As usual not because I have nothing to blog about, but because I never get around to actually doing it. Today I thought I would show you what I have been up to this month, amongst other things.   They are all made to sell at Christmas Fairs, hoping I find more than the one to attend Evehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18005999067431457417noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5664514561400842405.post-63091707051539695622009-04-23T18:35:00.001+01:002009-04-23T18:35:22.567+01:00The Bloggers PicnicTotty told me I must be the last person to blog about this. She may well be right. This is what I went to, organised by Lucy Locket at Millets Farm near Oxford. Unfortunately, my car had to go to the garage to have a new head-gasket fitted, so I had a courtesy car instead. Oh how I hated this car. It had absolutely no get-up-and-go and it was 1.5 hours drive each way including motorway Evehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18005999067431457417noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5664514561400842405.post-79370946117378972412009-04-23T16:16:00.001+01:002009-04-23T16:16:15.069+01:00Returning with a garden walkI know it is a very long time since I last posted anything here. There are many things I had thought to post about and many photo’s taken to post, but it never got that far. One of the reasons was that I hate writing in Bloggers posting tool. I heard about Live writer, so this is also to test that out. From what I have heard, photo handling is easier with live writer, so this post is mainly Evehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18005999067431457417noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5664514561400842405.post-77661166284629998572009-01-08T14:09:00.003Z2009-01-08T14:24:58.816ZFlying Spaghetti MonsterWhen I saw this here, I knew I had to knit one for Ben, who is rather "into" FSM.He did however, have to wait until this week for the eyes to be added as they had to arrive from the US. I received an award from Totty and the Monkee shop opened. I am still concidering who to pass the award on to, so more about that at a later date. In the Monkee shop, I managed to secure a pouch. A parcel arrived this morning. This is what was in it Can you see who it was from? It is the museum's centenary this year and they have managed to get an exhibition of 600ish old paintings from the area together. First we went to my Dad's grave with some flowers. Mum thought he would be wondering why he was getting flowers this time of year. Normally she only puts something on around 1st December, a winter decoration which lasts until after Christmas. I think she has forgotten that I normally put something on when I am there. I could not think of anything, until I started knitting a test piece with Noro Blossom. It then occurred to me, that last I was home, I noticed that the cosmetic pouch Mum was using for her knitting/crochet accessories was falling apart. He told me it had been at the sorting office for weeks and was just about to be returned to sender, which he could not understand as he knew we were at home.
