From there, you will head to a landing, where you will board long canoes for a paddle past massive icebergs, along the base of the huge glacier. This is a simply incredible experience that you just can't miss.

Mary Ellen found a group at her book club when they discussed Michner's "Caribbean".One of the girl's mentioned she longed to take a Caribbean Cruise. MaryEllen told her that her parents raved about the cruise they had takenfor their 45th wedding anniversary.

She remembered her motherhad met a woman on board who was cruising free because she got a grouptogether from her retirement community. The woman told her she onlyneeded 15 people to go as a group and she could go free.

Theidea was planted in Mary Ellen's mind. She went to her parent's travelagent, got information about the cruise, and took it to the next bookclub meeting. Six months later, Mary Ellen, her husband, the book groupand their husbands, plus assorted friends who signed up to go, werecruising out of Miami to exciting ports in the Caribbean.

Mary Ellen took a copy of Michner's book with her on the cruise. This time it was, "South Pacific". She wanted to get some ideas for her next FREE cruise.

BobR was a retired utilities worker, an active member of the local unionand the American Legion. Many other union members were in the Legionand Bob enjoyed being with them and Alex, his best buddy for years. Itwas after Alex's untimely death that Bob took stock.

Thinkingabout Alex, and some of the things Alex had talked about doing someday, Bob thought of things in life he wanted to do. He made a list. Atthe top of the list was to visit Australia. Bob's father had talkedabout his time in Australia returning from the war.

When anotherbuddy from the Legion passed away unexpectedly, Bob went to see atravel agent and was discouraged. There was no way he could afford tomake such an expensive trip.

Searching the Internet, he foundtour companies doing group tours. Ontheir web pages he learned thatgroup travel was cheaper and group leaders traveled FREE.

Hegot all the details; found out how many he needed to go free, began hiscampaign, and 14 months later, Bob, some of his Legion buddies, a fewfriends from church and his family went to Australia. Bob's trip wasFREE!

If you prefer a more relaxing time at the beach then visit the small and peaceful resort of Laughing Waters. Mallard Beach, located in the centre of Ocho Rios, is a great family beach, and one that is often chosen to avoid the crowds. Mahogany Beach is a smaller and more intimate alternative to Turtle Beach, situated on Main Street, there is a bar and restaurant on the beach and a roped off area in the sea, which you can swim and where boats can not enter. You may find you are charged a small fee to enter some beaches; this is not a charge for using the beach, but to keep hustlers away, and let you relax without having to worry about those around you.

One of the most popular things to do in Ocho Rios is to visit the shopping plazas, the Main port itself is within easy walking distance to the nearby craft market and shopping centres. The Taj Mahal Shopping Centre which is located directly opposite the port along, with Sonis is the place to find the luxury items and great duty free goods. If it is more traditional Jamaican goods you are interested in The Island Village Shopping Centre can be found within 10 minutes walk from the port, it has lots to offer, and you will find great name brand stuff, jewellery, hand made cigars, and the famous Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee which is a must to try whilst in Ocho Rios.

There are many more attractions in Ocho Rios that you may choose to visit and explore; if you are interested in Jamaica's historical sights then look no further than Prospect Plantation, a working plantation which grows a variety of different foods such as sugar cane, banana, cassava, avocado, and pimento. There are spectacular views over the White River, amazing grounds, a bar, miniature golf and horseback riding available.

Halong Bay is situated about 165 Km from the capital Hanoi and it is one of the world's most natural wonders containing limestone karsts and islands dotting the bay with a coastline of 120 Kilometers in length. There are totally around 3000 islands in this area. The waters in the bay are absolutely sparkling and clear with thousands of mountains made of limestone which can be found dotting its entire seascape. The best time to visit Halong Bay would be when the waters in the bay are clear and that's in spring and early summer. At other times due to the heavy rains experienced in these parts the waters in the bay area turn extremely muddy. The islands in the Bay are in various shapes and sizes and you can find grottos and alcoves with sandy beaches which make ideal spots to go swimming. Halong Bay is one tourist destination in Vietnam which no tourist must miss as the view is simply breathtaking and no matter how many times you happen to visit this wonderful place you will find that it presents an entirely new picture and experience.

The name of the beach in Halong city is called Bai Chai or scorched beach because of the beach sands being dark.
