ANOTHER CHICK FOR DIXIE CHICK ~ Martie Maguire of the Dixie Chicks gave birth to a girl, Harper Rosie, on July 25th, 2008 in Austin, Texas. The baby girl weighed 7 lb., 10 oz. and was 20.5 inches long and is a little sister for twins Eva Ruth and Kathleen Emilie, who were born in April 2004. "Martie is doing very well and Gareth and the family are over the moon," says a statement on the band's Web site. In January, Maguire told People of her pregnancy that "Carrying one instead of two will be much easier."

Maguire is married to Gareth Maguire, a professor. Their first children, twin daughters arrived in 2004 (Eva Ruth and Kathleen Emilie).

In regard to the growing brood between her and the rest of her band mates (singer Natalie Maines and Maguire's sister, Emily Robison) she says; "We'll have to move over and let the little chicks take over! We've got a new band!"

DANCING WITH A BABY ~ Marissa Jaret Winokur and her husband, Judah Miller, are the parents of their first child, son Zev Isaac Winokur tells People exclusively. Winokur and Miller helped deliver the baby on July 22nd, 2008. The child was carried to term by a surrogate mother. "He is so perfect," the new mom gushes. "My little miracle baby is here, and I can't believe it." Zev weighed 8 lbs., 7 oz. and measured 21 inches long. "I'd say he's got a Winokur face and a Miller body," says Winokur, the third runner-up on Dancing With the Stars last season and a Tony Award-winner for her leading role in Broadway's Hairspray.

Winokur, who survived cervical cancer seven years ago also said; "I told Judah the minute Zev was conceived our lives changed," says Winokur.

Marissa has also landed a deal to host her own talk show. Her husband has also received his first primetime Emmy nomination last week for outstanding animated program for his work on King of the Hill. "One minute I'm totally fine, and the next minute I'm overwhelmed with emotion," a teary-eyed Winokur said. "I can't believe I am sitting here next to my baby. This is the one thing that's been missing from our lives. Now our house is really going to be a home."

UPDATE ~ Minnie Driver spoke with the NY Post about her pregnancy and upcoming delivery. "With this pregnancy I was very sick the first four months," said Minnie. "My black Lab Bubba, my forever constant loving companion, knew it. He'd see me lying on the couch. He'd stay with me. He felt for me. But now I'm nearly there and feeling fit. I'm keeping athletic. Running with my dog four miles every day along the beach in Malibu. I'm going to walk this baby out. I always wanted to be a mommy. I'm very into feeling this female thing."

She is not planning to have the baby's father in the delivery room. She is maybe not even planning to have the baby's father in her life. "I'm not married and don't know if I'll stay with the guy. It's great to be an independent creature. Today you don't need a man anymore. In the old days, a baby without marriage and people would put you out. Today you speak about it on talk shows. My mom and Aunt Serena will be with me, as will my best friends, a midwife and a yoga teacher. And I'll be the wailing monster at the center."

She also divulges her name choices; if it's a boy it will be Thomas, a girl, Isabel.

June 25th, 2008 ~ Rumours are swirling that Colin Farrell is the father of Minnie's unborn baby after their day at the beach together. x17 has a video of Colin in the water with his son and Minnie appears in the beginning of the clip. Apparently, Minnie is wearing a new ring on her ring finger and so is Colin who was dating a student but have since broken up.

March 3rd, 2008 ~ Minnie confirms the news on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno after Leno quipped that it looked like she had gained weight from too many trips to the Hometown Buffet. "Are you calling me fat? You've noticed my tummy, haven't you? Yes, I am [pregnant]. I love it more than anything else, but I am sick. I don't know why they call it morning sickness. February 16th, 2008 ~ Page Six is now on board with this story as their "spies" saw the actor outside a doctor's office on Crescent Avenue in LA this week looking at sonograms of her child with a friend. She reportedly called her boyfriend, Matthew, in England and talked about "getting bloodwork done" - and told her pal, "Matthew says I should be quiet so no one hears me." Driver's rep didn't return calls to Page Six.

January 31st, 2008 ~ According to an A Socialite's Life exclusive, friends and associates of Minnie Driver are saying she is pregnant and that she is keeping the identity of the father private.

Minnie Driver is a British actor as well as a musician and songwriter. She gained attention for her role in the film adaptation of Circle of Friends with Chris O'Donnell. Driver was nominated for an Oscar for her supporting work in the 1997 Affleck/Damon project Good Will Hunting. THE TWINS HAVE ARRIVED!!! ~ Brad was at Angelina's side the whole time. Angelina delivered the couple's son and daughter via c-section on July 12th, 2008 in Nice, France, People confirms. "The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly," Dr. Michel Sussmann reports. "Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well." Son Knox Leon arrived first at 6:27 p.m., weighing in at 5.3 lbs, while daughter Vivienne Marcheline was born within a minute and weighed in at 5 lbs. The twins are the fifth and sixth children for Jolie, 33, and partner Brad Pitt, 44, who are already parents to Maddox Chivan, 6; Pax Thien, 4; Zahara Marley, 3; and Shiloh Nouvel, 2. "The mother and father are very, very happy," Sussmann told People. The doctor also told the Associated Press that the Cesarean was moved forward "for medical reasons" so that the babies could be born "in the best conditions." He also said Jolie is expected to stay in the hospital for a few days, which is normal.

"The name Sunday struck me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it."The paper reports that in January, Kidman and Urban visited an exhibition by artist Sidney Nolan, who had a longtime relationship with Reed who became his muse. Her first album, 1996's Under These Rocks and Stones earned her much critical praise as well as a Juno Award nomination for Best New Artist. In 1999, she released her second album, Colour Moving and Still featuring tracks written with Raine Maida, her new husband. This album earned her two Juno Awards for Best Adult/Pop Album and Best Female Artist. Her third album entitled What If It All Means Something was released in 2002 with multiple collaborations with Raine. Her fourth effort, Ghost Stories was released in August of 2006 with the first single being released via her official website and MySpace. Chantal is also known for her contributions to film and television show soundtracks as well as a cover of "Leaving on a Jet Plane" which appeared in the film Armageddon. She has also collaborated with many other artists including Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, The Veronicas, Marion Raven, Hilary Duff and more recently Cheyenne Kimball. In 2001 Chantal made her acting debut in the indie film Century Hotel and also co-wrote the theme song with her husband. Last year, she starred in Pretty Broken, a short film about a woman dealing with mental illness which she also co-produced.

Raine Maida is the front man for the Canadian rock band Our Lady Peace. He is also the band's songwriter. Maida started the band with guitarist Mike Turner in 1992 and they have released six albums. He has also has done some solo work and collaborations with his wife. Maida co-wrote and produced five tracks on Avril Lavigne's second album as well as had contributions for Kelly Clarkson and Hilary Duff. Maida had a small role in a Canadian movie released in 2001 with his wife, Century Hotel.

The couple met in 1996 in Toronto at a Pearl Jam concert. They tied the knot in December of 1999 and they reside in Malibu, California and Toronto, Ontario.

Paris Bennett Expecting

2006 American Idol contestant Paris Bennett is expecting a baby girl in October. "This makes five generations," an overjoyed Jamecia Bennett, told The Star Tribune. Jamecia, who like her daughter and mother is a singer, is absolutely over the moon about being a first-time grandmother. "I'm proud of how she did it. I was 16 when I got pregnant," said Jamecia. Paris' great-grandmother is Shirley T. Bennett, 75, of Rockford, Ill.; her grandmother Ann Nesby, a gospel and R&B powerhouse, who lives in Atlanta, was with the Sounds of Blackness.

They are not revealing the father, Jamecia says that; "He chooses not to be in the public eye."

An August baby shower is in the works. Queen Latifah has made it clear that she plans to spoil this baby with gifts and that she won't be stopped. You're the princess but I'm the queen, Jamecia said Latifah told Paris.

According to another blog, Paris says; "well I was goin to do a special blog for my fans but yes im engaged and with child a girl and her name will be Egypt... she will be here in october just before the holiday album in november is released and the sophomore album in january!"

IT'S A BOY FOR CONTEMPORARY CHRISTIAN SINGER ~ Erin O'Donnell is a third time mother with the arrival of her first son. Brennan James arrived on May 30th at 3:24 p.m. and weighed in at 9 lbs, 10 oz. Erin says she's "sleep deprived," but "so grateful to God for this precious little boy."

Announced on Erin's website, she also says that daughters Quinn, 8, and Fallon, 3; "are very sweet big sisters and a big help."

Brennan ~ Gaelic; variation of Brendan ~ Irish/Gaelic; Prince; the name of Irish saints, one of whom is said to have sailed to North America in the sixth century.

FUTURE MISS UNIVERSE ~ Former Miss Universe Alicia Machado welcomed her first child, daughter Dinorah, on June 25th, 2008 in Miami, Florida People en Espanol confirms. The father is a 48-year-old Mexican businessman who's identity has never been revealed.

Eva Longoria Pregnant?

UPDATE ~ For some celebrities the rumours don't fade until there is an announcement and Eva seems to be one of those celebs. Her husband, Tony Parker, tells OK! that; "She’s not pregnant now if that’s your question." Earlier this month Eva was photographed wearing a loose-fitting dress, but Tony says that's nothing to get worked up over. In fact, fatherhood is the furthest thing from his mind at the moment."I’m not thinking like that right now," he says. Eva has also said in the past that she doesn't want to start a family "just yet".

February 28th, 2008 ~ Eva has been seen shopping for a nursery, furniture and baby clothes adding to the pregnancy rumours. A source told Britain's Star magazine; "She and a girlfriend were ooh-ing and ahh-ing over all the baby things. She looked at cribs, changing tables and inquired about designing a nursery. She bought a $116 Robbie Adrian blanket and a half-dozen Huddy Buddy Babygros, including one that proclaimed, 'I tend to drool'." Eva recently denied these rumours attributing the weight gain to the writer's strike.

January 15th, 2008 ~ According to People, despite persistent rumours, Eva Longoria-Parker is insisting that the bulge around her belly is just "home cooking" and not evidence of pregnancy. She told the magazine; "No pregnancy, not yet," said Eva during an interview for her new film, Over Her Dead Body. "I've been cooking and eating, cooking and eating. I keep telling everyone that I've gained 10 pounds just being on strike." Longoria-Parker didn't help her case when she arrived at the movie's press day wrapped in a pink baby blanket, worn over a short, billowing dress. "I know – If this isn't going to spawn pregnancy rumors, I don't know..." the Desperate Housewives star laughed. "I was freezing, so I had to run down to the gift shop, and they didn't have any wraps. I grabbed this and was like, 'It's so soft, but why is it so small?!' And they said, 'It's for a baby.'"

Page Six on the other hand has some photos of Eva leaving Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica last night covering her belly with what appears to be a chenille pillow. But her rep continues to deny the reports, telling Page Six last week that the rumours were "Not true!" when the actress was snapped holding her hand over her tummy. Only time will tell.
