It has been more than a month since I last blogged. Last mth was my CeHa exams. Don't ask whether I pass or not, most probably fail lah....anyway results not out yet.

Been busy busy busy. Went Bangkok for a short 3 days trip during my Birthday. But never get to enjoy much as I sprained my ankle! Had sprained & pain for a month already. Seen many sinsehs and thanks to Alex who recommand his sinseh at Bt Panjang! Great!!! With those painless needles and suction.... my ankle definitely recovering.

Few days ago, serving one tenant. I must really say she has a Heart of Gold. If this world is full of such angels, I guess there won't be news of wars etc. She wanna rent a landed property. The reason as she has 7 dogs and 8 cats!!!! She took pity on the strayed animals and has been taking care of them for 12 years!!!!!!!!! Oh....I'm correct issit me? She's such a sweetie towards those animals! A pretty young lady, Yvonne with her fren. May God bless them!

Thank God, the handover for Chestnut Gardens is kinda over! That contractor Robert (pls pls agents or anyone out there, be careful when choosing a contractor) is driving me nuts for the past one month. My tenant Ms Vanessa wanted to renovate the toilet and this contractor took a century to finish his work....or shd I say he's delaying his work. Wat the hell right, come on, pick up the phone when anyone calls. I'd been like a ghost chasing and chasing him from morning to midnite, midnite to evening! Sigh!!!! Pls lah ... when doing something, we got to be responsible. Not a baby anymore!

I can totally understand my client's stress. Move in and yet the renovation not completely done. Her hb was outstationed and she has 2 toddlers with her. Not only she broke down, I was as stress as her too.

I'm glad everything is over... she's more or less settle down in her new home. Yeah dear, I'll go pay you a visit soon ok???

For me, mood swing...have been rather depressed lately....hopefully will cheeRs up real soon!

2 weeks ago, brought my kids along for my viewing at Landridge, since I was early, so Billy suggested going Haw Pau Villa for an hour, since the "mountain tortise" me never been there. I was like HUH?? "An hour where got enough?? must at least 3 hrs!"

haha Billy is so right! Less than half an hour, I felt my makeup melting...and haha wearing such high heels, damn tired man! Anyway hehe half an hour is enough!!!!

Yeah...holiday coming! Ermm... I don't hv hols but I'm happy for my kids lah! hehe... Hopefully can plan some good holidays for my darlings this year. I've busy these past half year (aiyooo can't imagine a year can passed so darn fast...now is already aug!)
Lately hv not been nite owl, had been zzz early... Hb say maybe both of us getting old so can't stay late already...hey hey I really can't stand that word "old" hahahahah...................

Next mth sept would be a good ger staying home to study. Going for CEHA exams in Oct. Hb has been nagging and scolding me always for doing things last min. Cos I've not registered for the exams yet.

The Bayshore is sold! Now new buyer wants me to market for him again.... hahah seem like I'm fated to "stay" at Bayshore yeah... I do like this project!

Today brought Maggie for viewings. She's a very very lovely client of mine! Actually she's the first client whom I serve eversince I step into this line. hahaha No no, not that I'm a lousy agent serving her so long hor...hahahahahahahaah.... She stop viewings for mths due to valid reasons and now need to buy one very soon. Maggie, anyway, it's really very nice meeting you again this evenings!

SC Global’s The Marq sets new record for homes
Unit sold for top price of $5,100 psf; hot demand also for UOL’s project
A New record for home prices in Singapore has been set, once again. A unit in SC Global’s freehold The Marq On Paterson Hill has been sold for $5,100 per square foot (psf), the developer said yesterday.
SC Global, a developer of exclusive luxury residences, said it has sold all 21 apartments it released in the first phase of its 66-unit luxury development at an average selling price of $4,137 psf. The project started previewing last week.
The previous record for home prices was held by Parkview Eclat, where developer Chyau Fwu Group said it sold a four-bedroom apartment for ‘almost $4,200 psf’.
At The Marq, absolute prices for apartments ranged from about $11 million to $31 million, SC Global said.
Another luxury property - in the Bukit Timah area this time round rather than Orchard - has similarly seen hot demand. About 70 per cent of the UOL Group’s 120-unit Duchess Residences has been sold with prices crossing the $2,000 psf mark for several apartments, the company said. Sources said that the highest price fetched was in the region of $2,100 psf.
Duchess Residences started previewing on Monday, but most of the units were snapped up over four hours yesterday, BT understands. The project will be officially launched tomorrow, UOL said.
‘This (the high prices) confirms that the Bukit Timah area is seeing a lot of pent-up demand, and people are looking to buy,’ said Ku Swee Yong, director of marketing and business development at Savills Singapore.
Savills is marketing Duchess Residences together with DTZ Debenham Tie Leung.
Bukit Timah, which made waves during the last property boom, is expected to make a comeback this year. Other than Duchess Residences, at least five other developments will be launched there in the coming months, with prices expected to cross the $2,000 psf mark - a level not seen for the past 10 years.
SC Global shares traded unchanged at $6.40 yesterday before a late afternoon trading halt ahead of the announcement. UOL’s stock closed 15 cents higher at $5.80.
