Let me ask you a question. Do you like to fish? It doesn't matter if you do or not you can make 75-175 gold an hour farming fishing poles. Most of the good fishing poles come from doing wow quests so you can't farm them and sell them in the auction house for gold. However the Big Iron Fishing Pole is currently going for 25-35 gold and I know where to farm 3-6 poles an hour. This is a great gold tip so make sure you get on it quick.

The first thing you need to do is head over to the south western coast of Desolace. There is a bay there where the Shellfish Traps reside. The poles are in the traps along with some lobster dudes that are level 33-34. I've slaughtered many of them in my days farming for wow gold. The best method I found to get the poles is to find an area where 5-10 traps are close to each other, then just circle around those ones all day. I was able to open 120-150 traps an hour and farm 3-6 fishing poles. The respawn rate is incredibly fast so you shouldn't have much downtime. A few seconds at the most is all I experienced.

If you find a good area of traps and you do this consistently it will produce a lot of wow gold. If you're an Alliance be aware that these Traps are located near a Horde camp. This is an awesome method to rake in large sums of wow gold. I use to farm these poles all the time until I came up with some other gold farming strategies. If your a little low on the gold I highly recommend this gold farming tip.

The Big Iron Fishing Pole is also a pole if you're into fishing as a profession. Fishing is one of my favorite professions for making gold. If you can master it then it can be a good gold maker. Many items created by fisherman sell great in the auction house. I will get some tips posted here that will help you fisherman make more gold. Fishing is a profession I really enjoy so I plan on releasing a lot of tips soon so make sure to bookmark my blog.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-49063197237640965672008-02-09T09:12:00.000-08:002008-02-09T09:35:45.567-08:00WoW speed farming guideIs your wow character broke? Do you slowly build up your gold thinking that mount will never come? I feel your pain, I was once there. Farming gold in wow is not an easy task. It can be frustrating and can take up your whole day. This is the number one tip you can use to increase your gold intake.

No matter what method you are using to make gold in wow you should develop a fast way of doing it. The reason chinese farmers are able to make a business out of selling wow gold is because they farm gold extremely fast. 200-400 gold an hour is what the typical chinese farmer rakes in. The reason they're so efficient is because they have developed extremely fast wow gold farming techniques. Speed farming and strategy optimization is the key to making the most out of your time spent gold farming.

If you're at a low level then I wouldn't worry a whole lot about speed farming. I would worry about leveling your character first. Then you can wow farm gold a lot faster. It's a proven fact that low level wow characters can't make very much gold. I know you want gold now, but go kill some creatures first. You will be a lot happier when your character can go to more locations to farm gold. I recommend a power leveling guide if you want to be at level 70 within a week. The best power leveling guides for Alliance or Horde are listed to the left.

Speed farming is the way to make the most gold in wow. If you truly want to make some gold then you need to develop fast and efficient gold farming strategies. I would not be where I am today if I just putted around making five gold an hour. I'm the fastest wow gold farmer in the west. I bust out my sword so quick that my enemies have don't even see it coming. With just one swift stroke I can take out any player in wow. Like I said I'm a wow speed farmer. The bottom line is if you want to be a top performer in the World of Warcraft then you need to be a very fast and efficient player. Lots of time and practice will put you with the elite wow players.

Being fast at farming gold is not the only thing you should brush up on. Learn how to dominate the auction house. With the right addons and enough experience you can double your gold intake just by adjusting your auction house strategies. I'm going to try and get some auction house tips posted pretty soon. Great way to add some extra gold to your Warcraft backpack. Thanks for reading another post from the best free wow gold guide on the net. Good luck on the speed farming!Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-22413324911720410002008-02-08T00:41:00.000-08:002008-02-13T00:16:35.169-08:00Chaotic Skyfire DiamondHere's a good wow gold tip for all you high level players in the jewel crafting business. The design for a Chaotic Skyfire Diamond is not an easy one to farm. It takes anywhere from 50-200 kills for a drop. It's reported drop rate is 0.2%. This may take a while to farm but it's all worth it in the end as this diamond goes for 500-600 gold in the AH. The Chaotic Skyfire Diamond design is rare and and can only be farmed in one location.

The Coilskar Sirens are strutting their stuff in Shadowmoon Valley. Being a level 68-69 these guys can put up a fight. Northern Shadowmoon is where these bad boys hang out. It may take you a while but it will be well worth it to get this design. Some people have reported getting the design within a half hour.

If you're into jewel crafting I would definitely consider farming this design. With the recent auction house inflation this item will be selling for more gold. Not to many people are farming this so get on this quick. I don't know a whole lot of wow gold farming tips for Jewel Crafters but I will do my best to get some more on this wow blog.

There's a gold guide written by Derek Beachler, one of the richest players in wow. I have read it and it's very in depth. His guide contains plenty of awesome tips for making wow gold with Jewel Crafting.

Check out Derek's Gold Mastery GuideMatadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-48860751738338206012008-01-07T17:07:00.000-08:002008-01-07T17:28:28.176-08:00Low level WOW gold farmingIt doesn't matter what level you're at, you will always need wow gold. Lower level players should focus on leveling their wow character first before they go trying to get rich. If your at a higher level you can make more gold, so leveling should be your first task. Like I said though every level needs at least some wow gold to survive. Here is the best way to make gold in Warcraft at a low level.

Using your profession is the best way to make wow gold at a low level. Gathering professions like mining, herbalism, and skinning yield the highest amounts of wow gold for low level players. Other professions are best used at higher levels. You have to be smart about using your profession if you want to make wow gold efficiently. Find an area that has lots of what you're farming and develop an efficient farming route. If you have any downtime when doing your route then it might be a good idea to find a better one, or at least one with some bad guys near by to kill for xp while your waiting for your items to respawn.

If your out there questing for gold at a low level than you need to stop what you're doing and go pick up a profession. Questing for wow gold is a waste of time at a low level. Get a profession and start selling your items in the auction house. You may want to get an extra bag if you're going on a long wow gold farming operation.

A lot of new people who have trouble making gold in the World of Warcraft resort to buying gold from the chinese farmers. If you do this you need to stop right now. It can and will get your account deleted now days. It also takes the fun out of the game and disrupts the wow economy.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-56536092336458275632008-01-07T16:20:00.000-08:002008-01-07T16:53:44.565-08:00Farming Fel BlossomHere is a wow gold farming tip for you herbalists. Felweed grows abundantly on the Hellfire Peninsula and Terokkar Forest. It can be farmed for Fel Blossom. Fel Blossom is currently going for 10-15 wow gold per stack. On the Hellfire Peninsula the best spots to farm are the northern, western, and south eastern borders. In the Terokkar Forest it's spread more evenly and is plentiful everywhere, except there is none at the little pond area called Skettis. Farming Fel Blossom is a great way for an herbalist to make some gold in the World of Warcraft. It's also a good way to increase your herbalism skill. Now go out and make some wow gold.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-34256481173933682812007-12-14T20:26:00.000-08:002007-12-14T20:53:44.393-08:00Farming Linen & Wool ClothLinen Cloth is all over the World of Warcraft. If you are a level 10-20 I know of a great spot to farm it for gold. In western Westfall near the coast there is lots of Defias humanoids. These Defias have a very high drop rate for Linen Cloth and there is a bunch of them. They also have a high respawn rate. If you are going solo they will probably start respawning before you get done killing them all. This is a great place to farm Linen Cloth and get some green items. A few quests take place around this area so make sure you stop by sometime. A little farther west you will find a mob of Riverpaw Bandits. They have a decent drop rate for Wool Cloth. I usually farm gold in this area if all the Defias are dead.

Linen Cloth can sell for around 40 silver a stack. In the location I told you I could farm about 8 stacks an hour. This isn't the best way to make some wow gold but if your in the area it may be worth it to you to check out. Wool Cloth can sell for 75 silver up to 1 gold. It depends on the server, I've seen it higher.

Overall farming these cloths isn't the best way to make gold in the World of Warcraft. It might be wise though to stop by and take a look when you do the quests that take place in this area. One of the quests actually require you to kill these Defias mobs. You can get a lot of xp killing these mobs.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-79085073482630039612007-12-14T19:47:00.000-08:002007-12-14T20:12:24.979-08:00Questing for WoW gold?Should you do quests to make wow gold? This is a question many new players have about making wow gold. When you complete quests in the World of Warcraft you usually get some gold, copper, or silver. When you first start playing the World of Warcraft quests can get you enough gold to buy your basic needs. This is fine at first, but quests really aren't that good of a way to make gold. They are great and necessary for leveling your character, but thats about it. If you want to make some gold you need to pick up a profession. Gathering professions such as mining, herbalism, and skinning yield the highest amounts of gold for lower level players. You can make about 10 times as much wow gold using a profession than you can questing for gold.

Once you hit level 70 you will see that quests are worth a lot more gold than other levels. This is a very cool feature about the World of Warcraft. It gives you something to do once you are done leveling your character. Questing for gold is so much more fun than grinding for gold.

Even though quests don't make you a lot of gold in the World of Warcraft they play an important roll in the gold making process. As you probably know, higher level players can go more places, kill more people, and farm better items. Therefore making them able to get more gold. Since questing is the fastest way to level up your character than its a good investment of time for future wow gold farming operations. The faster you level up, the faster you get to farm for the big time gold.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-49264006678315601962007-12-06T18:53:00.000-08:002007-12-06T19:18:41.570-08:00Farming Mageweave ClothFarming Mageweave cloth is a good way to make some wow gold. I would say the best place to farm Mageweave for wow gold would be in southern Felwood from the Deadwood Furbolgs. The Furbolgs there have the highest drop rate for Mageweave Cloth that I have come across. They have a drop rate of about 60% with 2-4 cloths per drop. The Furbolgs here are not elites so they have a very fast respawn rate. This location is heavily farmed but still very profitable if your a higher level wow character.

If your a lower level between 30-40 then you might have more success wow gold farming Mageweave Cloth at the Arathi Highlands. The Boulderfist Ogres there have a 10% drop rate for the cloth. This is a lot less than Felwood, but you won't have to compete with 60's and 70's that farm there constantly. One more good spot for farming Mageweave Cloth for wow gold is at the Hillsbrad Foothills. There you can farm the Syndicate Thieves for Mageweave Cloth. The drop rate is fairly low, about 7%, but its not heavily farmed. These two locations are great spots for levels 30-40 to make some Warcraft gold.

The wow gold value of Mageweave Cloth can vary by server. It usually goes for around 4 gold a stack. Farming Mageweave Cloth for Warcraft gold is what got me through levels 45-55. I was making about 20 gold per hour in Felwood.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-20686245209553837432007-11-29T22:48:00.000-08:002007-11-29T23:45:34.396-08:00Auction house gold tipsAs you may already know, the auction house plays the biggest role in making gold in the world of Warcraft. How you choose to auction items can have a big effect on how much gold you make in Warcraft. Here are a few good tips I use to get the highest possible amount of gold for the items I farm.

The first auction house tip I want to talk about is about selling at the right time. To many people farm their items and go straight to the auction house to put them up. Yes you will make some gold doing this, but if if you're patient and wait to sell them at the right time then you could make a lot more gold. The price of items in the auction house go drastically up and down due to temporary saturations of the market. If you notice your market has an unusually high number of sellers then chances are the bids and buyouts are lower. If you hold off for a while the saturation will decrease some and your items will be worth more gold. Most smart sellers sell when the saturation subsides which means you will be competing with them if you do the same. This is a good thing as smart sellers go for the highest amount of gold possible which means you don't have to worry about newbies coming in and screwing up the market potential, at least for a while. The bottom line is to have patience when selling in the auction house. Wait until the time is right, less sellers and higher prices.

One of my favorite auction house gold strategies is to take over a specific market. To do this you will need some gold as an initial investment. If your market is pretty big this may be dangerous. If you have a ton of gold though it should work for almost any market. The idea is to buyout everyone selling the item you want to sell. If you can do this successfully without running out of gold then you will have complete control over the market. This will allow you to control the prices and set them higher than what you paid for them, producing a profit on every gold transaction. The upside to this strategy is you don't have to go around wow gold farming all over the place. You can just start buying all the items in your market and start raising prices. The downside to this auction house gold strategy is that you do have to spend time watching your market closely to make sure nobody has time to compete with you.

These are just a few auction house gold tips that should increase the value of the items you worked hard to farm. If you can learn the art of mastering the auction house then I guarantee you will be a rich Warcraft player with thousands of gold.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-22581686317544187212007-11-25T23:08:00.000-08:002007-11-29T22:47:08.477-08:00Mining Copper OreFarming Copper Ore is an awesome way to make some wow gold for low level players with mining as a profession. When I was a low level player I could afford pretty much anything I wanted that was available to my level. This was all because of Copper Ore. Copper Ore can be sold for 1-3 gold a stack depending on your server. If you smelt it into bars it will be worth slightly more. I could farm 3-4 stacks of the ore when I was a level five. Thats a pretty high amount of gold for such a low level player to earn.

I have found that the best place to mine Copper Ore is in the northern mountain borders of Elwynn Forest. There are at least 30 mines in the mountains and rock bluffs throughout Elwynn Forest. You will even find a few mines in the lakes and rivers in the region. While mining the ore you will also come across lots of Rough Stone which can be sold for around 20 silver. The occasional Malachite and Tigers Eye can also be farmed to make wow gold.

In the Sentinal Hill area of Westfall there are some more Copper Mines. There are not near as many as Elwynn Forest, but you can still get a decent amount of Copper there. I usually mine this area and kill the abundant Defias Trappers for copper, cloth, and experience points.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-70929754801109370602007-11-18T23:27:00.000-08:002007-12-11T21:41:11.080-08:00Chinese farmers going underBack in the day the Chinese farmers were making a ton of money selling Warcraft gold. They still are today but their profits have taken a huge dent. I'm pretty sure they're going to be out of business here shortly, at least for Warcraft. I believe this is a good thing as it makes the World of Warcraft more authentic. There are two key factors responsible for them going under.

The main reason is that it ruins the whole point of the game. Both Blizzard and the players know this. Recently tens of thousands of player's Warcraft accounts have been deleted due to buying gold from known gold sellers. Lets give Blizzard a high five for finally putting their foot down when they should.

Another adding factor for the decay of gold selling companies is from the Warcraft gold guides popping up on the internet. These Warcraft gold guides are pretty much taking money right out of their pockets. Professional gold farmers used to sell gold and characters to the Chinese farmers. A few of them like Derek have created a Warcraft gold guide based off the strategies they used to make gold. Real Warcraft gold guides like Dereks appeal to players more than buying gold over and over again. Theres also no risk of getting banned.

How much longer do Chinese gold farmers got? Not long I imagine. The slap from Blizzard knocked them down and the new gold guides are going to finish the job. Good bye guys I won't miss you!Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-58526190758018252252007-11-18T22:34:00.000-08:002007-11-18T23:13:00.640-08:00The Ace of ElementalsThe Ace of Elementals can sell for 30-60 gold depending on your server. Once a week at the Lake of Kel'Theril there is a water elemental invasion by Princess Tempestria who drops the Ace of Elementals and other blue items. You can also farm the Essence of Water from the Elementals. This isn't something you can do all the time but its worth checking out once a week.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-18364069035668865692007-11-18T22:14:00.000-08:002007-11-18T22:32:08.053-08:00Need some Motes?Throughout your quest in the World of Warcraft you will definately be needing motes of all sorts. Motes are needed to advance through the game but they are also decent gold makers if you have some extras to sell. Common Motes can be boughten cheap at the auction house. Here is where you can farm the rare motes for persoal use or to make some gold.

Motes of fire are best farmed at Skald in Blade's Edge Mountain. Motes of air are best farmed at the Altar of Shadows in Shadow Moon Valley. Motes of water can be farmed from the Lake Spirits in Nagrand. Motes are not the best gold makers in Warcraft, but they do bring in 2-3 gold a piece for the rare ones. This isn't to bad though if you come up with a good strategy of farming them at the locations I just described.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-77968997061253601712007-11-18T21:56:00.000-08:002007-11-30T19:25:49.628-08:00Orb of DeceptionThe Orb of Deception is a rare vanity item that very few people take the time to farm. A lot of people don't even know where its located. You do however have to be at least a level 55 or higher. The Orb can be farmed from the Dragons in Dire Mauls Arena. These Dragons also have a high drop rate for blue items. The Orb itself has a very low drop rate but is well worth the time once you get it. It can sell for 400-500 gold depending on your server. So far I have successfully farmed and sold the Orb of Deception three times. This is a great item to farm for gold in Warcraft if you got the patience.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-15515571812112416582007-11-18T21:27:00.000-08:002007-11-18T21:55:56.831-08:00A few basic yet common mistakes made when farming gold in WarcraftWarcraft gold farming is an art form in its own way. It takes time, knowledge, and lots of trial and error. Warcraft gold farming is definitely not something that can be mastered overnight, but with practice and knowledge it can be learned by anyone. Out of the nine million people that play the World of Warcraft only a very small percentage actually have wow gold farming mastered.

One of the biggest reasons people aren’t making as much gold as they’d like is because of a surprisingly basic concept. People spend too much time trying to make Warcraft gold when they are at a low or mid level. Of course you are going to need gold at these levels, but your main focus should be on leveling your wow character. Some of you may not know this but when you hit level 70 you are in the position to make a lot more gold in Warcraft. This position comes into play with questing. You get way more gold for completing quests at level 70 then you do for quests at lower levels. Blizzard made it this way to keep players still interested in the game after they gained the maximum experience.

Another common reason people are having trouble making gold in Warcraft is because they don’t take enough time to come up with a specific wow gold farming plan. People here from one guy that questing is the best way to farm gold, and then another guy says farming vanity items is the best farming technique. People get confused and try all of the wow gold farming techniques they’ve heard of and end up with little or no gold. What you should do is decide on a specific gold making plan that appeals to you and stick with it for at least a few weeks. Try tweaking it and adding variations to improve your gold per hour. I have made some simple tweaks to some of my runs and noticed an increase of 30 gold per hour. I only came up with these tweaks because I stuck with the same gold method even though it wasn’t producing a lot of gold at first. An example of when I did this one time was in Nagrand. I had a gold run I did in the shape of a circle. I would always have about a three minute pause after the run while waiting for the beasts to respawn. After doing this gold run about twenty times I realized there was a chest right off my path a ways. This chest has a high rate for blue items and produced an epic one time. I now hit this chest and one more while running this specific path to increase my gold per hour.

The bottom line here is don’t rush yourself to make wow gold. I know it can be frustrating but you need to take the time to level your character and come up with a good Warcraft gold farming plan. By doing this you can ensure that you will make a lot more gold.

When deciding on a gold farming technique you should try to pick something profitable and enjoyable to you at the same time. After all the World of Warcraft is a game, you're suspose to have fun. You will also probably make more gold using a gold farming technique you enjoy simply because you will do it more often.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-18027543330127270732007-11-17T23:40:00.000-08:002007-12-14T20:24:29.709-08:00Farming Crystal Infused LeatherCrystal Infused Leather sells for 10-20 gold a stack and is fairly easy to farm. The best place to farm it would be from the Bladespine Basilisk in Blade's Edge Mountains. The drop rate here is really high at 11%.

Another good spot for farming crystal infused leather is from the Quillfang Ravagers at Hellfire Peninsula. The drop rate here is about 2%. You can also expect some Fel Scales and the occassional green. The Fel Scales only sell for 1 gold a piece but are a handy ingredient for leather workers.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-30697887490947521862007-11-17T23:33:00.000-08:002007-12-14T20:24:29.709-08:00Where I do most of my skinningNagrand, one my favorite places in the World of Warcraft. Without a doubt Nagrand is one of the best places for high level skinners. The place is covered with all kinds of beasts. Truly a skinners dream come true. Some people are making upwards of 75 gold an hour by skinning like a mad man and completing the daily quests for Orgri'la and Sketties. There are three runs there that have produced a lot of gold for me. I've focused on skinning Nether Cobras and Clefthoof Bulls in this area and can now average 80 gold an hour. In one of my runs there is a treasure chest that produces blues and rarely an epic.

The Blade Edge Mountains are just as good a farming spot for skinners as Nagrand, if not better. One of the best things about wow gold farming at Blade Edge is the leather drop rate from beasts. It is surprisingly high compared to anywhere else in the Warcraft. The Lions at Blade Edge Mountains are known for having the highest drop rate of knothide leather. The Lions in this area are heavily farmed but you should still be able to make some gold. I can make about 65 gold an hour in this one triangular run I do there sometimes.

For skinners these two areas are probably the best in my opinion. They have the largest population of Beasts in the World of Warcraft. Bring a knife, some gloves, and an attitude and you can come up with some great wow gold farming techniques in these parts.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-79361025044316971792007-11-17T21:13:00.000-08:002007-12-14T20:24:29.710-08:00Gold farming in Shadowmoon Valley - Cobra ScalesAnother good farming spot for skinners is at Coilskar Point in Shadowmoon Valley (53,24). There you will find the Coilskar Cobra. Cobra Scales are dropped from these snakes and are only found at this location. Most people only see and farm the 3-5 snakes outside the cave. Big mistake as there are actually 10-15 more inside. You can average 5-7 Cobra Scales an hour by going after the cobras inside the cave. The scales go for 20-60 gold depending on your server. Make sure you use this gold tip quick while people are still unaware of this!Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831184979026643145.post-73608533098262597772007-11-17T20:19:00.000-08:002007-12-14T20:24:29.710-08:00Gold farming in Felwood - LeatherOne of my favorite farming spots for skinners is just north of Bloodvenom Post in Felwood (37,43). There you will find 10-15 Angerclaw Mauler Bears that can be killed fairly quickly. The respawn rate is very fast which is why this is such a great farming spot. You make gold from the gray items and leather. You can make anywhere from 10-15 gold an hour here with the various stackable gray items. The real gold however comes from the rugged and thick leather skinned from the poor beasts. You can make anywhere from 20-30 gold an hour from the leather depending on your server. Cassandra's Grace can also be dropped from the bears occasionally. This can go for around 30 gold. People are making a ton of gold from farming these bears and it is getting more popular everyday. You better jump on this while you can.Matadonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00480393903969534492noreply@blogger.com
