User Ultrasound has done it again! Here's a simple (and as one commenter notes, creepy) synth of a hand. What's neat about this is the representation in the point cloud. That it is a partially complete hand only makes it seem more surreal.

There is a lot going on in this scene, and all of it is delightful. The entire area is busy enough to keep your eyes moving around it, and the synthing individual has provided enough detail shots to allow you to focus on some of the smaller areas.

Lovely scene of snow, ice and light. Very appropriate for those of us in the Pacific Northwest, (though I understand much of the country is in the grip arctic blasts of air, or something) as we have some new fallen snow on the ground. Ours isn't quite as pretty, and it's certainly causing more traffic issues than this shot might show.

There's something compelling about this synth of a simple globe. I think part of it is the dense point cloud; but the more I click around the more I am struck by the visible neighbors in the synth. The photo that you are currently viewing is cool, but all of the semi-opaque surrounding photos have a really cool effect.

Not sure if these shots are taken from a single person, or from multiple, but I think it is fantastic that someone synthed their wedding! It's nor amazingly synthy, but some of the individual frames are shot with a real eye towards composition. Good luck to the bride and groom.

I point this synth out for different reasons than a lot of the synths I highlight. I love this synth, because it takes the concept of "...and here's my room/living space/blah" and makes it more interesting. The title of the synth + the bears holding weapons, squaring off across the couch, add just the right touch.

I have no idea what kind of data this is, but it's fun trying to figure it out. I dig some of the weird transitions and all of the pretty colors. This synth shows that not everything has to be photographs to be interesting.

This synth benefits greatly from interesting photography. Shot with an eye toward the highlights, the whole scene glows most pleasingly. The point cloud is also a bit surreal.

When I first began seeing synths of places and old buildings I despaired that many of them were more of the same. Not so with Orloj here; I find that the details of the scene, the moving nature of the elements, and the changes in lighting all make for a very interesting synth. Kudos.

Non-english character support notwithstanding; I got a lot of enjoyment from this synth. It's a great mix of panorama with areas of detail interspersed to provide a complete experience. Additionally, hot point cloud :)
