For Mother's Day, Warren's mom and I received gift certificates to Sears for a formal family picture session. Although babe was quite tired and refused to smile we still managed to get some cute pictures.

This has been a busy week so far. Monday Ada and I looked after Summer and River, Tuesday was our Chiropractor Appointments, Wednesday was Babes with Babes then Grandma time, Thursday was lots more Grandma time and I got to get out and get my hair done and then today we had a playdate with miss Scarlet and then a wedding shower tonight for Warren's cousin. We're finally moved into the new home and things have started to settle down. In the past few months Ada has grown a lot. She's got her first tooth, then her second, had her first hair cut, started eating solids and is now mobile and crawling all over. Here are some pictures from the last few months.

The last two months have been crazy. Warren and I had a condo showing on December 27 resulting in an offer that we accepted on December 31. The conditions were signed off on January 8 and we then had three weeks to pack and move so that the new owners could take possession on January 29. To top it all off, we also needed to find a new home to move into. Our wish list was pretty straight

Ada's first Christmas was filled lots of celebration with family and friends. We kicked off the holidays with dinner with my Mom's family, then had Warren's family over on Christmas eve. Ada and I have been spending quite a bit of time in St. Albert with Grandma and Grandpa. It was easy in October since my mom had taken almost the whole month off but come November she started having clients again. At first I was worried - nothing like getting a manicure and hearing a baby crying (not that Ada actually makes any significant amount of noise) but the concern was still valid.

While they don't quite make costumes in Ada's size, Grandma had picked her up some fun Halloween outfits and so we celebrated in style. On Halloween she helped Grandpa hand out candy and then we headed over to Casa Gordon for the fourth annual Halloween party. To celebrate her one month birthday, I took Ada and weighed and measured her on Tuesday. She weighed in at 8 pounds, 8 ounces and is now 21.5 inches long. We also took in a movie with Jack and Kim - I won ... Ada slept through more of the movie than Jack. There was no cake but so instead she just repeatedly got drunk off milk.

This past weekend, the École Maurice Lavallée Class of 2008 celebrated their pending graduation. My sister Sarah was among them. This also marks roughly 10 years since my graduation from the same school. Her graduating class was 91 people, where as mine was 28, so her ceremony was a little bit longer. We recently purchased a new camera, and so I had way too many pictures to choose from.
