it was recently in a most unfortunate manner i was reminded of the witch trials of salem, mass. and all around europe.
the gossiping voice is full of hate. self hate in particular.

whenever someone speaks ill of another, the angels flee. and the air becomes stale and dull. and the heart withers.

to speak ill of another is much like casting an evil spell. it is understood since the beginning of tribal living, if a spell is cast, it will most surely return, three times worse to the person creating it. i.e. only cast a slanderous spell if one can handle the fall out.

sometimes it may be necessary to offer a warning about another for really good reasons. if at all possible we make the example by coming up another person whom no one knows, a fictitious one, to make the point.

if we make an error, and speak ill of another, it's a good idea to do something right away to mitigate the effects and only if we are genuinely sorry we erred. otherwise, it's too late. and the consequences are our fate.

perhaps the fiercest most effective protection against subliminal media mind programming is created from still or moving meditation. other things also help with the returning: designing art, music, singing, chanting, laughing and telling jokes, playing with children, babies and animals, all acts of loving and all acts of loving kindness, cooking healthy, making stone walls, exercise, flowers and veggie gardening, community endeavors, making experimental in the moment unrehearsed radio shows......and more

mercury retrograde allows us to see things differently, a seriously great time for looking deeply into whatever it is that is taking up our minds attention.
and pick that which is real and beautiful and keep that. and discard if possible, by our intention, that which is false and repetitive and not so pretty. we just keep choosing the highest. fake it till you make it.

also this past mercury retrograde gave me the strangest or the most unexpected opportunity to discover the real from the false in the relationship sphere of friendship. THANK GOODNESS! and thank GOODNESS for the real and the beauty within the friends.

hey everyone, even though i took the dance page off the website for a spell,
im still offering dance, movement and meditation only the styling has shifted yet again....

we are exploring the SUFI 99 Names through movement and breath and music and chanting as well....and it's easy easy easy ......

sessions are held at my Treehouse Sanctuary. the music last night was just so great and so was essential essence of what came through - we could call it - yum-energy..... nurturing and healing.....

so we focused on the shaper, a fashioner of design, where we are given the ability to recreate ourselves in a new fashion for a new existence.
we created different shapes and performed one extended movement exercise.
we became like lumps of clay in a potter's hands. this was revealing.
first of all, we would never believe just this to hear it, but it's rather nice to be just a lump of clay, ;) - without having to do anything but allow oneself to be shifted and shaped.... secondly as we let go of the need to shape ourselves or even to be the potter, or to try to be in control of the process of the design, we saw we didn't need to know everything, that we didn't need to be responsible for all the details, that we could let ourselves breathe with the divine designer and everything can evolve as it needs to...this was like taking invisible burdens off our shoulders... and to question ourselves.. could we really live like this? in a place of such surrender? everything in our cultural training screams for us to 'take control'.

... later on when we chanted and the meditation that followed quickly produced the enhanced vibration of peace and serenity.

Now im wondering why Obama would ask for 1.5 billion dollars to cover the swine flu unless he is preparing for a full out emergency.

Because that's a lot of money and it's not about the vaccine itself. It covers international aid as well.

This weekend im preparing anti-plague plant based medicinals which include the poke root and essential oils.

I will be able to create enough tincture for about 10 - 15 individual cases at this time.

Machu Picchu and the Swine Flu

i have a card up on shelf above the windows, with a picture of the Dr. Emoto water crystals for Machu Picchu and it keeps falling down with the sweet breeze....
and its on my mind this morning....

what is going on there right now...

like when swine flues run rampant or other diseases...what roles do the sacred mountains play for the people of the earth when bedlam is unleashed by the severe unconsciousness of some of its inhabitants?
like when the Chinese company officials allowed the additive to the milk formula for babies to make it look like it had more protein content and many babies came down with kidney failure.
or when the Pharma Co BAXTER, last month, sent over to Europe vaccines tainted with bird flu virus. they got caught for this too, only now they are being assigned the job to administer a new swine flu vaccine!

how is this possible? what in the world kind of corruption must be taking place to let them off the hook and assign them another job for vaccines?

what does the Being of Machu Pichu offer now to us when we witness this kind of weirdness? and Obama is being quoted for calling for 1.5 billion dollars to make a vaccine? please say it's not so... please Obama, assure us you also know of Baxter errors last month, and that it's possible for a vaccine to be made in a rush thatdoes more harm than good. the last swine flu vaccine created in 1976 killed more people or gave paralysis to many more people than died from the flu.

chaos and the New Moon in Taurus '09 seeking steady serene still Beauty

the extreme changing...

lately, the issues of trust and loyalty are coming smack direct into my personal experience. probably because i am actively seeking this now...in my community, and personally and intimately,,,, not so much about finding security... rather, loyalty and trust... and the idea is 'we have each others backs' like members of a sports team.

So fitting on the eve of the New Moon in loyalty-bound Taurus, i am asking these questions: am i a loyal being ? i feel like i am but am i really? and, am i really trustworthy?

and my friends and family? are they trustworthy? do they have my back?

from my experience, loyalty and trust between two people takes time to build.

and so much of the time, by the time we have time to see if we can deeply trust the other, and vice verse, the time is up. relationship is complete. time to move on.

Relationships that are long lasting are amazing in a way considering how much changes occur as we keep evolving forward. Even so, a strong and consistent spiritual attitude allows us to find that sense of eternal love within, with our own spirit. 'As within so without.' A dualistic universe is one we can count on! While i admire the romantic concept of courtly love, it seems a rather blinding though initially ecstatic delusion.
The love that occurs in the moment as it is being expressed is the only love i know.

This month the challenge i am given is to look at how i experience my own loyalty and trust to myself.

for ex. - do i stay true to my own contracts i make to myself? regarding life choices, work, food, children, dreams and goals? or do i let myself get constantly distracted?

It seems a giant playing field of potentiality when i look at my life as though it begins inside of me, rather than looking to others to fulfill my inner values or my dreams for that matter.
I'm not talking about being preoccupied with the self of petty concerns, that is a waste of precious time. Rather the suggestion is to locate within, that which is steady, serene, dependable, honest, and genuinely supportive. So i deepen my walking, and find a brighter path with the Sun. Because in the Changing Times coming up soon, and under the dark moist, fertile ripe beginnings of the New Moon in Taurus, we are being given an incentive to build solid trust and mutually reinforcing relationship based on loyalty with friends and loved ones we can count on.

'remember PATIENCE', the inner guides chirp.
because trust and loyalty are things that are definitely earned and cultivated...even to ourselves, don't give up.

and trust, and loyalty, just like devotion, are the qualities and attributes our spiritual hearts seek, ...without exception....

Venus and The Maya inquiry continues

back to the Venus cycle!
much is available all over the internet about Venus rising and the Venus retrograde cycle especially when seen from the Mayan point of view.
which if you've read up on the coming upheaval, much of the prophecy is based entirely on the Mayan calendar. The Mayans were in awe of Venus.

Therefore checking out the Venus cycle now is a very interesting inquiry.

We have a far different consciousness now then in pre-columbian times.
only there are vestiges that may still be hidden from times past.
and
im currently writing a new article on what came up for me as i have been tracking the present Venusian retrograde cycle since its inception on March 6th.
and what is coming to my attention is nothing whatsoever that i ever could have imagined in a million years.
in fact it is rather astonishing, shocking and i totally can see why people would choose to collectively forget this condition that appears to lie hidden in our human dna...but not inactive....

VENUS - NEW CYCLE important!

Today, April 3rd 2009, this morning begins Venus' 584 day cycle rising as Morning Star before the Sun, in the sign of Aries and squaring pluto.

the Mayans held this time of her Cycle to be of such significance they would often look to time their battles with this Warrior Goddess.

This is significant if only bc the Prophecies for 2012 are based entirely on MAYAN astrology.

consider:

Venus has a dual nature.
She spends 260 days as morning star. And 260 as evening star.
Plus two periods demarcate when she changes from evening to morning star and then again when she morphs from morning to evening star. During the times she is in the transition, we cannot see her.

One of those periods just occurred, for one week or so, when she was invisible.

When we cannot see her, from the Earth's perspective, Venus is considered to be in the 'underworld', 'off the world stage' like she was in a meeting, having 'a private council' with the Sun, or as the medievals put it, 'under-the-beams", or, the way i like most Venus was 'in total absorption' with the Sun.
Fascinating, even incredible theories arise, from ancient times to now, as to the inherent meaning when from the Earth's perspective, Venus is out of our sight.

When she is 10 degrees of separation from the Sun, Venus can be seen. Today and for the next 260 days she is visible as Morning Star. Today for example, in clear skies, just before the Sun rises, by about 30 minutes we can see Venus. Later on in her 260 day cycle as Morning Star, she will rise up to 3 hours earlier than the Sun.
For now, she is Venus in Aries, a Warrior Goddess, a god/Queen.

Additionally, Venus is retrograde, as seen from the Earth, and therefore she is closest and brightest to the Earth now. This is absolutely a very interesting time for conscious intuiting, a time for being in sacred ceremony for those who are connecting to land and sky.

The place of Venus in your birth chart as per her 584 day cycle indicates specific attributes -
she has her evening star traits, or her morning star traits, and then those times she is invisible to us on Earth. This info give us extra details as well as the zodiac sign, the house placement and the aspects to Venus.

There is obviously much more to discuss on the zodiac and constellations beyond this blog and a 12 month home study Deep Sky Shamanic Astrology course is beginning on April 19th,...intuiting the zodiac based on the solar calendar... apprentices can begin at the change of the zodiac sign each month....we are complete when we reach 12 apprentices....

RIGHT NOW: individuals, men and women, and third genders, are called to begin an archetypal journey for developing and evolving the Aries expression. we are also exploring the nature of Venus as a principle of the divine feminine......

Astrologically, we relate her to our Value System. with Venus rising as a Morning Star in Aries, it's like joan of arc time in a way. what causes can we defend? I volunteer my efforts by taking action in devotion to the causes which really stir up my innate value system.

Yesterday morning, on a car trip to Saratoga Springs to take my son to visit Skidmore College, we see the factories built alongside the Hudson River, and later on we see cigarette butts lining a walkway at the college green, and then walking on the concrete, or on the tar and asphalt roads, and we can sense the feelings of the earth beneath the tar.....our sweet earth....mother earth who gives us our home and food.

i associate the thought that the way we treat the earth is directly related to how we treat our bodies........
and of special note is how we treat our womens' bodies..... our values about how we treat the earth and how we treat our bodies is inviting new future actions in this regard....

there are many other causes i participate in: like volunteering my astrology skills to assist with a new food pantry operation. we're creating neighborhood alliances, as Good Neighbors, based on the roads we live on, plus we're gardening together with friends to grow produce for so many....then there's our radio show, The Aquarian Hour and a Half...on Tuesday mornings at 9-10.30am. here's another cause for the future, as a woman, i am in the business of caring for children and others and nurturing anyone in my immediate field - this is carried out just by virtue of my feminine nature,,,, ...plus my system is connected to the entire planet and solar system....to move things forward consciously and caringly...in my vision, women are given everything we need to do the work that is instinctual, as we multi-task everything and accomplish so many things all at once, for the benefit of so many others.....why should we ever have to worry about money of all things when there are children and adults going hungry or when a child needs to play a game of rummy?

ok, here's for a treat, my friend and astro-colleague Sao offers this enlightened consideration as a possible new way to express the god-Queen in fierce and courageous Aries.....

- starting a real movement to have every other Pope be a woman (a male then a female, then a male, then a female, etc.) who then appoints other women to top positions in the hierarchy of that religious order; same with the Dalai Lama and that religious order; same with Mormonism and that religious order, same with Islam and that religious order, same with every religious order on Earth.

what's so interesting is that the oldest seriously oldest version of healing
since the beginning of tribes, is back on track as being one of the best forums for healing.
and that's because it really works.
energy medicine works.
shamanic healing can remove energetic materials that we carry on for lifetimes, through our inherited DNA, that are totally unnecessary to our incarnation this time round.

when i work with the astrology chart and combine the shamanic healing, as a full mesa carrier, (completed training in september'08) i am seeing how the issue/dis-ease that is coming up for my client is literally shown through the symbols and aspects in the birthchart.
i see this as a kind of inheritance, especially in relation to the lineage of each of the parents. in some cases it's the mother's line and in others the issue/dis-ease is belonging totally to the paternal line. my personal sense is that the DNA carries our zodiacal imprints as well as our human family tree.

even the most insidious of dis-eases may actually be ours only to discontinue the family inheritance. We recognize the trait that needs to be illuminated now so it can be seen and healed and sent off away from our bodies and into the light where it is dissolved.. we are grateful for the lessons our grief/pain served and again we send it back into the light, so can move on. thank you. thank you.

what is in the chart and what is coming through the client is beyond coincidence. it's beyond even my own belief. it's no longer a matter of belief!

Notes on a Balsamic Moon

just wondering, did anyone else catch the spectacular balsamic moon in cancer rising in the early pre-dawn last week tuesday?

and if you did catch it, about 2:30am east coast,
- did you notice anything unusual about the energy around it?

have never actually intentionally gone out to ceremonially consider the balsamic moon, ... and WOW was it something~! ....breathtaking, and absolutely magical

and so was the atmosphere, with the low drumming sound of the waves so close and crashing up on the shore of rocks.
we just arrived, though quite late at the Wildwood Park campgrounds in Wading River, on the Long Island Sound. various delays held us up, and, if we got there any earlier, we would have not seen the moon rise, rather we would have been fast asleep.....

the balsamic moon hung low and so bright, a glowing sliver in the shape of a smile. the rest, a silhouette. in between the treetops, the constellation Taurus, The Sisters Pleiades, Aries, one Fish and later on, more towards the South, also in partial view, the unmistakable 3 stars of Orion's Belt ....

the night air was unusually sweet, sparkling, warm and poignant with a mystical ambient that lends itself to the creation of myths.
one could so easily imagine a trio of happy yet serious and beautiful witches, standing around a large smoking cauldron, preparing a dynamic elixir for long life and perfect health....
or a young woman with long blonde hair flowing down her back, walking in a white satin gown sprinkled with little star-like periwinkle flowers, the delicate air breezes softly on her skin.... she is connecting to the earth as she walks through the forest, and quietly merging into the gentle yet intoxicating power from the source that moves the wind ......
one could also easily imagine a dashing mysterious man with a black cape and hat with a low top and brim, riding on a wild and sleek dark brown horse. the soul-being of one born under a balsamic moon is utterly and completely different than say one being born under a full moon or a new moon or any of the other cycles.
very revealing these cycles, ....as rudhyar offered and others following have written, and i would tend to agree, (based mostly on personal experience), that in particular, a balsamic individual lives with similarities very close in nature to the intensity of chirotic influences, or the underworld expressions of a moon/pluto conjunct.

scientific side note: the electro magnetic fields of the earth apparently are also undergoing changes. some report distortions. these alterations are effecting our ability to think clearly, and some are finding they are experiencing more fatigue, as in needing to go to bed earlier, or take naps on a regular basis. memory lapses seem to be the most obvious affliction across the board. all ages.
at least there is a reason for all this forgetting other than aging or mind disorders.
