Jaden had fallen asleep on the coach. Jackson was climbing and hitting him. Eventually he settled down and just snuggled with Jaden. It was very cute. You can also see his new haircut.<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SlSo4PA_xiI/AAAAAAAAAhU/LXrqBToWkEs/s1600-h/Jackson+cuddling+with+Jaden.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356091540907214370" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SlSo4PA_xiI/AAAAAAAAAhU/LXrqBToWkEs/s320/Jackson+cuddling+with+Jaden.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SlSo3lW9sAI/AAAAAAAAAhM/a1iWHyzblGQ/s1600-h/Jackson+13mons.+old.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356091529725063170" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SlSo3lW9sAI/AAAAAAAAAhM/a1iWHyzblGQ/s320/Jackson+13mons.+old.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SlSo3b3BDxI/AAAAAAAAAhE/Bzeo1GolyCY/s1600-h/7.7.2009+Jackson+and+Jaden.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5356091527175147282" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SlSo3b3BDxI/AAAAAAAAAhE/Bzeo1GolyCY/s320/7.7.2009+Jackson+and+Jaden.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div>We had a great time camping. We went up on Friday night and stayed until Sunday Morning. Craig had 2 days in a row off. Which almost never happens. We went with our Friends Chris and Maren. They have a little boy named Lucas who just turned 3. Our campsite was right next to the bathrooms and spicet. It had two tent sites, so Craigs Dad came up for one night too. Chris and Maren had a camper they used. They did all the cooking. It was so nice. Maren actually twisted her anchel on Saturday afternoon so then Chris ended up doing most things. I did offer. The kids had a hard time going to sleep. Chris had bought a hammock, so I was able to Rock Jackson to sleep for a nap and bedtime. Jackson loved pushing the Tonka truck and walking out into the road and parking areas. All the men and kis went for a hike on Saturday. They had a good time. You can see in some of the pictures they are barefoot. They had walked in some water. Lexy and Jaden kept taking off their shoes and walking around barefoot. It drove me nuts. Especially becuse Lexy and Lucas had touched something that gave them hives and made them really itchy. Luckily Maren had brought benadrill. However that night Lexy woke up a bunch. She would get out of her sleeping bag and stand in the middle of the tent saying, "I'm cold". Or she would try to chat with Jaden. Jackson, once asleep did wonderfully. Sunday morning Craig, Chris and Jackson went on another hike. So Maren and I got to play some cards. (Ziggity) The kids played at the little creek by our tent for a little while, but then they wanted to watch us play cards. Finally we let them watch a movie in the car. I had done that the night before just to get Lexy to go to sleep. All in all we had a good time. <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4d5441794f4451774d544d3d0d0a&amp;blogview=true&amp;campaign=blog_playback_link" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play this Smilebox scrapbook: camping July 4th" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4d5441794f4451774d544d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=smilebox&amp;campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own scrapbook - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/scrapbooks" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox scrapbook</a></td></tr></table></div></div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-4398678226197623530?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-50841105247083337322009-07-03T07:05:00.000-07:002009-07-03T07:11:35.149-07:00My CountryI will not be at the house on the 4th of July. So I will post something now. We have been watching a movie about President John Adams and the making of the United States of America. It has taken at least a week to watch. I have missed a lot of it. Craig had to watch it for school. It was amazing what the people went through to start this nation. I am Thankful and proud to be an American (U.S. citizen). May our leaders figure it out and return to the ideals that our nation was founded upon. And focus more on the people than on themselves.<br /><br /><a href="http://media.photobucket.com/image/us" target="_blank"><img src="http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o182/clemel1/US-WavingFlag.gif" border="0" /></a><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-5084110524708333732?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-20669024800425844292009-07-02T06:45:00.000-07:002009-07-02T06:54:08.166-07:00picture update<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sky6wMG1T5I/AAAAAAAAAg8/kZBw1KRKD0Q/s1600-h/Lexy+in+a+daze.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353859394083049362" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 258px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 258px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sky6wMG1T5I/AAAAAAAAAg8/kZBw1KRKD0Q/s320/Lexy+in+a+daze.jpg" border="0" /></a> I had things I wanted to write, but have sort of forgotten. So here are some pictures that have yet to be posted. Here is one of Lexy zoned out in the car. She sits sideways becuase her back hurts.<br /><br />Below is a picture of Cody, Jaden and Jacob when they were here to visit. They went over to the carnival and Grandma bought everyone pizza.<br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sky6vy2WTHI/AAAAAAAAAg0/NI8-9bXvEdc/s1600-h/parry+cousins+with+pizza+guy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353859387303021682" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 258px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 258px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sky6vy2WTHI/AAAAAAAAAg0/NI8-9bXvEdc/s320/parry+cousins+with+pizza+guy.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sky6f_c-7hI/AAAAAAAAAgs/tiuq7Vcb4P8/s1600-h/Jaden+iceskating.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353859115808386578" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 258px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 258px" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sky6f_c-7hI/AAAAAAAAAgs/tiuq7Vcb4P8/s320/Jaden+iceskating.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sky6finS9PI/AAAAAAAAAgk/_XXBQ7pJhKk/s1600-h/Jaden+at+icerink.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353859108067013874" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 258px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 258px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sky6finS9PI/AAAAAAAAAgk/_XXBQ7pJhKk/s320/Jaden+at+icerink.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Here is Jacob and Jaden using the walkers to help them skate. Lots of crying and complaining. In the afternoon Craig's nephews Cody and Jacob came over. I spent the afternoon getting ready to go do coupons. Charleen came home early from work and went with the family (excluding me) to the ice rink. Jaden had a great time. They had walkers there that you could use on the ice. Craig says Jaden was all over the place. He even got a free 30min. lesson because only one person showed up for the class they were having. Then they went over to West Fest (carnival) and played a game and had pizza. They came back to the house to get their floaties for swimming. I had just gotten home from 2 of my stores so decided to go with them. We had a great time at the pool. Craig was on the big water slide with Cody and Jacob. I was in the little area with Lexy and Jackson going down the ducky slide. Jaden was around from place to place. He can touch through the whole pool. I went over to tell Charleen to have Craig come back over to the kiddie area so that one of us could watch Lexy and one of us could get Jackson back into the warm water. Lexy came with me so I was carrying Jackson and their two floaties. Charleen was explaining how Craig had learned to go fast on the water slide. I turned around to spot Lexy and the next thing I knew I saw her in the deeper area. Her head was under the water and her arms moving around. She had walked off. She has become so comfortable in the pool. We were thinking of having her take lessons. I dropped the floaties and still holding Jackson (No time to hand him off) ran as fast as I could through the water. We were very blessed that she was right in front of a lifeguard. The lifeguard had noticed her coming into the deeper area. She said that Lexy was kind of swimming sideways and could tell Lexy no longer could touch. So she was already making plans to get in the water. I can't remember if she jumped into the water before I noticed Lexy or after. But the lifeguard did end up saving Lexy. Lexy was coughing and gagging a little. She was pretty shaken-up. We had to go and fill out some paperwork. The lifeguards were amazed that she was only 2 years old. I said well, her Dad is 7ft. 1inch. Once girl says, "I was trying to tell you there was a really tall guy here." They wanted to know how old Jackson was and I told them he just turned one. They were blown away. (side note, Jackson is now just over 26lbs, and Lexy is 40 lbs. )Afterward she just wanted to hold on to me as much as she could. We did finally get her to loosen her grip on me and go down the duckie slide twice. But once she heard it was time to go, she was pretty excited. She never gets excited about leaving the pool.<br />Grandpa Parry was there as well. So when she saw someone she new she would say, "I fall in waterfall." Then put on a very sad face with her bottom lip out. "I come back next time. I be okay." "I come back wiff Jayen. I be okay." She was very cute. But she knew something scary had just happened to her.<br />So I am thankful to all lifeguards. I know I go in there and think, "Man its just a bunch of punk Teenagers. But its that Punk Teenager who saved Lexy's life". I had a hard time sleeping last night. Its hard to not wonder what would have happened had I not turned when I did. Or if She was not literally right in front of the lifeguard.</div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-256478250740706957?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-40304103793826091632009-06-23T15:50:00.000-07:002009-06-23T15:55:13.865-07:00ScoliosisHowever that is spelt. Well, our trip to the Dr. was kind of crazy. Lets just say, Lexy managed to break the footrest on the stroller. I looked like a Parent who had no control over her children.<br />Anyhow. Jackson's curve is now something like 43 degrees. So he will be put into a brace as well. He is just starting to walk. So he will have to learn again. He will probably get his brace sometime in August. He also needs to have an MRI to make sure there are no other underlining causes. That will be in August too because the soonest they have available we will be out of town. Lexy's back is now at a 26 degree curve. Which is pretty good for only wearing at night. However she complains when we put it on. She may need a new one. And if we are in the car very long, she complains of her back hurting and starts leaning forward or to the side. So its uncomfortable for her. Her legs. Well they say its pretty savear (can't spell, pretty bad). But nothing has been decided.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-4030410379382609163?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-38414770128621214852009-06-23T07:34:00.000-07:002009-06-23T07:37:43.651-07:00Awwwhh! That's better.Well I got into the Dentist yesterday. They said they could redue my temporary crown. So I said okay and got numbed up without any sleeping pills or laughing gas. Yup, that should prove that it hurt that bad. And a wha-la! I was better. No more pain. I can now chew and sleep. Now its just back to my good old headaches. Lexy just looked so cute today I had to take some pictures. So a threw in a couple others too. We are headed to her and Jackson's back appointments. Hopefully we will get good news. Hopefully they will give us a little more insight to her leg as well. <br /><br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4d5441774e5441354f54633d0d0a&amp;blogview=true&amp;campaign=blog_playback_link" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play this Smilebox slideshow: June 23rd" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4d5441774e5441354f54633d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=smilebox&amp;campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own slideshow - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/slideshows" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox slideshow</a></td></tr></table><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-3841477012862121485?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-68204771398114922562009-06-20T10:05:00.000-07:002009-06-20T10:09:19.355-07:00Wow, that was bad.Wow. David (my brother) wrote and said he could tell I was on pain killers when I wrote my last posting. I thought. Not possible. I read over it a few times. Well, I just read it again and yes. That was bad. I know I am normally a bad speller. But this was embarrasing. But, I will save it because it was it is. I am trying not to take the pain killers that way I can try and take care of the kids. I did eventually take some at 2am this morning. I needed sleep, and I also needed to be alert by 9am for Jaden's soccer game. I took all the kids. It was kind of not great. I couldn't wait for it to be over. My mouth is starting to hurt really bad again. And I can only chew on one side of my mouth, so then everything gets really tired. My mouth didn't hurt at all before going to the dentist. This may be why I don't like the dentist. I'm just fine until I show up there. I have 5 more days until I get to go back and hopefully what they do next will help me feel better.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-6820477139811492256?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-84621348034422128882009-06-18T06:49:00.001-07:002009-06-18T06:53:31.517-07:00RootcanalWell. First we tried to take a bike ride in the morning. Jaden just screamed and cried the whole time. We barely made it to then of our street and back. And the kids carrier would fall off if I went over any pumps. So instead Craig mowed the lawn before the rain. I took my meds for the dentist. They were like sleeping pills. Then I took one more when I got there. Holly too, me so Craig could take the lawn mower in to be fixed finally. Anyway, things went well. But they put a temporary camp on which is not feeling good. I can't eat on the right side of my mouth. I took my pain kills and took a nap. We decided to see a movie. Craig dropped me off to get the tickets, but I started to not feel well, so I made my say over to some pushes and threw up a couple times. Felt better then. But still slept through mostly everything. We got home and I fell asleep in bed. I guess Craig and Charleen put everyone to sleep. I dn't really know what happened. But my mouth hurts and I am actually really woosey and tired again. better go.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-8462134803442212888?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-58197284798598565292009-06-15T20:29:00.000-07:002009-06-16T09:00:33.578-07:00misserable, productive dayWell, I will be short. Ran a bunch of errands today. Kids did really bad. Mostly Lexy. Screamed for half an hour at Ikea because she is not potty trained and couldn't go in the kids area. Well, I had to let Jaden go because I had already pumped him all up for it. Anyhow, people wanted to give me ideas on how to calm her. Gee, Thanks! Naturally I am stupid and have no clue how to deal with my 2 1/2 yr. old throwing a fit. The only reason she cried that long was because I had to wait for my number to be called so that I could get a replacement door for our TV stand that I guess Jackson broke a while ago.<br /><br />Anyhow after 4 hrs of awful accomplishment we got home. Then we got Jaden a bike with Training wheels. (Current bike turns out not right size, and no training wheels.) Anyhow. We get home he rides it a bunch. Takes a few falls, one of which is into the rose bush. He screamed like crazy for help. People came looking out of their houses. Dinner started to burn a little. Amazingly - He got back on later and we went for a ride. Then I took him around the block again, and he fell 4-5 times. Luckily he did get back on each time. And once it was into someones beautiful flower beds. He told Grandma Parry that he doesn't like to ride his new bike, but he wants to keep it. I had been very happy to return it. No, fights when he told me we should take it bakc. So he changed his mind.<br />Jackson is still very cranky. But after little sleep during the day and a warm bath. He went to bed without any trouble tonight. Oh-also got him a bed rail from kid to kid.<br />Craig was getting after the kids for always pulling the pettles off the Roses and other flowers. So he's trying to Lexy's attention and says, "Lexy". And she replies in a dignified way. "Yes, your Majesty?" Cracked us up. Kids no longer in trouble for that moment.<br />Okay. Those were the highlights of a bad and good kind of day.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-5819728479859856529?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-64461327714893295302009-06-13T07:02:00.000-07:002009-06-13T07:33:09.714-07:00I love to see the Temple<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SjOzs7_Xd6I/AAAAAAAAAfs/rWgvxcs6j2c/s1600-h/IMG_5563.JPG"><span style="font-family:arial;color:#000000;">Well not a whole lot going on here. I have to say once again, WE LOVE JACKSON'S NEW BED. At least I do because now I sleep through the night. Occassionally I have to get up, but he goes right back to sleep. Its like he is sleep crawling, and opening doors. Which by the way he is really good at now. If I go downstairs to do the laundry he heads for the bathroom. Problem is I can't find a safetly lock that fits right. I've even ordered online, but then had to pay shipping to return. ARgh.<br />Anyhow. We went to the Oquirh (not sure of spelling) Temple yesterday to view it. We like it a lot better than the Draper Temple. Lexy did better this time. It was a good afternoon. However it felt like a Sunday. So the kids were really confussed when we got up this morning (Saturday).<br />We have been having the craziest weather. There have been storms and rain, rain, rain. I'm just not use to rain anymore. I live the lightning storms. But the rain there has been so many floods, and roads (like I-84) closed. Its crazy.<br />Jaden and Lexy have been enjoying the dressup clothes. There is a picture of Jaden as a female Dr. holding a shield. They are very inventive.<br />I finally went to the Dentist. I figured its time. With a bunch of fillings that have fallen out or broken. So the bad news is, it will take 3 visits with very strong pills to do the work. I have 1, possible 2 rootcanals. Lots of fillings and things. Good news is, my gums look pretty great. So maybe dentures aren't in my near future. What a reliefe. Crazy thing is, we will max out our Dental insurance by visit #2. Is that possible. I didn't realize there was a max. We will have to review our Dental plan. But it makes since. We have all had major Dental work this year.<br />Well, that about covers it I think.</span><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5346814767217997730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SjOzs7_Xd6I/AAAAAAAAAfs/rWgvxcs6j2c/s320/IMG_5563.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SjOzslMHgJI/AAAAAAAAAfk/6lYS-ESDVZo/s1600-h/IMG_5560.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5346814761097461906" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SjOzslMHgJI/AAAAAAAAAfk/6lYS-ESDVZo/s320/IMG_5560.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><br /><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SjOzsBISU8I/AAAAAAAAAfU/dnd6InxEic0/s1600-h/IMG_5565.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5346814751417717698" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SjOzsBISU8I/AAAAAAAAAfU/dnd6InxEic0/s320/IMG_5565.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SjOzr-smuuI/AAAAAAAAAfM/oaFpHdnD6BE/s1600-h/IMG_5564.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5346814750764743394" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/SjOzr-smuuI/AAAAAAAAAfM/oaFpHdnD6BE/s320/IMG_5564.JPG" border="0" /></a> </div></div></div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-6446132771489329530?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-46643732767132498552009-06-06T20:41:00.000-07:002009-06-06T21:21:52.141-07:00Last of the Bithday PartyingWow, we have had a great week. Thanks Jackson for turning one. We had his official party on June 5th, Friday. It got really windy just a little before the party. So the cool Birthday sign was ripped and it was slightly chilly for those who went in the splash pad Jackson got for his birthday from us. We had a great time thou. We love Water Parties I have decided. After the party Jaden went home with his Grandpa Parry and Grandma Jill. He had a great time with them. They did a Transformer puzzle and then today (saturday) they went to an air show at Hill Air Force Base. They had a lot of fun and didn't get home until 7:30 tonight.<br />I did some garage saling with the other two kids. I found a hiking backpack for Holly to carry Brigham in. It was only $10, however by the end of our hike, her sholders were soar and she was all red where it had been rubbing. So, we ended up going hiking. Craig decided after work that he did want to go after all and not to the air show. So we were back on with our original plan. We felt a little bad thou because Jaden loves hiking. Lexy does too, but she just can't do very much. And we have to move slowly. She did pretty good this time.<br /><br />Oh, yeah, Jaden's swimming trunks split in the rearend during the party. So We are down to one pair.<br /><br /><br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#ffffff" border="0"><tbody><tr><td><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4f5463784d7a557a4d773d3d0d0a&amp;blogview=true&amp;campaign=blog_playback_link" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play this Smilebox scrapbook: Jackson party 6.5.09" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4f5463784d7a557a4d773d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=smilebox&amp;campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own scrapbook - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/scrapbooks" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox scrapbook</a></td></tr></table><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4f5463784d7a4d794f513d3d0d0a&amp;blogview=true&amp;campaign=blog_playback_link" target="_blank"></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=smilebox&amp;campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"></a></td></tr><tr><td align="middle"><p></p><p><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#ffffff" border="0"><tbody><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4f5463784d7a51304d673d3d0d0a&amp;blogview=true&amp;campaign=blog_playback_link" target="_blank"><img style="BORDER-RIGHT: medium none; BORDER-TOP: medium none; BORDER-LEFT: medium none; BORDER-BOTTOM: medium none" height="303" alt="Click to play this Smilebox scrapbook: 6.6.09 cottonwood canyon" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4f5463784d7a51304d673d3d0d0a.jpg" width="386" /></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=smilebox&amp;campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img style="BORDER-RIGHT: medium none; BORDER-TOP: medium none; BORDER-LEFT: medium none; BORDER-BOTTOM: medium none" height="46" alt="Create your own scrapbook - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" width="386" /></a></td></tr><tr><td align="middle"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/scrapbooks" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox scrapbook</a></td></tr></tbody></table></p></td></tr></tbody></table><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-4664373276713249855?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-66087905214431842292009-06-05T06:25:00.000-07:002009-06-05T06:45:01.182-07:00Birthday fun<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sikg7U8AgUI/AAAAAAAAAfE/3uJdeMPAD7U/s1600-h/Lexy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5343838636456575298" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 258px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 258px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sikg7U8AgUI/AAAAAAAAAfE/3uJdeMPAD7U/s320/Lexy.jpg" border="0" /></a> I took this picture of Jackson, and Lexy insisted that I take a picture of her too. They didn' have anything for him to do. So We decided to hike Doghnut falls. Its up in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Richie came along with us. Its a beautiful drive. It felt like we were in Washington. It was green with lots of trees and water. The kids did really good. Lexy complained a little, but she made it. Craig only carried her a little ways. But we didn't get to see the great falls (from underneath). The path and bridge were washed out. Argh. But we plan to go back and do a bunch of the other hikes. Its tuff thou with Lexy. So here are the pictures.</a> these pictures are a little mixed up.<br /><br />Here is Jackson when he woke up. Later he drank some spot shot from under the sink. We drove up to Jordanell (not sure about spelling). The kids played at the park, water, sand, rode bikes and we had a picnic. We were there for almost 3 hours. It was great. We want to go back with swimming suits to do some swimming. It was a fun family outing. We look forward to taking others there this summer. We are even thinking of doing some camping there. The kids had a great time getting wet. Jaden is also showing interest in riding his bike. So that is good. When we got home the kids had early baths. Lexy wanted her pacifier and it was only 7:30. So I was able to keep her happy until almost 8 then put her to bed so she could have it. Jaden played outside with some kids that were visiting the area. He was in his pajamas and slippers, but it was all good. <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#ffffff" border="0"><tbody><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4f5459334d6a59784d773d3d0d0a&amp;blogview=true&amp;campaign=blog_playback_link" target="_blank"><img style="BORDER-RIGHT: medium none; BORDER-TOP: medium none; BORDER-LEFT: medium none; BORDER-BOTTOM: medium none" height="303" alt="Click to play this Smilebox slideshow: Jordanell" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4f5459334d6a59784d773d3d0d0a.jpg" width="386" /></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=smilebox&amp;campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img style="BORDER-RIGHT: medium none; BORDER-TOP: medium none; BORDER-LEFT: medium none; BORDER-BOTTOM: medium none" height="46" alt="Create your own slideshow - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" width="386" /></a></td></tr><tr><td align="middle"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/slideshows" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox slideshow</a></td></tr></tbody></table><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-5368209650960095871?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-77469148396234285602009-06-04T06:48:00.000-07:002009-06-04T06:55:50.698-07:00Hiking the Y<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4f5459334d6a59344e673d3d0d0a&amp;blogview=true&amp;campaign=blog_playback_link" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play this Smilebox slideshow: HIking the Y" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4f5459334d6a59344e673d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=smilebox&amp;campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own slideshow - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/slideshows" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox slideshow</a></td></tr></table><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-7746914839623428560?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-21169654327447192982009-06-02T11:11:00.000-07:002009-06-02T11:23:13.094-07:00Almost there!Yeah!!! Jackson walked last night. First he did like 2 or 3 steps, then I came in the room and he did 6. Then we got a couple more out of him before he decided crawling was much more fun. We are very excited. June 1st he walked. On Saturday May 30th, he stood up all by himself. Our Bishop got ahold of him after a baptism. Then stood him up and let go. Jackson stood for almost a minute. (Probably just 30 seconds). It was amazing. He had never done that. We know he can do this stuff, he just doesn't care to. Hurray. I hope he is a hardcore walker by the Reunion.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-2116965432744719298?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-30434312580297878082009-05-30T10:37:00.000-07:002009-05-30T10:43:57.857-07:00sleep singingI have to write this down before I forget. Last night and went into the boys room and make sure Jackson had his blankets on. Jaden started singing "R-E-S-C-U-E rescue aid society.." then trailed off. Its the song from the Movie "The rescuers" . It cracked me up. <br />Jackson has been sleeping better in his new bed. He sleep all the way through the night twice, and last night only needed help 2 times getting back to sleep. He does go to sleep later because he is not boxed in. So he gets out, opens the door and comes out to me, or lays in the hallway and cries. Yes, I don't know if I mentioned that he opens doors now. He suprised me in the shower the other day. So now I have to lock the bathroom door.<br /><br />Craig took Jaden, Katie (Holly's girl) and a Friend from Church, Thomas and hiked to the "Y" yesterday evening. They had a great time. I will post those pictures in a little while.<br />Today was another soccer game. Jaden was nervous, but had a good time. Even though he kept asking why he had to play this game.<br />Oh, we also had Kindergarten orientation yesterday. It was great. We are very excited. Jaden seemed okay with the idea. So this may actually work. We love the teacher we met, and the principal. We like the learning ideas and that we are expected to help out at the school. So this will be good for Jaden and me.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-3043431258029787808?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-82110065870399708332009-05-27T05:58:00.001-07:002009-05-27T06:13:27.390-07:00Blame your little brother, not your Big one. Here is Jackson trying to turn on the hose.<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sh078VKt-XI/AAAAAAAAAcE/SYMfRHEJWZo/s1600-h/Jackson+turning+on+hose+1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5340490640791566706" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 258px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 258px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sh078VKt-XI/AAAAAAAAAcE/SYMfRHEJWZo/s320/Jackson+turning+on+hose+1.jpg" border="0" /></a> He is always trying to get the hose one. He eventually climbed down into the dirt to get a better angle.<br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sh078HXHbBI/AAAAAAAAAb8/OjCwiG9dnBs/s1600-h/Jackson+turning+on+hose.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5340490637085469714" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 258px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 258px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sh078HXHbBI/AAAAAAAAAb8/OjCwiG9dnBs/s320/Jackson+turning+on+hose.jpg" border="0" /></a><br />Here he is using Lexy as a climbing post. She was not very happy and ran off, so he fell down.<br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sh0773h36-I/AAAAAAAAAb0/-HcnpR1p9tI/s1600-h/Jackson+climbing+up+Lex.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5340490632835623906" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 258px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 258px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_xSa4BGg7Ads/Sh0773h36-I/AAAAAAAAAb0/-HcnpR1p9tI/s320/Jackson+climbing+up+Lex.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div>Well, it was funny. Yesterday I found that Lexy was turning on the sprinkler in the backyard. They didn't have their swimsuites on. So I kept yelling out the window to shut it off. Jaden says Lexy was turning it on. which I could see because Jaden was on the Trampoline when it turned on. I kept telling him to get off the Tramp and turn it off. So the kids finally come in all soaked. Lexy says, "Mom, I all wet." I say, "I know you were turning on the sprinkler when you were not supposed to." Lexy says (in her very gruff voice)"Nu -uh. Jayen(Jaden) did." I say, " Yes, I saw you." Lexy, "Nope! Not me Jayen" "Lexy?" "NNNOOOO, me not. Jayen"</div><br /><div>We laughed so hard. So she is already blaming others the problem is you are supposed to blame the younger sibling who can't speak up for themselves. I'm sure she will eventually get it.</div><br /><div>Jackson still has a hard time sleeping. He just wants someone to sleep with him. So if you lay with him for a good long time then he will sleep through the night. Well, He finally got to sleep real good last night and then he fell out of bed. No, problem, I just put him back in and he slept until 6:30. So I need to try and buy a bed rail.</div><br /><div>Yesterday morning Lexy wanted to know what happened to Wampa (Grandpa). I guess even though she wouldn't hardly talk with you Dad, you made an impression. Last night I asked Jaden ( I was outside vacuuming the car) if Grandma was still home. He says, "Which Grandma?" I say, "The Grandma who lives with us." He seemed a little confussed. I explained that I could see Grandma's car but wanted to know if she was still in the house. After a minute he realized I was talking about Grandma Parry. </div><br /><div>We had a great visit with my Parents. Yesterday Craig said he just had a blah day. Couldn't shake the weird feeling. I said, "Well, maybe you are missing my Parents." He says,"Maybe, we had a really nice visit." He really liked just talking with people and especially Dad this time. So that was nice.</div></div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-8211006587039970833?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-85212844150389162482009-05-26T10:14:00.000-07:002009-05-26T10:18:06.632-07:00Its been a long time.Well I have missed a lot of stuff. So I have like 4 different slide shows, so keep scrolling down. This one has our Dog we had for a day. He was the perfect dog. No shedding, hypo allergenic etc. The kids loved him and were so ruff. He was house trained, but not at our house. So after a few accidents, and then a pooping one, I called them back to return him. I already have a baby and toddler at home. So maybe another time. He was so cute thou. Even Jaden would pick him up.<br /><br />Mom and Dad have been in town the last 2 weeks so we have done some fun things. It was great to have them come and stay with us. The kids got bunkbeds this weekend, but I didn't take pictures of it. It has been the highlight of their past few days.<br /><br />I don't really have time to tell more about the photos. So this is a video of Jackson eating. He is quite the mess. We had a nice visit with Erin. Jaden I think was very smitten. If he didn't see Aunt Erin, he wanted to know where she was. When he woke up Sunday morning he emmediately wanted to go down and see how she had slept. On Monday he just couldn't figure out why she had to go home. He thought up the idea that she should just go get Braedon and Zachary and bring them back here with us.Kayleen had mentioned the Mary talks about how Beautiful she is. Lexy does the same thing. She is always saying, "I look so pretty." "My eyes Pretty." "My Hair Pretty." "Oh, I so Pretty!" Cracks us up, but at least she has good self confidence right now.<br /><br />Jackson and Lexy are developing new/worse behavior problems. Lexy is throwing a lot more fits. She woke up this morning came upstairs and threw herself and the floor and started screaming. She can go almost all day. Then Jackson was upset about something all morning so I finally took the two of them for a ride. Craig took Jaden to go golfing with his Dad.<br />Jackson is following my from room to room Pulling everything out of the drawers and tables. I can't keep anything clean. Now he likes to try and turn the hot water heater up and down.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-6354136035264998641?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-74674477243233476882009-04-30T06:25:00.000-07:002009-04-30T06:30:42.540-07:00Well, we have been keeping busy doing who knows what. Yesterday we took our van in. There was a lot of screatching when we drove. Turns out we were really out of brake pads. It had only been screaching for a week. Anyway, we managed to fit us all into our little Echo. Granted Jaden was not sitting in a carseat. But it worked, and our little Echo truly was the Engine that could.<br />Craig has been working on the lawn and it looks great. Now we just have to figure out what to do with the flower beds. They don't really have any flowers growing back. Plus I tried to trim some trees in the front by our door, and I think I may have killed them. The green has never come back.<br />I have been trying to exercise before I go to my crossing, but Jackson was up crying all night that I didn't really get any sleep, so I may have to do it when we get home. He is always crying and wanting to be held. I can't take him to the doctor because we are disputing some bills, and no one will answer my questions, or call me back when they says they will check on it. So Jackson will turn 11 months next month and still has not been to a 9 month appointment. Luckily we don't have swine Flu or these guys would really get it.<br /><br />Okay have to go, Jackson is throwing such a fit he has now hit his head 3 times on the table.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-7467447724323347688?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5831114115142172245.post-45193312176232107282009-04-26T21:00:00.001-07:002009-04-26T21:11:43.428-07:00WeekendWell, I don't remember what we did on Friday other than spend some time with Holly. JoAnna Cross came over so the kids can play. Saturday I took Jaden to the Rec center were he got his soccer Uniform and pictures taken. Then in the afternoon we had a convert Baptism. Craig got off work early. He took Jaden with him to fill the font and get things ready. Jaden had a great time. He visited with the Sister Missionaries and other people that were there. I came over and got some things ready and then came back again early with the other kids to finish setting up. It was a nice Baptism. The kids did pretty good. Afterwards the family invited us to go to dinner with them. So We did. We had a nice time. Towards the end Lexy was running around and screaming like crazy with our friends little boy, luckily we were in our own room so we hopefully were not too disruptive.<br /><br />It was just a nice day. It got Jaden really excited about getting baptized which made it fun for us too. Plus we were pleased because the Bishopric was very impressed with the presentation of the Baptism with pictures and nice programs and refreshments. <br /><br />Craig gave a talk today about missionary work. (He is ward mission leader, again) When leaving Church Jaden saw the Bishop in the hallway, so he walks up to him with a bit of a swagger, and says, "Hey Bishop!" very enthusiastic. Amazing, he is really in a be friendly and kind to strangers. We love that our Bishop and his wife like our kids. Makes us feel special. Jaden had gotten a Kit-Kat bar from his primary teacher. Lexy came out of nursery so excited about her picture that she had colored but when she saw his Kit-Kat bar she emmidiately crumpled her picture up and threw it on the ground. We went to his Father's for dinner and had a nice time.<br /><br />Jackson is in to everything and everywhere. He is up and down the stairs and opening and getting everything out. He loves to wrestle, growl, and bite me and my clothes. I think that sums things up real quick like.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/5831114115142172245-4519331217623210728?l=parryupdate.blogspot.com'/></div>Mindyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15185732526274511885noreply@blogger.com1
