Right now they want to keep her on the liver transplanet list but, she's not in the top of the list due that she isn't in danger right now. So still have to keep doing her month injections to help keep her veins from bleeding. So hoping that all goes well like it did today. Glad to be home after I am done updating my blog I am off to sleep. Been at the hosptial since 6 am and I am tried.<br /><br />But, this will be the last time you all see this blanket. Totally now done with Nesa blanket.<br /><br /><br />Here go Nesa at the hospital waiting to go to surgery. See look at how long this blanket is. This is how I wanted it to be able to fit the hosptial bed. <br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2696736650/" title="100_1070 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3199/2696736650_981a782a8b_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1070" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br />Here go Nesa after her surgery sleeping like a little baby. You only can see her hair she wasn't ready to get up yet, to the left is her dad just waiting her is little girl to wake up.:) awwww<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2695934733/" title="100_1072 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3034/2695934733_f13a8c6d5f_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1072" /></a><br /><br />So there you have it you got to see the finish project of this blanket. Thanks to all the lovely ladies that sent all the pretty squares to make this blanket for my baby girl.<br /><br />For all the squares that was to big or I got after the 20th of July I will still use them to do Nesa a pillow to go with her blanket.:) Thanks ladies.<br /><br /><br />Now on to another project. A blogger friend of mines name <a href="http://www.sewalicious-designs.blogspot.com/"><strong> Katrina </strong></a> had her 4th child a little girl by the name of Kalynn Jai, congrats Katrina. Well while I was waiting for some yarn that I got off of ebay to come hoping to get it before Katrina popped lol but, it was to late she popped before I got my yarn. One reason was because I wanted to make her new baby girl Kalynn something. T the time I didn't know what to make her baby girl but, after getting my yarn I had finally figured out to make her a little baby blanket. I went on <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/"><strong>Ravelry</strong> </a>and a couple other websites to get inspired to figure out how I wanted the blanket done. So I figured out I will do this.<br /><br /><br />See so cute<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2695947109/" title="100_1073 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3121/2695947109_3e29dc3f30_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1073" /></a><br /><br />No pattern followed sorry. I did get inspired by Mary Jane Merry Go Round Blanket, I think that is what it is called but, I didn't do it like that. I made folds in the blanket as it goes around I increased to have fold creses in the blanket. It took me awhile to figure out how to do this but, after awhile I got the hang of it and whipped it up in no time.<br /><br /><br /><br />Close up on center<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2695961177/" title="100_1078 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3137/2695961177_4536e04ece_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1078" /></a><br /><br />Yarn, Sayelle, Baby Pastel and Red Heart Soft, White<br />Stitches, SC, Triple, DC<br />Started July 17, 2008<br />Finished July 18, 2008<br />WOW didn't take long at all<br /><br /><br />Cute aint it.<br /><br /><br /><br />Ok while due that blanket my sister just loved it and wanted me to do her a blanket. But, I didn't want to do the same blanket.<br /><br />I remember looking around on <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/"><strong>Ravelry</strong></a> I noticed that the starghans was very well known. So I decided to do one but, my own way to the star. So here is how it looks so far not done yet.<br /><br /><br /><br />See<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2696791782/" title="100_1082 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3162/2696791782_4f89a2a2f7_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1082" /></a><br /><br />I decided to do more of a 3D kind of star. Not done but, I made it so that this can also have folds but, higher up folds where that after I am done it will be pushed down and sewn into the blanket where it would look like a star inside of a star but, also on top of a star. Different huh?<br /><br /><br /><br />Close up<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2696858240/" title="100_1083 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3169/2696858240_64ea0dc747_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1083" /></a><br /><br />Started on July 19<br />Took a brake on July 20, 21 and 22 Start back on 23th<br /><br />Give you all another update when I am totally done with this.:)<br /><br /><br /><br />I don't know if you all remember that I was trying to do a Sudoku blanket awhile ago. I gave up on it due to that I just didn't want to do it lol. But, I decided to give it a try again but, this time I am doing it totally different then before. Before I crochet the numbers in but, this time decided to stitch in the numbers. It save time for me I thought that would go quickier have to say I has went quick. To complete the whole unsolve Sudoku puzzle I need to do 36 white squares and 45 black squares. With black numbers on the white squaures and white numbers on the black squares with grey border around all the squares. Then I have to put them all together then work the outter part of the blanket in grey, blanket and white. So this will take some time but, have to say so far it has went quick see.<br /><br /><br /><br />See so far got all the white squares done. I hope those numbers look right what you all think?<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2696058769/" title="100_1084 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3246/2696058769_ec4ee97b74_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1084" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br />What I had plan after this blanket is due I wanted to post it on my blog as a contest. So for those that know how to play Sudoku or for those that want to give it a try you can solve my blanket and the first one that can solve the whole puzzle will get a gift box from me with some goodies in it. So for those that want to give it a try hoping to be done with this blanket by the middle of August keeping my fingers cross.:)<br /><br />Ok no more crochet update sorry not sewing update haven't got back to my sewing yet. But, that's all for now my latest.<br /><br />Everyone have a great week take care.:)<br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.imagechef.com/" target="_blank"> <img alt="ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more" src="http://cdnll.img1.imagechef.com/w/071229/pur69e41446cabc65c8.jpg"/> </a><img border="0" style="visibility:hidden;width:0px;height:0px;" width="0" src="http://counters.gigya.com/wildfire/CIMP/JnB*PTExOTkwMDYxMzQwNDYmcD*xMTkzMSZkPSZuPWJsb2dnZXI=.jpg" height="0"/><br /><a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/blinkiebloggincrown.gif" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>Lesalicioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17645274324282953770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5704836940049154718.post-4936562106997263592008-07-16T15:00:00.000-07:002008-07-16T15:00:00.638-07:00Little Reading, Crocheting, Sewing and Playing With My YarnHow is everyone doing this week so far so good? And hoping by the 21 I can then start going around the blanket to add a little bit of a border to it.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Now KristieMN from the <a href="http://www.crochetville.org/forum/index.php"><strong>Ville</strong></a> sent my girls some lovely things. How nice of her.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2674690775/" title="100_1063 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3028/2674690775_65c1c47cf6_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1063" /></a><br /><br />See all the lovely things she sent. Thanks Kristie.<br /><br /><br /><br />Also on with my crocheting but, first let me brag a bit lol. Was so happy to finally get my package from a Ebay seller. I was bidding on a yarn mix lot on ebay fighting for it. I so wanted it so badly. It was 18 pounds of yarn. I liked all the colors and everything so I bidded and bidded trying to not go over my limit but, had finally got it. So now let me show off what I got.<br /><br /><br /><br />See<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2674636267/" title="100_1048 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3082/2674636267_fbb051fca2_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1048" /></a><br /><br /><br />See<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2674649399/" title="100_1049 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3125/2674649399_e9d9229108_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1049" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br />Hummmmmmm don't you just love all of that yarn. A lot of it is vintage yarn, yarn I haven't never seen but, by reading the tags on most of the yarn you can tell that they are old. I even went looking online to look them up and most of them isn't made anymore. So I have to try to do the best I can with what I have huh. But, so far my mom came over saying omg you is going yarn crazy lol but, then later she pointing at the yarn she wants for me to make her a throw blanket for when she is laying in her lazyboy chair. But, first I have some things I want to do first.<br /><br /><br />I decided to use this yarn to make me a shrug jacket.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2674748021/" title="100_1056 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3072/2674748021_e943894e63_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1056" /></a><br /><br />So far so good, doing in mesh stitching.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2674665619/" title="100_1058 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3291/2674665619_2fe18db012_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1058" /></a><br /><br /><br />Have a lot more to do for this one but, so far so good here.<br /><br /><br /><br />Now on to my reading, Well I used to read a lot lot but, due that I don't have that much time in the day I did put a bit of my reading on hold. But, when my friends came up for the 4th of July weekend it brought back memories. Back in high school and college when we was always reading and talking about what was going on in the books we was reading. Exchanging books and so on and so on. They was talking about books and things when they was here I couldn't relate because I haven't been reading or trying to read but, they got me hooked again. I have a library full of books and most of them just collecting dust day in and day out. But, they was kind enough to get me a few books so. I started back reading. I am more of a urban book reader. So far I finished one book in 2 days called Sistah For Sale it was a ok book I'll give it 3 stars. Now I am on to another book called Diamond Playgirls so far so good. This book has 4 of my favorite authors in one. But, other then that I want to read a lot more. If I have to read while crocheting then that is what I have to do lol.<br /><br /><br /><br />Ok on with my sewing. Not much sewing. Started on a shirt for me. Have to finish up the back part of the shirt then I will be done with that.<br /><br /><br />Here go a sneak preview<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2674677863/" title="100_1059 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3066/2674677863_6924a83c7b_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1059" /></a><br /><br />So far so good. <br /><br /><br />There you have it my Reading, Crocheting, Sewing and Playing with yarn lol.<br /><br /><br />Everyone take care have a great week.:) <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.imagechef.com/" target="_blank"> <img alt="ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more" src="http://cdnll.img1.imagechef.com/w/071229/pur69e41446cabc65c8.jpg"/> </a><img border="0" style="visibility:hidden;width:0px;height:0px;" width="0" src="http://counters.gigya.com/wildfire/CIMP/JnB*PTExOTkwMDYxMzQwNDYmcD*xMTkzMSZkPSZuPWJsb2dnZXI=.jpg" height="0"/><br /><a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/blinkiebloggincrown.gif" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>Lesalicioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17645274324282953770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5704836940049154718.post-75033726232703472992008-07-09T16:43:00.000-07:002008-07-09T19:14:56.380-07:00First July Post (Still Kicking and Screaming)I'm around. Got a couple of emails everyone concern and hoping all was well. Everything is ok. My girls and I are doing fine. My girls was gone for the 4th of July weekend and I had time to myself. Got to go out have a little fun with some friends. But, all is well. Been working on putting Nesa blanket together that is coming along quickly. I am giving myself until the 20th to have it completely done. More lovely ladies is sending more squares so as they come I just get weaving them on. Thanks to all the lovely ladies from the <a href="http://www.crochetville.org/forum/index.php"><strong>CVille</strong></a> <strong>Criskad <a href="http://craftychristina.blogspot.com/">(Christina), </a>Titus2woman, Pineknott, Ms Danny and Mom w/a motif</strong>. Thanks ladies.<br /><br />Here is the update on Nesa's blanket so far so good. So cute.:)<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2653717343/" title="100_1044 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3282/2653717343_edff085343_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1044" /></a><br />Still a work in progress<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2653730597/" title="100_1045 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3099/2653730597_8ee3065365_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1045" /></a><br />These 3 rows to the left I have to add on to the blanket<br /><br />But, everyone get the idea on how it's coming along.:)<br /><br /><br />Also got to do me some sewing. I brought these plain white capris. I wanted to make me some white capris but, couldn't find no plain white double knitted fabric anywhere. Everywhere I went they had the printed white mixed with other colors. So I decided to buy me some plain white capris to go with the shirt I had in mind to make for me.<br /><br /><br />So I took some DMC floss and did a little stitching at the end and on the upper part of the pocket just to add a little pink to it.<br /><br />See<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2653705003/" title="100_1042 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3266/2653705003_0a9c5cfeaf_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1042" /></a><br /><br /><br />So now on with my shirt. Here is the fabric I have in mind to make for my shirt. Don't know what kind of fabric but, it looks like some knitting kind of fabric that I fell in love with when I seen it at Walmart for 1 dollar a yard but, I knew I would have to wear something under it due to that you can see everything though the fabric. But, I knew I had a pink tank top at home that would look nice with this fabric.<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2653592213/" title="100_1028 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3119/2653592213_89a57b888b_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1028" /></a><br /><br /><br />So I whipped up my shirt see. <strong><a href="http://sewing.patternreview.com/cgi-bin/readreview.pl?readreview=1&reviewnum=30360">(MyPatternReview.com)</a></strong><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2654479024/" title="100_1035 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3143/2654479024_5b8f2e8f20_m.jpg" width="185" height="240" alt="100_1035" /></a><br /><br />Front, has a long V cut<br />Started on July 7, 2008<br />Finished on July 7, 2008<br />Took about 1 hour and a half or so to finish<br />No pattern followed just used a old shirt as I draft for this shirt <br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2653659473/" title="100_1036 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3279/2653659473_325a699362_m.jpg" width="232" height="240" alt="100_1036" /></a><br />Yet another front view<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2654493554/" title="100_1038 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3257/2654493554_2b3ff8868d_m.jpg" width="240" height="228" alt="100_1038" /></a><br />And Back<br />You see how I did the half circle in the front and the back of the bottom of the shirt to give it more on my on style. I put them together as they come in the mail.<br /><br />So far so good. It's coming along great. Loving all the squares that is being donated. My daughter Nesa is so happy as more packages roll up and she get to see all the cute squares. She sits right by me while I put the squares together asking me when can I have it. lol<br /><br />Hoping to be done with her blanket/afghan by the 20th so she can take it with her to her next surgery on the 23th. <br /><br /><br />I would like to thanks so far for the squares that we got from Cindybmv2004, Jessicagal, MarleenCrochets, Peggy85225, Pat54 all from the <a href="http://www.crochetville.org/forum/index.php"><strong>CVille</strong>. </a>Thanks ladies.<br /><br />Here go the progress so far.<br /><a href="http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/?action=view¤t=100_1025.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/100_1025.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br />So cute aint it?<br /><br />So far so good. As the squares come I been putting them all together. Will keep updating my blog on how the blanket/afghan is coming along. As you can see Nesa love Mickey Mouse.<br /><br />While making this blanket made me think back to when we had went to Disney World for Nesa's "Make A Wish" At Give Kids A World.<br /><br />Here go a couple old pics for our Disney World trip. <br /><br />Nesa had a ball.<br /><br />When we first got there Nesa was happy to get Mickey and Minnie Mouse:)<br /><a href="http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/?action=view¤t=FH000030_edited.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/FH000030_edited.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br />And here she goes. Taking pictures with the characters from Lion King sorry don't remember there names LOL:)<br /><a href="http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/?action=view¤t=FH000028_edited.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/FH000028_edited.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br />And with Tiger:)<br /><a href="http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/?action=view¤t=FH010003_edited.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/FH010003_edited.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br />and with Winnie The Pooh.<br /><a href="http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/?action=view¤t=FH010033_edited.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/FH010033_edited.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br />This was back when Nesa was 3 but, she remember it. She keep asking when can we go back to Disney World.:) So for her "Make A Wish" It was free I didn't have to come not one dime out of my pocket but, one day one day hoping we can go back.:)<br /><br />Really haven't been doing a lot of other projects. Getting Nesa blanket has been number 1 lately. But, a couple of future projects has got started a little bit. That is another afghan but, for me. Didn't know how much easy it would be to do a afghan never done one bigger then a small baby blanket so decide to do one for me to throw across my bed. Also another afghan for Nellie. So so far have 3 afghans to try to do all at once. <br /><br />Also hoping to start working on a cardigan for me. Waiting for some yarn I got from Ebay to come. OMG I can't wait until all this yarn I got come I want to take pictures because it's a LOT. But, I already have plans for most of the yarn and I havne't got it yet lol. So when that come in want to start whipping me up a cardigan. I want one due to when Nesa is in the hospital it tends to get cold to me and thought instead of walking around with a blanket around me I could have a cardigan to wear around the hosptial. Something not to hot but, can keep me from being a little cold.<br /><br />So that's that for now.<br /><br />Everyone take care. Thanks for stopping by. :)<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.imagechef.com/" target="_blank"> <img alt="ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more" src="http://cdnll.img1.imagechef.com/w/071229/pur69e41446cabc65c8.jpg"/> </a><img border="0" style="visibility:hidden;width:0px;height:0px;" width="0" src="http://counters.gigya.com/wildfire/CIMP/JnB*PTExOTkwMDYxMzQwNDYmcD*xMTkzMSZkPSZuPWJsb2dnZXI=.jpg" height="0"/><br /><a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/blinkiebloggincrown.gif" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>Lesalicioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17645274324282953770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5704836940049154718.post-58375237412195801902008-06-24T16:07:00.000-07:002008-06-24T17:20:44.115-07:00Weave Away/Crochet WIPTotally not talking about hair weave. So this is what I have been working on.<br /><br />I decided to try something new yet different with fabric. I've always liked how weaving looked in baskets. But, I yet to give it a try. So I cut up some stretch denim into strips<br /><br /><br />As you can see here:<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2608356253/" title="100_1001 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3256/2608356253_cc832756a7_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1001" /></a><br /><br />I cut a lot of strips.<br /><br /><br />So now work with me so you all can see what is this going to be.<br />No not a basket lol.<br /><br /><br />Here I laid it out into the weaving order.<br />Pinning it into place and top stitching over it to keep all the strips in place.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2609203484/" title="100_1007 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3075/2609203484_5356edfc78_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1007" /></a><br /><br />Still wonder hummmm what am I doing.<br /><br /><br /><br />Here I then cut out the pattern I wanted. Can you tell what it is?<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2609215370/" title="100_1008 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3279/2609215370_a8c168eac3_m.jpg" width="240" height="184" alt="100_1008" /></a><br /><br /><br />Now you can see what it really was.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2609230022/" title="100_1009 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3072/2609230022_c8ecee527c_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1009" /></a><br /><br />See some capris shorts whatever you like to call them lol.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2609255670/" title="100_1015 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3075/2609255670_e92e4f950d_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1015" /></a><br /><br />Cute aint it.<br />Front<br />Started on June 23, 2008<br />Finished June 24, 2008<br />Took some brakes in between time but, got to finish around 1 am<br />No pattern followed<br />Use stretch blue denim<br /><br />Back<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2608438357/" title="100_1017 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3096/2608438357_e29dff043a_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1017" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br />I just was trying something new yet different. Liked how this turned out. But, now I would like to give this a try again but, with like 4 or 5 different color denims to make me a short denim skirt. I thought that would look oh so nice.<br /><br />I did get this idea from watching way to much <strong>Project Runway</strong> can't wait until the new season starts next month. :)<br /><br />I did have to put in linning in the inside of that one weaved part to keep from seening my skin though the gaps in between the weaving.<br /><br />But, this did come out nice. Liked how it turned out.<br /><br />So what you all think?<br /><br /><br />Also a quick update on the WIP on Nesa's blanket so far. I got the center piece done.<br /><br /><br />See here: <a href="http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/?action=view¤t=100_1010.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/100_1010.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br />Also got to do some squares<br /><br /><br />See here:<a href="http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/?action=view¤t=100_1012.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/100_1012.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br /><br /><br />Now have more squares to do and waiting for some lovely squares from some lovely ladies from the Ville.:)<br /><br />There you have it.<br /><br />Everyone have a great week. Well finally decided to update my blog been feeling all down and mopping around the house lately can't sleep due to me worrying to much but, trying to stay strong.<br /><br />Well Nesa had yet another surgery on Tuesday. It went somewhat ok but, not what I thought it would be. I was told by her GI doctor that due to Nesa's veins in her chest and stomach growing to big that they can burst and she can bleed to death. Now that set me off right there. They have been doing these little surgeries where they go in and inject Nesa's veins to keep them from not getting bigger but, it seems to not be working so now the next step is to put Nesa back on the liver transplant list. That was the last choice so that is what they have to do.<br /><br />Me hearing this just set me off all day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I have been worring keeping a very close eye on Nesa. Making sure she wont bleed. Grrr me typing this just making me ball out in tears.<br /><br />But, I decided to do my baby girl a crochet blanket to take with her everytime she go to the hospital. There was some lovely ladies from<a href="http://www.crochetville.org/forum/index.php"> <strong>Crochetville</strong> </a>that sent me squares last year to do Nesa a very colorful blanket that Nesa takes with her everytime we go to the hospital but, I decided to do her another one with my special touch to it by putting words on her blanket in the middle center piece. <strong>"My Lovely Girl Nesa"</strong><br /><br />But, getting a little help from some lovely ladies from the Ville. <br />More information on that is here <a href="http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=80681"><strong>Charity Squres For Nesa</strong></a> That will tell a little more to what I am doing for Nesa blanket. Thanks <a href="http://craftychristina.blogspot.com/"><strong>Christina</strong></a> I seen you was one of the lovely ladies that would like to pitch in. :)<br /><br />So that is the latest update. They plan to do the injection every month until they can find a liver. But, first next month me and my family will all go for testing. They like to start with family first and go from there. I will totally try to keep everyone updated.<br /><br /><br />Now I did get to get in a bit of crocheting and sewing. Due to me stressing sewing and crocheting kept me together late at night when I couldn't sleep.<br /><br />So I got to finish me a shrug. Also a tank top. <br />Warning the top is the same fabric from another shirt I made. <br />I had extra fabric left and didn't want it to go to waste. <br />So I used it to make a quick tank top.<br />I made the shrug due to me not liking to showing off all of my arms they way to flabby lol:)<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2594606254/" title="100_0991 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3213/2594606254_8972058a4a_m.jpg" width="200" height="240" alt="100_0991" /></a><br />Front of tank top and shrug<br />No pattern used for tank top or shrug<br />Started the shrug on June 16, 2008<br />Finished the shrug on June 18, 2008<br />Took brakes in between<br />Started on tank top June 19, 2008<br />Finished tank top June 19, 2008<br />Took about 1 hour or so to finish<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2594611106/" title="100_0996 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3259/2594611106_f91a8d50c8_m.jpg" width="228" height="240" alt="100_0996" /></a><br />Back<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2594618828/" title="100_0999 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3175/2594618828_a8485775fc_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_0999" /></a><br />This is a picture of a button I put on my tank top straps so I can put the button in between the crochet stitches. I decided to due this due to everytime I make me a shrug it tends to fall off at the shoulders one point or another so putting the button helps to keep the shrug from falling off. <br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2594632444/" title="100_1000 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3115/2594632444_e445320b30_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_1000" /></a><br />Close up on shrug stitches:)<br /><br /><br />so there you have it. She is happy to be out of school. Now I have 2 to drive me crazy lol. But, hope everyone is having a great weekend. So far so good. Me and my girls plan on going to the zoo sometime this week. They more want to go to the water parks to get wet. Our weather here in Milwaukee is to confusing for me to have them going to get wet.<br /><br />Nesa have another surgery coming up this Tuesday so I wanted to update my blog this weekend because aint not telling when I will have time again. But, I do get to get in some crocheting from time to time.<br /><br />I was supposed to had put my hook down for awhile, while I worked on some sewing projects but, I found myself picking up my hook again from time to time at night while watching tv. I guess I couldn't keep the hook out of my hand to long.<br /><br />So here are my latest crochet projects. Have to say I totally loved how Nellie outfit came out.<br /><br /><br />I made her a belly tank top that ties around her neck and tie up down the back. I liked what I did to her other tank so I decided to do another one but, a little different as you can see. Oh also made her a skirt.<br /><br /><br />Awww look at Nellie.<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2578353036/" title="100_0980 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2045/2578353036_c0c716ba95_m.jpg" width="172" height="240" alt="100_0980" /></a><br /><br />Front<br />Skirt, tank top<br />Started on skirt on May 30, 2008 Finished June 7, 2008. Took a couple of days of brake for this.<br />Started on tank on June 8, 2008 Finished June 10, 2008. Again took a brake from time to time.<br />Both done with a H hook<br />Done with single, double and treble stitches<br />Yarn used was Caron Simply and Soft in purple and white<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Back<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2578360314/" title="100_0981 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3176/2578360314_804bc30e71_m.jpg" width="177" height="240" alt="100_0981" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br />Close up on skirt<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2578376352/" title="100_0982 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3066/2578376352_fd6e354c2f_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_0982" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Close up on belly tank<br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2577553235/" title="100_0983 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2348/2577553235_6ce8151453_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_0983" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Now I decided to do me another outfit. Have a couple of things to show.<br />My first show and tell is my mom's fun fur purse. She fell in love with those fun fur purses I did to sell in the boutique so I whipped my mom up one for herself. <br />She wanted a purse where it can have a long strap that can go around her head and arm.<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2535959852/" title="100_0907 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3180/2535959852_364300e5c3_m.jpg" width="123" height="240" alt="100_0907" /></a><br /><br />Here it goes right here. My mom like it she haven't yet to put it down, while when she is sleeping she have to lol.<br /><br /><br />But, here is another proudest moment of mines. My winging it is still coming in handy.<br /><br />I made my daughter Nellie a halter top.<br /><br />So here goes.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2535783430/" title="100_0912 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2159/2535783430_bc5ea970b2_m.jpg" width="122" height="240" alt="100_0912" /></a><br /><br />Front<br />Started May 28, 2008<br />Finished May 29, 2008<br />Took a little brake from here and there<br />Yarn, Caron Simply and Soft, Blue Country<br />H hook<br />Single, Double stitches<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2535802672/" title="100_0918 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3260/2535802672_97bbd250a3_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_0918" /></a><br /><br />Close up on front top stitches<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2534994011/" title="100_0919 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2399/2534994011_bdffdd7650_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_0919" /></a><br /><br />Close up on front bottom stitches<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2534973329/" title="100_0915 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2154/2534973329_e5fcb1ab9c_m.jpg" width="164" height="240" alt="100_0915" /></a><br /><br />Back, it lacy down and ties up at the bottom. And whipped up this shawl in no time.:)<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2481336663/" title="100_0853 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2410/2481336663_ec6cffdcfa_m.jpg" width="240" height="185" alt="100_0853" /></a><br /><br />Front:<br />For my mom aint it cute. <br />Started May 6 finished May 8th<br />J-hook, Caron Simply and Soft<br />Stitches, Dc, Chain stitches<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2482125810/" title="100_0850 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2187/2482125810_f0a001e944_m.jpg" width="240" height="192" alt="100_0850" /></a><br />Back:<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2482131952/" title="100_0851 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2414/2482131952_d62698d3d0_m.jpg" width="240" height="144" alt="100_0851" /></a><br />Back again:<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2482142584/" title="100_0852 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2311/2482142584_1fcef60467_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_0852" /></a><br />Close up on stitches<br /><br /><br />So there you have it my moms Mother's Day gift.<br /><br />I also have to confess this shawl was my first shawl every. Today I finally can report that I finished Nesa tank top or you can say tube top either or works for me. I had a lot of work on this one due to Nesa belly being so big I had a lot of incresing to do on a couple of rows and a lot of trying it on her to make sure that it fits her right and not to tight. So here is Ms. Nesa showing off her fly tank top/tube top.<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2469026374/" title="100_0838 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/194/2469026374_5224eb675a_m.jpg" width="211" height="240" alt="100_0838" /></a><br />Front<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2468260273/" title="100_0843 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2002/2468260273_bcb4bc49d8_m.jpg" width="176" height="240" alt="100_0843" /></a><br />Back<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2469198878/" title="100_0841 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2092/2469198878_50b0c82b53_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_0841" /></a><br />Close Up on stitches on the back<br />I love how this turned out on the back.<br /><br /><br /><br />I also took the time out to make a cute little headband to go with her tank top. Whip this up in like 20 minutes.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2468327307/" title="100_0842 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3176/2468327307_ac8e4ef62e_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_0842" /></a><br /><br /><br />I used Bernat Cool Crochet yarn with a H hook. Done in single for the front top part, double for the shell stitches at the bottom, and chain stitches for the back part. <br /><br /><br /><br />I also had to do me a head thing which it isn't a hair rap or a headband it's a hair band. I made it just for me done with CSS done with a H hook also.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2468333577/" title="100_0844 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3152/2468333577_fbcb7648ec_m.jpg" width="199" height="240" alt="100_0844" /></a><br />Front<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2469165882/" title="100_0845 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2080/2469165882_7408836380_m.jpg" width="240" height="229" alt="100_0845" /></a><br />Side<br /><br /><br /><br />To my beloved crochet friends out there have to ask a couple of questions.<br /><br />1) What crochet hook size do you find yourself working with the most without even thinking about it you find yourself picking up the most?<br /><br />2) What is your favorite thing to crochet the most?<br /><br />3) What would you like to crochet that you never crochet before?<br /><br />4) Do you think you will pass down your love of crocheting down to your kids/nieces or sisters?<br /><br />5) What is the craziest thing you ever heard someone say to you about you crocheting?<br /><br /><br /><br /><strong>To answer those questions you can copy and paste those to your blog and answer them at anytime. Your choice. Just thought this would be nice to get to know a little bit about my crochet friends out there.<br /><br />So let me answer my own questions.<br /><br />1) I have to say the H hook, it's not to big or not to small just right. I have more H hooks then any other hooks.<br /><br />2) I have to say purses. But, if I could choice more then one I will say purses, and wearable for my girls.<br /><br />3) I will say some dolls for my girls.<br /><br />4) I would love to pass it down to my girls. I want my girls to learn it someday and pass it down to there kids then there kids, kids. I think it would be nice. Nothing was pass down to my family like that so I would like to start it with my girls.<br /><br />5) The craziest I heard from my little cousin. Old people do that why you doing it. LOL</strong><br /><br /><br /><br />So there you have it thanks for stopping by my blog. Everyone have a great day, night whatever.<br /><br />Take care.<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.imagechef.com/" target="_blank"> <img alt="ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more" src="http://cdnll.img1.imagechef.com/w/071229/pur69e41446cabc65c8.jpg"/> </a><img border="0" style="visibility:hidden;width:0px;height:0px;" width="0" src="http://counters.gigya.com/wildfire/CIMP/JnB*PTExOTkwMDYxMzQwNDYmcD*xMTkzMSZkPSZuPWJsb2dnZXI=.jpg" height="0"/><br /><a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f278/Lesa25/blinkiebloggincrown.gif" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>Lesalicioushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17645274324282953770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5704836940049154718.post-32351184247941615582008-05-02T06:06:00.000-07:002008-05-02T08:37:49.240-07:00It's Been Awhile HUH?Well I've been oh so busy with cleaning my house throwing away things I don't want and trying to sell a couple of things on ebay. Don't know about this weekend because she will be gone this weekend and I will need her to keep trying it on to see how it fits. I have to work more with Nesa when it comes to me sewing or crocheting her tops due to her belly being so big I have to try to not make it tight on her belly so far so good.<br /><br />Here go what I have so far. I make it in a long piece and crochet it together on both ends for the back. I have to increase most of the rows that goes around her belly. I can't do to much open stitches Nesa don't like to show off her belly well her scar so I understand that. but, trying to make it look nice as much as I can.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/15975483@N03/2458763031/" title="100_0836 by Lesalicious, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2134/2458763031_4882390c79_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="100_0836" /></a><br />This part will be in the back.<br /><br /><br />Ok now on with my inspiring projects. I got a couple of books in the mail from ummmm dang somewhere. It when you feel out that little postcard by picking things you like but, you only have to pay a small amount after you get your product.
