Watching Lost is something to do on a Wednesday while you're drawing, and it has actually gotten better since a few seasons ago when it wasn't that great. Unfortunately, my favorite character Sawyer hasn't been up to form lately. He used to be the most delightful jerk, but lately he's been a big softy. I guess characters change over the course of time and that's something viewers have to deal with.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/599264016946136666-5118229876248346010?l=oldredhat.blogspot.com'/></div>Hawkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06291356491923479907noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-599264016946136666.post-91592738283158070632009-03-22T13:40:00.001-07:002009-03-22T13:54:49.905-07:00Udon Reject<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_h6n8e1hloWc/ScaioDjUw2I/AAAAAAAAAC8/MYTNjATWOUM/s1600-h/rss1.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 247px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_h6n8e1hloWc/ScaioDjUw2I/AAAAAAAAAC8/MYTNjATWOUM/s320/rss1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5316115219189384034" border="0" /></a><br />It's amazing how much you can hate a piece of art that you were so excited about only a week ago. That's the case with this image right here. It will forever stand as a reminder of my rejection and the long hours I spent to earn it. But the bright side is that since it didn't win the contest and make it into the art book, you get to see it for free.<br /><br />Several of my friends at work who also entered the contest pooled our artwork together to look at it before the winners were announced. Two of them actually won, <a href="http://adamscreation.blogspot.com/2009/03/i-suck.html">but the one I thought was the best</a> didn't make it in either. It shouldn't make me feel better... but knowing that art THAT good is sitting on the cutting room floor next to mine makes me feel like there could be any number of good pictures the judges couldn't include. That will help dull the sting until I buy the book and see what kinds of art the judges deemed better than mine and Adam's.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/599264016946136666-9159273828315807063?l=oldredhat.blogspot.com'/></div>Hawkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06291356491923479907noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-599264016946136666.post-19807008574831080842008-08-30T12:30:00.000-07:002008-08-30T12:53:39.809-07:00Pyro<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_h6n8e1hloWc/SLmhoNTU6BI/AAAAAAAAAB0/YYwvGgtXDKw/s1600-h/Pyro.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_h6n8e1hloWc/SLmhoNTU6BI/AAAAAAAAAB0/YYwvGgtXDKw/s320/Pyro.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5240397353559844882" border="0" /></a>The Pyro is my favorite class in Team Fortress 2. It was a Painter class, and I took the opportunity to paint my two favorite lovable trailer trash. I've really enjoyed the show My Name is Earl and I think it has some of the best characters on TV. It also helps me to be able to forgive Jason Lee for doing things like Underdog and The Chipmunks.<br /><br />If we didn't have a writer's strike going on right now, I'd be getting more of this hilarious white-trash goodness.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/599264016946136666-6312096809200735834?l=oldredhat.blogspot.com'/></div>Hawkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06291356491923479907noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-599264016946136666.post-47989029406288680192007-11-01T15:51:00.001-07:002008-08-30T12:57:52.427-07:00The Witches<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_h6n8e1hloWc/RypYiNmCIHI/AAAAAAAAABA/nGbfCbJ4KFc/s1600-h/thewitches.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_h6n8e1hloWc/RypYiNmCIHI/AAAAAAAAABA/nGbfCbJ4KFc/s320/thewitches.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5128008470502711410" border="0" /></a><br />This was a picture done for practice at work.
