Summer is the time to be fit

Finally, it's summer. I love summer! I am an outdoor person, that is why I love summer so much coz there are lots of things that can be done outside. Of course, who would not missed the water. The most cool thing to do during summer is being the water. Which means we need to be in shape so that we can wear all those bikinis in the beach. Or even just going outside the mall, we wanted to wear something that shows a lot of skin, like shorts, tanks, etc. At least, that's what I like.

Dog Adoption

These past few months, we've been going to the animal shelters because we are planning to adopt a dog.

My son has been really responsible in taking care of the cats--feeding them and petting them regularly. Couple of months ago, we asked him if he wants to have his own pet. He said yes and he wants a puppy. So we visited a few animal shelters to see if we can find a dog that he likes. Then we found an American Pit Bull Terrier who is like a month old. He is a pretty active dog and pretty huge too. But Abi loves him so much and they got along pretty well. Though he is not yet ready for adoption coz he just had his knee surgery.

That was two weeks ago when we last visited him. Then yesterday we called and asked how's the dog been doing and check when he would be ready for adoption. They said, it would be pretty soon coz right now he is just taking Rimadyl. So his surgery is healed now but before they would have him for adoption, they needed to make sure that he has fully recovered.

It is best to go to animal shelters if you wanted to have a pet coz it is cheaper and you are sure about the animal's health.

As almost everyone already knew that Las Vegas is one of the best vacation spot if you're looking for fun--parties, bars, gambling, stage shows, etc. There are just lots of things to do in there, mostly for night fun. I have never been to Vegas but we (hubby and I) are planning to go there. When? We don't know yet. My husband had been there before, with his parents and sister, so he told me about the things that are in there.

The other day, I was watching 20/20 show on WEtv channel and it was about being attacked and murdered in the comfort of their home. Desktop Vs. Laptop

There has been some arguments regarding which is more convenient, laptop or desktop. Actually, both has their own advantages and disadvantage. And it would also on your own needs. Like for example, if you need something that you can easily carry around, whether just around the house or wherever you wanna go, then you needed laptop then cos most of them nowadays comes with wireless adapter (receiver). It's better if you already got a wireless modem or router in your house so that you than you can easily connect to the Internet and have your own secured network. Now, if you want faster and dependable, usually desktops are better than laptop cos normally desktop comes with bigger disk space than laptops. Plus the compact design of the laptop affects it's important.

Like I said, it depends on what you need and prefer. As for me, I found lots of good desktops cheaper than laptops. Don't get me wrong, there are good laptops and cheap laptops too but usually the cheaper ones don't perform real good and the good ones isn't that affordable.

Healthy way of losing weight

Here I am again with my rants about losing weight. I guess I'd be posting more about it now because I have finally decided to stop gaining more weight. Well, one of the reasons why I've gained weight so fast is my husband. Yes, him, for spoiling me too much. If I'll say I want this, I'll have it right away. And I was living with it until the other day when I realized that I'm not getting healthier. So, now I have my new motto: Eat healthy and Live healthy, and I will do my very best to stick to that. I know for sure that I can do it cos my husband is there to support, cos he knew how it feels and how to do it properly.

He used to gain twice as his weight now but when he found that he has diabetes, he knew he needs to control what he eats which resulted to what his body now. He didn't use any weight loss pills, but just eating healthy and right and that's what I'm gonna do too. In fact, he doesn't bring me soda now like what he used to, instead, I have my nightly big cup of cranberry juice.

Wondering about my job

Lazy, lazy, lazy ... That's what I'm feeling right now. I have been sitting in the computer for most part of the day but too lazy to make a post on my blog. One thing that interests me to do though, updating the list of the VisaJourney AOS (adjustment of status) Filers for March 2009, but there is no update to put on it right now, so I'm waiting and hopefully I will have update for myself regarding my application.

Talking about adjustment of status, I am so glad that finally, I was able to apply for it and hopefully I will receive my work authorization in couple of months from now. Right now, I am wondering what could be the first I will have here in the US. For some reason, I would like to go through sales training, but I'm not yet decided right now. And for sure, I can't be as lazy as what I am feeling right now if I wanted a good job.

I have been selling apparel online on Ebay and on my own humble online storefront. I like selling apparels but I saw the disadvantage of it, especially for clothes and shows, is the size difference. But I know for sure that bigger sizes are most sellable here in the US, or at least for my buyer. When I bought my stock, I had each and every size but I just end up selling the large ones and still have the small ones in my stockroom.

Because of that, I wanted to try selling other things that doesn't require sizes such as bags, jewelries, toys and let's see where it goes.

These past few days, I have been seeing a lot of garage sales everywhere here in Austin, Pflugerville, and Round Rock, Texas. In fact, a few of our neighbors are doing their own garage sales too which gave me an idea of doing the same thing cos we have a lot of stuffs are not useless but can still be useful to anyone such as extra pans, clothes, shoes, tapes, etc.

I never thought that I'd actually earn online until I started to. Since I got my own computer and had internet connection at home, I then surf all the through and understand how business online works and what are the ways to earn by just staying at home and as you all know, there are million ways to do that now. Then, when I started earning, I share it with the best way I can to those people who wants to do the same, especially my friends. So, here are the list of things that I do for me to earn online.

Blog. Just like what I'm doing now. But that doesn't mean that each time you make a post on blog, you earn. With blogging itself, there lots of ways to earn. And by far, this is the easiest way for me to earn.
Affiliate Programs. If you have a blog, or a website, then you have advantage if you join these programs. You can also earn from them through emails and other means of communication online such as IM, etc. Basically, you would help a company to gain traffic and make sales as an affiliate.
Online Surveys. Who said you can't earn from this? Maybe, those who are lazy enough to fill up long forms, etc. I admit that I am lazy about this but you can surely earn by just answering necessary surveys. It is also one of my many ways to past time.
Pay-per-click. You would basically be paid by clicking links provided to you, as easy as that. But it's a slow process cos each link cost less than a cent, unless you'd religiously check everyday and see if there's something to click.
eBay. If you got something to sell and it is worth selling, try eBay. It's very easy though you won't have 100% assurance that you'd sell right away but as long as you're building a good reputation, receiving good feedback, you are good.

Well, I may have not share that much, but at least I've shared you something. Those are the couple of things I do to earn online and honestly, I may not be earning as much as anyone else, but I'm contented that I am earning. But it's actually just up to you how much you wanna earn cos there are really lots of ways to do that. So, good luck.
