Just a few days back a farmer had contacted me asking me to go out and look at one of his fields. He just couldn't understand why this one area of his field had no leaves on the plants what so ever. So being the rookie that I am I asked another Sales Agronomist and a Seed Rep to go out there with me and this is what we found. Sure enough there were an area of soybeans that there were no leaves but the stems were all there. After looking around for a few minutes, the picture above is what we concluded to be the problem. See right across the road from this field is a pond, a pond full of geese. So the geese would walk across the road, eat the beans and walk back across the road. It makes it hard to be sure you're getting accurate information. However, one great thing that has come about from having the Internet available are online colleges and the online degree people can get. My brother in law recently got his master's degree online while still going to work full time and supporting a family. I just think it's so great that there are options like this out there. I personally have always been very impressed with Capella University. They are a fully accredited online university that provides master's and PhD degrees for adults who work. Their website is very informative and even has an Inside Online Education podcast which always offers relevant information to those looking into the college.

This blog post was based on information provided by Blogitive. After two years she kind of forgot all that, but it's all coming back to her now. I feel for her because there's really only so much I can do. I give her back rubs, try to do as much of the cleaning around the house and as much chasing Kaelyn around as I can. She's so tired lately and with the increasing weight gain that comes along with pregnancy it's just wearing on her. She told me the other day she doesn't remember how she did it with 26 extra pounds on her...especially considering she's only gained 1 so far. We still have a ways to go. They basically have everything any parent would need for their child....especially clothing. Everything is used, but in great condition for the most part and so cheap!! In a couple of months we will be heading up there again to get clothes for her for the winter/spring months...as well as baby clothes for our new arrival this Winter! I know Jen is really excited, and so am I as Kaelyn has been growing so fast and hardly has any clothes for those seasons. As the law stands, carriers are not required to provide roaming services to competing entities that own spectrum in a given market but have yet to build out a network there. Smaller carriers have complained that this hurts their customers, who won't be able to roam in those regions and will be left without service. Verizon says it will support legislation that requires it to provide roaming services in this type of circumstance, provided the requirement lasts no longer than two years. The letter was sent to several senators, and is the second olive branch extended by Verizon Wireless in the last week to appease those concerned about competition in the marketplace.

A busy man

Obama's busy schedule.
He is just not sitting around doing nothing. Today Jenna had her 20 week ultrasound. I just amazes me at how technology allows us to get such good images of something that is still inside a person. We saw that the baby has all 10 finger and 10 toes, 2 arms and 2 legs, a mouth and a nose, but the one thing we didn't find out is whether it was a boy or a girl. According to the doctor, she was able to tell as she skimmed over the area, which leaves Jenna and I to believe that we are having a boy. I guess we'll have to wait 19 more weeks to see!

The Knot Wedding Shop

The Knot Wedding Shop is known for their hard-to-find wedding supplies. It just seems to me that the only time that teams really try and run an organized play or really play defense, is when they are playing for their lives. That's what I love about playoff basketball, the effort that the players put forth is about 10 times the effort they have during the season. I know that only liking playoff basketball makes me a fair weather fan, but actually I cheer for whoever is play in the Lakers. I just can't stand Kobe Bryant, yes he is good, but the personality he displays really drives me nuts. Go Orlando!

Challenges of my Job

As a Field Sales Agronomist, and a new one at that, I am always learning on the job. All I can say is he got one thing out of the deal, fertilizer!

Paintball

ZephyrPaintball.com is a site where you will find everything you need when it comes to paintball gear at low prices and free shipping!
