My all time favorite shopping emporium of gorgeous things is Bergdorf Goodman.
This morning- well morning comes late for me, I got this image in my inbox letting me know that swim is in. This photograph is both gorgeous and sublime at the same time. There is not hint of water especially with the parched cacti and dried hydrangeas. That's why this image is so powerful. It's full of things that don't make sense! Gosh, S'adore Bergdorf's. Actually I'm rather obsessed.

Sabre sunnies rock really hard. I can't wait to get a pair. I met his total hottie, Brandon, at ASR in San Diego in September and he helped me pick out these hot glasses for me. The grommets make them so gorgeous. Do you agree?

This was an arts and crafts project by Sarah Hand. She bought the couch for around 20 bucks. Recovering, staining and other was a story of a much different amount. Needless to say the couch is uber cool and well worth every penny for something so unique.

Jason is my newish assistant. I love his looks so I've began posting them. He is insane. These are vintage Alice Roi pants he got from Buffalo Exchange. They are size 2! I was never a 2 even then I was two years old! Does any one remember Alice Roi- I love her designs and own a dress and a sick long clutch that I bought at the sample sale in her mother's house!

Olsenboye is the new project from the Olsen twins. First is was there line with w.t. retailer Wal-Mart. Then....Elizabeth and James, The Row, now JC Penney. It's low, then high, then really high with the Row then back to mid to low. Gives new meaning to striking the high/low mix.

shopping at James Perse in the Malibu Lumber Yard in you guessed it..Malibu. Yesterday, I was walking down Bleecker Street in Manhattan on my way to Ports 1961 showroom, I passed by the James Perse store devoid of any fun entertainment. Recalling a little jaunt to Malibu in May, this James Perse outpost was so much more resort friendly with table tennis, deck chairs,surf boards and bikes!

My new best friend, Valerie, gave me these chic Spy glasses when I was in San Diego last month for the Action Sports Retailers show. Ready and willing to tell the world how much I loved these glasses, I left them on a the table next to me at dinner after a 12 hour day doing makeovers for the Hue Cool Contours event I hosted and styled at Fashion Week. Needless to say, Valerie came through with another pair for me so I could assume my Roy Orbison persona. These are the Eliza from Spy. Love the fade lense and the non logo, logo on the side. Madonna is a fan you know. The cool thing about Spy glasses is they don't cost as much as say a Dior or Gucci but have such an edgier vibe to them. Who wants to see yourself coming and going? I don't!

No need to change your frames, just get a different color. I love the wood tone. It's hot for all you naturalists out there. Dare I say tree huggers.

Yummy Saturday Sweater

When I worked at Club Monaco circa 1999, and yes the Prince song was playing in the background, this girl came in looking for yummy Saturday sweaters. I've hijacked the term as my own ever since. What a great way to describe this yummy, colorful poncho sweater from one of my favorite New Zealand transplants, Rebecca Taylor. Layered underneath is a Vineyard Vines card, tons of jewels, a hat from Stewart+Brown(eco designers) and of course life is not complete with out a little Pucci. Yes the sunnies are from Emelio Pucci. This is from the October issue of InFashion published by Televisa.
