Kevin I had no idea! I have absolutely no experience like this, so I can't claim to know how this feels one bit. <BR/><BR/>But I do know one of my friends who lost his mom found that reading CS Lewis' "A Grief Observed" was very comforting as CS is very honest and open in that book. <BR/><BR/>Thanks for welcoming me to blogspot! Her legacy will continue to live in those she loved so dearly. I knew her as a volunteer mom at school, and a Godly example for me at church and in life. Though my initial reaction to her illness was, "...but her work on this earth isn't done...," I'm realizing that it is up to all of us to pick up where she left off, and in some small way, try to do justice to the work that she did so effortlessly. She loved her family deeply, that was very evident. I am a better person for having known her.<BR/><BR/>Every day is a gift; we don't have any guarantees of tomorrow. The thought of Janet looking into the face of Jesus is the only thing that makes sense right now.
