Whilst it’s considered that the market is still in it’s infancy the potential is huge and that companies, such as Adobe, are positioning themselves for future rewards.
While Adobe’s foray into the marketplace, other vendors are attempting to answer the conundrum of online and offline application. Google is offering a tool that allow the user to access documents and software even when the PC is offline and it looks as though consumers will increasingly look for flexability in online tools.
How Adobe plans to position itself here is unknown however it does plan to integrate Buzzword with some of its other portfolio.

shanzu23noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5850911652954058287.post-12995213745576090312007-07-14T13:51:00.000-07:002007-07-14T13:53:50.302-07:00Css at it's best
www.CSSZengarden.com, an oldie but goldie, is a great resource for anyone who's into the design side of the web. using pure CSS some of the examples that are shown are simply stunning - and if your looking for HTML design inspiration it's a great site to drop by on from time to time. In HTML colors are normally referred to in one of two ways - either by name e.g. "White" or by a hexadecimal code eg "#FFFFFF".

What are Hex Codes?

Hex codes are made up of 3 pairs of alphanumeric characters - these three pairs represent the combination of Red Green Blue used to produce the color.

Colors can be used to great effect with CSS and there are a variety of style attributes that can be used. For example

* Background-color - used by CSS to set a background color of a div
* Color - used to specific the color of text used within a div

Safe HTML colors

In the past where colors displayed by browsers was more of an issue a list of 216 Web Safe Colors was produced as a Web standard. This list included a wide ranging pallette (which can be see at http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colors.asp).
