Well, heading off to Croatia tomorrow and from there hopefully to Serbia for the Exit festival..I so want to go but it seems there are some last minute things that might not work out so.....fingers crossed...will post when I have some good pics of this week...

Yes, another year has gone by and my twins are now 9 years old! Their birthday is actually tomorrow, but we celebrated today for comodity sake, as you can see they wanted a fairy castle cake so I called the Master Chef(a.k.a. Kc), who graciosly agreed to make it for them with a tiny bit of help from me...:p....they has fun and got so big in this last year, they also just passed thier exams in italian school for 4th grade...I'm so proud of them...

When I leave Italy to go live anywhere else, I miss it immensely
I hate having dry skin on my hands.
I love Kenny G. music.
I talk way too fast.
Last year I left the old continent for the first time.
I type with only one hand.
I like neatly kept gardens with lots of flowers but hate gardening.
I want to go see Australia.
I was 19 when I took a plane for the first time.
There are places of my body that I would “fix” with plastic surgery.
I seriously dislike driving and never do it, but I have a license since 10 years.
I have no patience for those restaurants where they take eons to serve you.
I’ve been twice under total anesthesia.
I saw a baby being born and cut his umbilical cord.
I’m scared of, and loathe flying insects.
I’ve actually had the muscles in my eyes moved from one position to another.
I don’t know how to rollerblade
I think that one of the worse feelings in the world is that of missing people.
Watching movies helps me to relax.

I know, it was soppoused to be 25 things but I started working on this list 2 months ago when my sis Dora decided to ask me to write something like this out, and everytime something would come to mind I'd write it down...but now I've decided to post it as it is as the last post for this month...enjoy...

Yes, I have become a deliquent blogger since my Facebook addiction started taking over me and since I stopped having intelligent things to write for the dear readers of this blog to read(they must be very few)...anyhow, not much has happened since my last post apart the fact that I went to Venice again(twice in less than a month), but this time it was because my sis and her whole home from Croatia was going too, so I decided to take the 3 older girls in our home to meet up with them, and it was fun especially for the kids running around like a bunch of maniacs...:p.......shortly after that, in that same week, I decide to go to Croatia to visit my sister doing it in one day!...granted, it's not that far but to try to do it in 24 hours was quite the trip..but it was worth it, and I had fun, apart the fact of coming home the next morning after having travelled half the night to face cooking and cleaning for as my day's work...but hey, that's life and sometimes you need to grab the chance to do fun things as they present themselves even if means putting up with a few less hours of sleep....well, I will be posting pics of my second Venice trip soon enough..till then, back to FB..:p

I've been wanting to put these pics up since awhile, and only got around to doing it now...these boats are simple and small and yet so beatiful and artistic...the girls so wanted to be able to get a ride on one but the price was scary...told them to start saving up for it...

After having lived in this area of Italy for so long and having never been to Venice, we decided it was about time, and so for family day we and some other ppl set off to see the "water city"....it was a such a beatiful day, although we did quite a bit of walking..there is so much to see, it is truly and an amazing place..these are just a couple of pics from a bridge view (one of the many)..will most lots more pics soon..I'm just too tired right now...enjoy..

Don't know why Erica was making that face...I guess she was caught offguard.... well, now that it's been 10 days that I've had my operation I can say thatI'm finally starting to see almost normally..this last week was a bit tough trying to do stuff and get around, and man I sure started appreciating my eyes! It's gonna take about a month for them to be completly normal, without any swelling, redness on the white part, ect; but apart from that I really do hope that this sugery had the desired effect and that is having eyes that can focus without any difficult..please pray for that..I'm going for another check up at the end of April so till then no scary pics of me..lol..

Yup, finally home after a long but fun week at the ED seminar in Spain..all hail to those who organized it, they really gave it their all..it was quite a bit of information to absorb in such a short amount of time but it was so awesome to be able to get all expirience that others shared...defently helped to renew my vision and set some definite goals of things I want to accomplish as a teacher...seeing friends again was also real nice as it's hard to get around these days and see ppl you haven't seen in a lifetime..oh well, I'm tired right now and don't want to go sorting out which pics I want to post, but will do it soon..for now I'll leave you with one that got taken of some of us girls on Saturday night when we went out to a disco..enjoy...

.....that I have not posted, I know, but truly there was nothing of intrest to post and lately myself and the kids have been sick with the lastest flu going around which seems we have just come out of now...but this month there is something cool happening which is the ED seminar, in Spain and which I'm very excited about..we're leaving Wednesday and staying there a week..lots of good training on the way...so when I come back there will be some nice photos on this blog of the happy people there..for now I'll just leave you with pictures of my twins getting to be little ladies..

Where I was on St. Valentine's day

On a bus, with the three older girls waiting to leave for an organized day at the mountains...
The day was beatiful, yet cold..

and the ice-skating which they did for hours....yup, I so wanted to wish you all a beatiful St. Valentine's day, but I was since the wee hours of the morning getting ready for the day...a fried of ours that takes kids to the mountains for skiing lessons, invited us to go along and and enjoy as well...so me, my sister-in law, her little son and the 3 older girls of the home went on the bus with the group of kids and their cartakers...so when we got there, the other kids went to lessons and I took the girls to play in the huge amount of snow and ice-skating and then to eat in the resturant with the whole group....well, needless to say at the end of the day we were wiped out but happy..especially the kids...belated wishes everyone...I did have a good excuse though....

After the week we spent in Rome, seems I was a little under the weather cause I got sick a day later, and not just a little sick but a fever and a high one at that...and I never get sick..(last famous words)...anyhow, after 3 days my fever is gone but I feel quite weak and need to slowly start getting back up on my feet...I hate this flu, it's been around for so long and it just won't seem to go...please pray for us..no pics at the moment, wouldn't want to scare you with the looks of my face right now...catch you all soon...hopefully feeling much better..

This morning I got to see my dad just before he was taking his flight back to Mex...he had come to Italy only for a week to do paper work..the girls were very happy to see grandpa again and he finally got to see Matthias, whom he had never met...love you dad...was nice seeing you again....

Birthday boy just awake....in the morning

Birthday boy awake after naptime when we decided to do a small celebration for him, but of course he was super grumpy and let us all have his crying...I have no idea why I'm holding my finger in that position...oh yeah, and since he was at it, he decided to try what fire feels when u touch it....

.........but thank God after he decided to be happy and eat his cake which he really enjoyed!
