Movers started loading boxes and stuff from our old office at 8 a.m. and by 4 p.m. they had unloaded everything from two large trucks into the new office. (Now if I can only find my coffee cup!) We're up and running at the new location -- 1125 32nd Ave. in Brookings. Phones work. Computers work. Everyone's working. And loving the new digs! Thank you for the generosity and support of so many SDNA members and friends to help make this day come true. The coffee's always on. Stop by if you're in the neighborhood. Look for more information soon regarding an open house this summer.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/595668855674281451-5794804222534362852?l=sdnaoffice.blogspot.com'/></div>David Bordewyknoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-595668855674281451.post-23167819242055038622008-05-07T19:05:00.000-07:002008-05-07T19:10:19.540-07:00Countdown to the Move<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_F4KCAQ5z5Vs/SCJgUy7LWBI/AAAAAAAAAiY/_nWl2eotSh0/s1600-h/P5073347.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_F4KCAQ5z5Vs/SCJgUy7LWBI/AAAAAAAAAiY/_nWl2eotSh0/s200/P5073347.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5197822830322604050" border="0" /></a><br />If all goes as planned, by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 14, we will be working from our new office at 1125 32nd Ave.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/595668855674281451-2316781924205503862?l=sdnaoffice.blogspot.com'/></div>David Bordewyknoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-595668855674281451.post-91878059866596351372008-04-28T18:21:00.000-07:002008-04-28T18:26:32.884-07:00Getting Close to Completion<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_F4KCAQ5z5Vs/SBZ4mtiAg4I/AAAAAAAAAiI/UK14VOJXSKw/s1600-h/P4283326.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_F4KCAQ5z5Vs/SBZ4mtiAg4I/AAAAAAAAAiI/UK14VOJXSKw/s200/P4283326.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5194471826671043458" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_F4KCAQ5z5Vs/SBZ5EdiAg5I/AAAAAAAAAiQ/nqO2hhhaW6Y/s1600-h/P4283341.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_F4KCAQ5z5Vs/SBZ5EdiAg5I/AAAAAAAAAiQ/nqO2hhhaW6Y/s200/P4283341.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5194472337772151698" border="0" /></a><br />Carpeting has been installed. Click on the image for a better view of the plan. While the snow in December slowed construction for now, the contractor was very pleased about how far the project progressed before the weather turned cold. All concrete work on the foundation, basement and parking lot was completed this fall. Plus, the first layer of asphalt was put down on the parking lot, allowing it to settle properly through the winter months. Look for framework on the building to get underway soon.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/595668855674281451-2634613731617889278?l=sdnaoffice.blogspot.com'/></div>David Bordewyknoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-595668855674281451.post-82387279482961858492007-11-25T16:26:00.000-08:002007-11-25T16:34:06.561-08:00Work Progresses on Building<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_F4KCAQ5z5Vs/R0oUXTsUrmI/AAAAAAAAAak/ITBGyBC1mkg/s1600-h/PB252688.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_F4KCAQ5z5Vs/R0oUXTsUrmI/AAAAAAAAAak/ITBGyBC1mkg/s320/PB252688.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5136940715625197154" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp0.blogger.com/_F4KCAQ5z5Vs/R0oT8DsUrlI/AAAAAAAAAac/LPt5Abpnm5w/s1600-h/PB252691.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_F4KCAQ5z5Vs/R0oT8DsUrlI/AAAAAAAAAac/LPt5Abpnm5w/s320/PB252691.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5136940247473761874" border="0" /></a><br />There has been considerable work at the building site the past few weeks.
