The group edited three singles that were very successful in England: “HeyJoe”/”Stone Free”, “Purple Haze”/”51st Anniversary” and “The Wind Cries Mary”/”Highway Chile”. By the same time, the band recorded this album with Chas Chandler as producer. After putting the album in the market in England on May of the same year without the three singles (as it was a tradition in the country in that time), “Are you Experienced?” and The Jimi Hendrix Experience became quickly a sensation throughout Europe, but the album arrived to the second place in sales in British lists (only being surpassed by “Sgt. It results in a terrible proyect, but the Beatles gave a Great Album to us (that only left in the beginning in U.S., while in UK it left like double EP). The disc contains greats subjects of the group, such as "Strawberry Fields Forever", "I am The Walrus", "Penny Lane", "The Fool On The Hill", mainly. A Great Album, without doubting. Your opinion is the one that counts.

Help! - (Lennon/McCartney)
The Night Before - (Lennon/McCartney)
You've Got to Hide - (Lennon/McCartney)
Your Love Away (Lennon/McCartney)
I Need You - (Lennon/McCartney)
Another Girl - (George Harrison)
You're Going to Lose That Girl - (Lennon/McCartney)
Ticket to Ride - (Lennon/McCartney)
Act Naturally - (Johnny Russell/Vonnie Morrison)
It's Only Love - (Lennon/McCartney)
You Like Me Too Much - (George Harrison)
Tell Me What You See - (Lennon/McCartney)
I've Just Seen a Face - (Lennon/McCartney)
Yesterday - (Lennon/McCartney)
Dizzy Miss Lizzy - (Larry Williams)

Reviewd by Gran Maese
Translatede by Monn
Monnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15889602160292896524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6001350884264239808.post-37516258706280941302007-05-12T20:03:00.000-05:002007-05-16T18:43:21.712-05:00The Beatles - Beatles for Sale (1964)

The Beatles - Beatles for Sale (1964)

A pretty irregular album of The Beatles and considered the worst CD of the band (it really sounds ugly , but sincerily the album has great songs that make it in an object to own by every "BeatleFan" =P). The disc represents a setback if we look to the awesome job done in the last album (like A Hard Day's Night), due to including covers and songs of lower elaboration (altough, this is considerable if we look the charge of work they had in those days). My last comment is that it really is not a bad work. Download it You're not going to regret.

No Reply (Lennon/McCartney)
I'm a Loser (Lennon/McCartney)
Baby's in Black (Lennon/McCartney)
Rock and Roll Music (Chuck Berry)
I'll Follow the Sun (Lennon/McCartney)
Mr. Moonlight (Roy Lee Johnson)
Medley: -Kansas City (Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller) -Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey (Little Richard)
Eight Days a Week (Lennon/McCartney)
Words of Love (Buddy Holly)
Honey Don't (Carl Perkins)
Every Little Thing (Lennon/McCartney)
I Don't Want to Spoil the Party (Lennon/McCartney)
What You're Doing (Lennon/McCartney)
Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby (Carl Perkins)

Reviewd by Gran Maese

Translatede by Monn
Monnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15889602160292896524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6001350884264239808.post-8710297711224157592007-05-12T14:33:00.000-05:002007-05-15T17:51:58.867-05:00The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night (1964)
The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night (1964)

Download

The third album of The Beatles and my favourite of the first "Beatlemania" phase (in my opinion , the first 5 CDs compose this stage). None of this tracks are a waste of time. The album is made as the Soundtrack of the movie about the band , with the same title of the CD and filmed in 1964.It is good to mention that all the songs of the CD were composed by McCartney and Lennon. In the end , give yourself some time to listen it , and remember :

If I fell in Love With You
Would yoy promise to be true
and help me, understand
If I Give My Heart To you... It represents a forward step with respect to their last album (Please Please Me) because it shows more complex and elaborated songs. Just like the previous album, this disc is conformed by six covers and eight owns songs (7 from Lennon and McCartney and 1 by Harrison). The songs that stand out are: "Till There Was You", "I Wanna Be Your Man", "Roll Over Beethoven","Please Mr.Postman", "All My Loving", and more. Most of these songs are included in the album "Meet the Beatles", that initiated the "Beatlemania" in the USA.
An Excellent Disc , without doubt :).

It Won't Be Long - (Lennon/McCartney)
All I've Got to Do - (Lennon/McCartney)
All My Loving - (Lennon/McCartney)
Don't Bother Me - (George Harrison)
Little Child - (Lennon/McCartney)
Till There Was You - (Meredith Willson)
Please Mr. Postman - (Dobbins/Garrett/Gorman/Holland/Bateman)
Roll Over Beethoven - (Chuck Berry)
Hold Me Tight - (Lennon/McCartney)
You Really Got a Hold on Me - (Smokey Robinson)
I Wanna Be Your Man – (Lennon/McCartney)
Devil in Her Heart - (Richard P. The album was composed by 6 covers and 8 own songs written by the sign of "Lennon/McCartney". From the simple "Love Me Do" to the dancing song "Twist and Shout" (I don't know why , but this is one of my favourite songs) , the hopless "Anna (Go to Him)" , the singular "I Saw Her Standing Here" , the peculiar "Please Please Me" , and more. So enjoy the first album of The Beatles ; this is the beginning of one of the best bands of the history.

I Saw Her Standing There - (Lennon/McCartney)Misery - (Lennon/McCartney)
Anna (Go to Him) - (Arthur Alexander)
Chains - (Gerry Goffin/Carole King)
Boys - (Luther Dixon/Wes Farrell)
Ask Me Why - (Lennon/McCartney)
Please Please Me - (Lennon/McCartney)
Love Me Do - (Lennon/McCartney)
P.S.
