Some of the third graders at Meadowview are doing an assignment about Native American Shields. Luckily, we have found a website that gives a pretty good explanation of the importance of shields to Native Americans. You can check it out here. (And, of course, we will add a link under the Native American section of links to the left.) You can learn how to make your own shield here.
