The last couple of weeks have been full of stress and anxiety. Thankfully last night I decided to call in and listen to Jonathan Moody's The Independent Corner on Blog Talk Radio. Why? John Hughes 1950-2009

John Hughes has left us. It was not until after college, but he really did get it better than anyone else. How did he know us so well? Kevin Smith, Judd Apatow, Wes Anderson, Noah Baumbach and Gregg Mottola are his cinematic heirs, but John Hughes got it right first. He made the high school bearable. He made being a teenager bearable. Thank you John Hughes. You will be missed.
