You may not be able to afford a new computer right now but upgrading the old one has never been cheaper. Adding more memory is the cheapest and easiest way to get more life out of a computer that you just can't afford to get rid of. Memory is at an all time low as far as cost per megabyte (MB) goes. You can buy a 1GB chip for as low as $21.50.
