls put on their fun Converse chucks shoes as we headed to a family friend's backyard to get some terrific outdoor shots with Kacie, Alex and the wedding party. Then we all headed to Derby High School for the reception where the guests were enjoying a delicious buffet done by another family friend. After the cake was cut and toasts were made it was time for the dance to begin. Followed by the garter and bouquet toss with one of the most hilarious entrances we've ever seen with one of Kacie's friends/bridesmaid dressed in shoulder pads and helmet over her formal dress making an NFL type of entrance.

Kacie & Alex, we had such a great time documenting your day and getting a chance to witness your love for each other as well as your families. With the strong examples you both have in your parents, we're sure that you'll have many happy years together.

Congratulations again,
Cheryl & Brett

bretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06299829199677236345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6094204286587244350.post-16234858672714026022008-09-14T15:36:00.000-07:002008-10-28T15:38:22.801-07:00Rene & AdamClick Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Sept. 14, 2008

We started the day by heading in opposite directions: Cheryl to the Hyatt to meet Rene and the girls as they had brunch and Brett to the Ark Valley Gun Club where Adam and the guys were skeet shooting. While the guys were still shooting, Rene and the girls headed to Lindsey's (one of Rene's friends and stylist) home where she has a salon. Once they were ready, the ladies all headed to Botanica to slip into their dresses and start with the pictures.

Since the garden area was still soaked from all the rain we received this week in Wichita, Rene & Adam chose to have the wedding on the patio where they had accents of their wedding colors, hot pink and black. The flowers were done by Stems, the bridesmaids carried hot pink Gerber daisies while Rene's bouquet was a beautiful mixed arrangement that was wrapped with material from her mom's wedding dress.

As the beautiful sound of the harp filled the cool evening, it was time for the ceremony to begin and Rene made her way down the long walkway to her anxious groom. Rene's brother, Chris and Adam's sister, Melissa, did the readings. Instead of a unity candle, the couple combined two colors of sand filled at the beginning of the ceremony by their mothers, to form their own unique design. It was a lovely garden ceremony and a beautiful night. Once we finished with the pictures, it was time for the dinner, catered by Corporate Caterers, followed by the first dances, and garter and bouquet tosses.

Rene & Adam, it is such an honor to now share the same anniversary date with you guys. We hope that the years fly by as fast for you as they have for us. Thank you again for the bottle of wine, it was a very thoughtful and much appreciated. Also, thank you to your families for helping us celebrate our anniversary as we shared your day with you - it meant a lot to us - thanks especially to Cynda & Dawn! Also, I had to give a shout out to Ashley, Rene's Bridal Assistant, for following us throughout Botanica to help keep Rene's dress looking beautiful. And as always, it was great working with Pat & Judy from Judy Hadley Productions who were doing the videography and Ron Brown with Another Dimension who was the DJ.

Congrats again Rene & Adam - we hope Sept. 14 is as good to you as it has been to us!
~Cheryl & Brett

bretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06299829199677236345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6094204286587244350.post-26817189161430477442008-08-31T09:24:00.000-07:002008-10-16T09:26:54.803-07:00Andrea and DevinClick Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

We started the day meeting Andrea and the girls at Eric Fisher Salon where they were getting their hair done. Once the girls were ready, they headed to the Grand Chapel to finish getting ready. We had a little bit of time to take pictures of Devin with his family and the guys and Andrea with her family and bridesmaids before the ceremony began. Andrea & Devin's colors were burgandy and green with a wine theme, expressing their love for touring vineyards. The flowers were red roses and pink lilies done by Moore's Flowers. Andrea's bouquet included a small bunch of grapes and hydrangias.
As the wedding party entered the chapel and the ceremony began, Devin's uncle played the harp. The couple had two touching readings including a poem titled "Why Marriage" and one from "The Velveteen Rabbit". Once Andrea & Devin were pronounce Mr & Mrs, the guest exited the chapel and headed downstairs to the reception area while we finished up the pictures. Due to the heat & humidity, the couple chose not to go outside for pictures before heading downstairs where they were announced in by Andrea's brother who is a DJ with AMM.
The reception area was decorated with wine bottles and grape centerpieces that Andrea & Devin have collected on their travels. Dinner was served by Corporate Caters and the delicious cake with a different flavor for every layer was made the The Eaton's bakery. After dinner and slideshow, it was time for the dance to begin.
When one of the couple's friends told them what a beautiful couple they made, Devin replied with one the sweetest comments by saying, "She makes me look good!" it was obvious that Devin's statement came from his heart because he said it without hesitation. Andrea & Devin - it was such an honor to witness & document your day and love for each other. The quote on your program says it all, "Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust. Love still stands when all else has fallen" 1Corinthians 12:7-8 We don't need to tell you to have a great time in Hawaii but, we do wish you both the endurance of love!
Congratulations again!
~Brett & Cheryl

bretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06299829199677236345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6094204286587244350.post-87972371875725441732008-08-29T10:53:00.000-07:002008-08-29T10:54:11.413-07:00Website updateJust a quick notice, we will be moving our blogs and website to a new host company over the next week or so. Carla & Omero's colors were platinum and pink with their ten bridesmaids wearing platinum gowns and carrying beautiful pink bouquets created by Susan's Flowers. The couple's daughter Daisy was the junior bridesmaid and wore a pink dress and carried a bouquet of pink gerber daisies.
The nuptial mass was officiated by Fr. Jerome Beat and after he announced the couple husband and wife, a mariachi band played as they exited the sanctuary. The band also played outside while the wedding guests lined the steps to blow bubbles at the couple as the made their way to the limo. After finishing the pictures in the church we headed to the Hyatt for the reception.
When we arrived at the grand eagle ballroom at the Hyatt, we were amazed by how incredible everything looked. There were amazing floral centerpieces by Susan's, a beautiful cake by Cheri's Bakery topped with a silver B, pink and platinum draped chairs with contrasting bows and a pink draped wall behind the raised head table. We were so glad that Carla & Omero had planned time for us to take outdoor pictures of them around the Hyatt. We were even able to head back outside for some sunset pictures with them after dinner.
Carla & Omero were announced into the reception by the Los Sandovalls De San Luis band. The band made all the announcements in spanish so were were grateful to one of Carla's bridesmaids who translated for us. One of the highlights of the reception was the unique way the couple started the bouquet and garter tosses. The single men & women formed "conga" type lines as the couple stood on chairs facing each other a few feet apart and being supported by their parents and maid of honor, Adele. Carla & Omero held a long ribbon that the lines ran under (the women first and then the men) as they made their way around the room and eventually ended surrounding the couple.
Carla & Omero thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your day. After 13 years together, we can only wish you many more happy years as husband and wife.
Thanks again & God Bless,
Brett & Cheryl
P. S. Lisa then headed to Beau Monde Spa to have her make-up done and finally to the church, Hillside Christian Church, to finish getting ready. Lisa had gotten her Cathedral length gown from Accent Bridal and she said it was one of the reasons she was glad they chose to have a big church wedding. Lisa was so grateful to her mom and sister Tara for all the help in planning their wedding, she said she couldn't have done it without them. Lisa decided to play up her fun side by wearing red heels that matched the bridesmaids dresses.

Justin told Lisa he wanted to wear a tux instead of his Marine dress uniform since he only gets to wear a tux once, for his wedding. Justin is a recruiter for the Marines and most of his friends and groomsmen traveled a long way to come celebrate this day with them. Justin's best man, Randy Batman, was one of Jeff and Tyff's former grooms. Even some of Lisa friends traveled from a great distance to share in their day. Lisa's two sisters were the maid and matron of honor.
The church was decorated beautifully with candles lining the aisle and three large candelabras at the alter. They were all decorated with red and white roses and calla lilies by Susan's Flowers. There were candles at the front of the sanctuary in honor of their grandparents who have passed. The wedding was officiated by Lisa's aunt, Reverend Debbie Elwick, which meant a lot to Lisa and her family. Since the couple had chosen not to see each other before the ceremony, we took all the formal pictures with the couple afterward while the guests headed to the reception at Terradyne Country Club.

Once we were done with the formal pictures, we all headed to the reception where we took a few minutes for some shots with the couple and wedding party on the golf course before they were announced in. The theme at the reception was black and white polka dots with touches of red. Even the wedding cake, made by Cameo Cakes, had polka dots.
Lisa and Justin headed straight to the cake table and then on to the toasts since their guests had already eaten. Once, they finally had a chance to get a bite to eat, they made their rounds to their guests to personally thank them for coming. Then, it was time for the dance to begin and the night just flew by. It was great getting to visit with Megan and Nick, our bride and groom from a few weeks ago, and Megan's parents.
Lisa & Justin, It was such an honor to document your day despite the 100+ degree heat - you guys were great. We're sure you'll enjoy your time in the Bahamas relaxing on the beach.

~Brett & Cheryl

bretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06299829199677236345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6094204286587244350.post-2523769317660544092008-07-21T20:10:00.001-07:002008-07-21T20:10:08.499-07:00Bridal Expo 2008News:
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dTxamtKvsqg/SIVO_AMnsiI/AAAAAAAAAIg/CInMfYEi_JI/s400/061.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225669786924986914" />
We are letting all our Bride-to-Be's and Groom-to-Be's know that we will be at the Bridal Fair located in the Exhibition Hall at Century II this weekend, July 26 & 27. While Brett was hanging out with the guys, Cheryl met Allison and the girls downtown at The Perfect Touch Salon where Allison's cousin, Kristen, did her hair. Then, we all met back up at the Old Town Courtyard Marriott where everyone was getting ready and we were able to take some pics downtown before heading to the church, Faith Lutheran Church, in Derby, Ks for the wedding.

Throughout the day, Erik had given different friends or family members special photo cards to hand deliver to Allison bringing a huge smile to her face every time she got one. It was one of the sweetest, most thoughtful and romantic things we've had one of our grooms do! (Sorry guys, Erik set the bar pretty high, it's going to be tough to beat!) The last one arrived right before Allison was to walk down the aisle to her anxious groom. Allison kept each one private but, the last one brought a few tears to her eyes.

After the ceremony, we headed to the park with the wedding party and families to take all the "formal pics" since the couple didn't want to take them in the church. While we were taking pictures, the wedding guests headed to the Courtyard Marriott for cocktail hour where they were able to visit and look through photo albums of the couple, including the engagement album we had made for them and one Erik made for Allison that read "Mr. & Mrs." on the front cover. Once the couple made it back to the hotel, they thanked their guests for coming and invited them to join them upstairs for dinner catered by Larkspur. The tables were decorated with pink gerber daisies, children's quotes about love and delicious chocolate truffles handmade by the couple.
At the end of the night, we headed to the fountains in OId Town to take a few fun shots of the couple. Allison wanted to take some shots in the water but, Erik had reservations about it. However, once Erik picked up Allison and ran through the fountains he was smiling from ear to ear.

Allison & Erik, we had such a great time documenting your day especially the fountain shots! Due to the rain, which Megan believes brings good luck on your wedding day, the guys scratched their plans to hang out at All Star Sports. So, we met up with them at the church, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, once the girls were ready. The church looked beautiful and was decorated with ribbons, beads and flowers by Susan's Flowers.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_d8DgxPjXkgQ/SJd1OGgmkyI/AAAAAAAAAAM/f1ZxJfDZGY8/s400/1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230778377340097314" />

Megan & Nick's color was persimmon and the color was found in all the details from the dresses, flowers, and pew bows to the ribbon tied bubbles. The nuptial mass was celebrated by Fr. Spexarth and two other priest who were all close to the families. The couple exited the church to a sea of bubbles.
The reception was held at the Wichita County Club and before being announced in by DJ Ron Brown with Another Dimension we were able to take some shots of the couple and wedding party out on the golf course.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_d8DgxPjXkgQ/SJd19jze_UI/AAAAAAAAAAU/OSS0DTR0U5M/s400/3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230779192657771842" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_d8DgxPjXkgQ/SJd2bm500qI/AAAAAAAAAAc/kteNC4a6rS4/s400/2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230779708885750434" />

It was great having the use of the golf carts for the entire wedding party to make taking the outside shots go a lot faster. Megan & Nick used one of their engagement pictures to have glass coasters with their photo as an inset made for the party favors. They were placed on all the tables and of course we loved them.
After the cake was cut, toasts were made, first dances, bouquet & garter tosses were all out of the way, the party was on. It was a great day and a pleasure getting to document it for Megan & Nick. After their long courtship, it's obvious that their day was all they had hoped it would be. It was also great seeing one of our future bride and grooms, Lisa & Justin - see you guys again in a couple of weeks. Congratulations again Megan & Nick and thanks for letting us share your day with you!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_d8DgxPjXkgQ/SJd2m5it7UI/AAAAAAAAAAk/j9lZgr3noSQ/s400/4.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230779902867664194" />

~Brett & Cheryl

bretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06299829199677236345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6094204286587244350.post-37971055407492607692008-07-05T16:24:00.000-07:002008-08-01T16:43:02.945-07:00Kelsi & JacobClick Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Click Here to pre-register and receive an e-mail to view the remaining wedding pictures when they are available.

We left late on the 4th heading north to Sabetha, Kansas for Kelsi & Jacob's wedding. Early the next morning we met Jacob and the guys at the Sabetha Country Club Golf Course where they were going to play a round of golf before heading the the church to get ready.
While the guys were playing golf, Kelsi and the girls were at the church getting their hair and make-up done.

Kelsi & Jacob had chosen the incredibly fun, vibrate and joyful colors of pink and green as their wedding colors and they were in every amazing detail that the couple spent so much time and effort planning everything to the smallest detail. Kelsi had included her signature fun polka dots in many of the details including the bouquet ribbons, wedding cake and hand stenciled signs on the reception tables.

After the lovely ceremony highlighted by a touching video of the couple, every one entered the reception hall at the church through a canopied doorway with stenciling that read "Happy Ever After". Once ready, the girls headed to the church, First Bible Baptist Church to finish getting ready. Thanks to Ashley's detailed planning and the help of the wedding coordinators at the church, we were able to make sure Ashley & Jacob didn't run into each other before the ceremony as we took pictures of the girls and guys separately around the church. The church was simply but elegantly decorated with candles and flowers. The colors of the wedding were blue, yellow and green. The girls wore aqua blue short strapless dresses with a lace sash at the waist. The flowergirl's dress was made by Ashley's mom and matched Ashley's gown. All the ladies carried beautiful bouquets with yellow and white roses and lilies.
During the ceremony, there were a few special touches that showed Ashley & Jacob's fun personalities, including jumping off the stage after being announced husband and wife. One of the surprises was pulled by one of the best men (Jacob's three brother's were all best men) as he handed Jacob a large light up ring, or as the paster called it the "bling, bling ring" instead of the real ring.

After the wedding, the guests received hand dyed paper cones full of bird seed & rice to shower the couple with as they exited the church. We headed to Bradley Fair with the couple to take a few outdoor shots before heading to the reception. Ashley couldn't wait to get to the reception to see the wedding cake which her mom had made. Cheryl met Cassi and her Mom at the Style Expressions salon where she was getting her hair done,

while Brett met David and the guys at Carey Park to capture the fun the guys were having playing a round of disc golf. Then it was off the the church, First Assembly of God, where the girls were getting ready.

A friend of the family did all the decorating at the church and the girl's flowers which consisted of white roses and calalillies. The girls each carried a special handkerchief that showed their fun personalities and were tucked into their bouquets. Since Cassi & David chose to see each other before the ceremony, we were able to head across the street from the church to take a few outside shots with the couple and wedding party.
As Cassi was escorted down the aisle by her dad, she and David made their secret "I love you" signs to each other. After the ceremony, the couple exited to a shower of Party Popper streamers as they made their way to David bright blue Mustang.

Before heading to the reception, we went back to Carey Park where we got some amazing shots.

Then, it was off the the State Fairgrounds where the reception was being held in the Domestic Arts Building. The couple, along with friends and family had spent a lot of time transforming the building into a beautiful reception site. Once the couple was introduced, cut the cake, did the traditional dances and threw the bouquet and garter, the party was on.
We had a great time hanging out with Cassi, David, their families and friends and learning about their amazing courtship (starting in grade school where they met on the same playground that David ended up proposing to Cassi). Congratulations to you guys and good luck on your move in a few weeks. We know you'll have a relaxing time in Hawaii on your honeymoon. Thank you again for letting us into your lives to share your day.
~Brett & Cheryl

bretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06299829199677236345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6094204286587244350.post-90095029610588104712008-06-07T14:23:00.000-07:002008-07-07T14:55:41.697-07:00Mandi & AndrewClick Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Click Here to pre-register and receive an e-mail to view the remaining wedding pictures when they are available.

We started the day meeting Mandi and the girls at Salon Knotty where Mandi worked. After getting their hair done, it was time to head to the church (Evangel Assembly of God) for the girls to finish getting ready and to retouch their hair due to the incredibly strong Kansas winds.
The flowers were created by J.R. Koontz and consisted of beautiful arrangements of while lilies, roses, and stephanotis. They looked incredible and they were exactly what Mandi had imagined them to be.

Mandi and Andrew chose to see each other before the ceremony and wanted their family and friends to share in their moment. After the formal portraits, it was time for the ceremony to begin. It was a bittersweet moment for both families since Andrew and Mandi will be moving to California when they get back from their honeymoon.

After the ceremony, the couple exited to a windy shower of bubbles. The couple was introduced at the reception held at The Petroleum Club. We were able to get some cool shots around the building since it was too windy to do any outdoor shots. Instead of the traditional wedding cake, the couple opted for an oreo cheesecake wedding cake and dessert bar with their favorite pies, including the groom's favorite lemon meringue.

We were so honored to be chosen to document Mandi & Andrew's wedding since Mandi's dad has worked many of the wedding fairs. It was a very touching day to witness the emotion of both families as they celebrated the love and commitment that Mandi and Andrew share as they begin this new chapter. Thank you for letting us into your lives to share one of the most important days in your lives. Once they were ready, we headed to First Christian Church in Derby for the ceremony. The church was nicely decorated with candles lining the aisle and a huge bouquet on the alter. Brooke's bouquet was done by the Flower Factory with uniquely beautiful green roses.
During the ceremony, everyone was surprised after Brooke's dad stated he & her mom gave her away, and then her dad's fellow police officers and friends announced that they did too. After the ceremony, the couple greeted their guests by ushering them out of the pews, getting a chance to thank everyone personally for coming to share their day with them.
After the ceremony, the couple met us near the Keeper of the Plains which was right next to Exploration Place where the reception was taking place and their guests where enjoying dinner catered by Blue Moon. Barry & Steph with Fat Cat Productions where also there to help document their day. Becca had her hair done in a timeless style with a pink peony tucked in back instead of a veil. Later, Barry & Brett headed to Northrock Lanes to capture Jacob and the guys hanging out & bowling a few frames before meeting back up with everyone at the Scottish Rite Temple where the wedding and reception took place.

The ceremony took place in the auditorium where the alter was decorated beautifully with candles and flowers. The flowers were done by Moore's Flowers and consisted of the most fragrant pink roses, peonies, hydrangeas and a multitude of other flowers. They smelled as beautiful as they looked (which says a lot). The aisle was lined with pink rose petals as Jacob saw Becca for the first time. Jacob got very choked up during the very personal and lovely ceremony. The minister has seen Becca grow up and had gotten to know Jacob through the many years that they've dated making it a very touching ceremony. After the ceremony, the couple and wedding party rode the trolley downtown where Brett, Alex and Steph were able to do some fun shots with the couple and show their fun loving personalities. During this time, their guests were enjoying the chocolate fountain with Cero's delicious chocolate.

After entering down the grand staircase and being announced in by Ron Brown with Another Dimension, the couple and wedding guests were entertained by the "Love Story" Barry & Steph and done of the couple telling how they met and how Jacob proposed. It was hilarious and definitely showcased their personalities and relationship. Of course, the highlight was seeing Becca's dad dance in the video.
The couple greeted their guests as they made their way through the buffet line, catered by Tony Dee's Catering. The couple barely had a chance to eat when it was time for toasts and for the dance to get started. Once the dance started, the party was in full swing.
Becca & Jacob, it was an honor to document your day.
~Brett, Cheryl & Alex

bretthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06299829199677236345noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6094204286587244350.post-37929989354153124312008-05-23T18:03:00.000-07:002008-06-16T08:53:36.865-07:00Kimmy & AnthonyClick Here to view the Debut Trailer of the wedding day.

Click Here to pre-register and receive an e-mail to view the remaining wedding pictures when they are available.

Friday started off with a bang, literally, I met up with Anthony, his dad, and Canon (a groomsman) at the sporting clays range for a round of shooting before the wedding. It was a great time, and even though the wind was making the targets fly pretty erratic, all the guys were able to hit quite a few. After the shooting was over I headed to Cheveaux salon to meet up with the ladies for hair and makeup.

Once all was done, we headed to Central Christian Church to finish getting ready, take the formal portraits, and of course, the ceremony. The church was decorated beautifully with a large arbor adorned with flowers. Kimmy's mom and one of her friends did an excellent job with most of the decorations. Kimmy's bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets and all the other fresh flowers were done by Susan's Florals.

After the ceremony, the couple left to a shower of bubbles and since the kids had bubble guns they produced a ton of bubbles. The couple drove away in a bright yellow Corvette. We stopped at Bradley Fair to take a few pics before heading the The Villa in Andover for the reception. And luckily, the police didn't give Anthony a speeding ticket after seeing Kimmy in her wedding dress. The couple was introduced down the grand staircase. They went straight to the cake table and then had a chance to mingle with their guests before finally getting a bite to eat and starting the dance. The night flew by and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Kimmy & Anthony, thank you so much for letting us be part of your day.
