WoW, we've moved!!

After days of risk to shut down, we've decided to move our store, forum and gallery to another host with loads of space and great benefits.
We couldn't move the domain name Piece-of-Cookie unfortunately, so we had to come up with a new name.

OpalScraps came with the idea of Scrappy Thoughts and that's what our new name is!!

Got a new, new bedcover.
Friday we went to a store with great bedcovers,
and I fell in love with this great fresh blues and greens, so we bought it.
At home I dropped the cover in the washingmachine and dryer,
and asked my hubbie to put it on the bed......Wrong size wheeeee.

Yesterday I called my mother if she wanted the bedcover,
cause otherwise I had to throw it away.
Gladly for me she wanted the bedcover,
so we went again to the store to buy a new one in the right size.
We bought a different patternd,
cause I don't like it when my mom and I have the same one.
Don't know why, but I just don't like it LOL.

And my sweetness bedcover was my inspiration for my new kit
"Sweetness"

Today there was a new little boy in my daycare. Nouvel is a 3 year old boy, who's such an active little guy. Went to the playground, saw movies, went to the playground again, and to the park with the animals, watched tv again, and finally he fell asleep.
And tomorrow it starts all over again, and then with a little baby too.
Boy o boy, I'll appreciate my bed even more now :o)

Still got some time to make a paperpack

cause I see a mixture of chocolate and straw- or raspberries in it.

WoW Doodle Flowers

I've received Adobe Illustrator from my dad, and meeeen what a great program that is!
I love vector thingies and doodles, so I opened it yesterday and played a little bit with it, while the Netherlands were smashed from the soccerfield by Russia.

I made some flowers, handdrawn with my Wacom tablet,
and I think they came out pretty cute.
Still have to learn much of the program,
but it's almost like Photoshop and Paint Shop,
if you know where to find everything.

there are 2 larger flowers and 3 small flowers.
Just to give your LO a little extra touch.

Pfew it's hard work being a designer,

Have to set up the challenges,
and then it's finished.

Well we have to realise that a new forum
is difficult to set up, cause there are so many great forums out there,
but I think we must give it a try.

I always start with creating papers.

I had time to make you a QP.

I found some great flower brushes and turn them into flowerborders.
I chose a darker photo to let you see the border of the frame.

2 introductions

First my new designers!! whoohoo
Farheen from Opalscraps applied for becoming a POCDesigner,
and I sure want her on board, cause her stuff is beautiful.
Next Designer is my friend on the net for years Meetje.
She's also a very great designer.

my 2nd introduction is my Charity donations category in my store.
Each product in that category is made special for a foundation who in need of gifts from others.
I'll make this a monthly comeback.
Every sale from products from the Charity category will be for that particular organisation.
If designers want to design for charity they're welcome to do so.

maybe it's also an idea for other stores, and create a charity chain.
If every store make a charity categorie and we all sell for the same organisation,
I think we can do really good.
A hobby to help others also.
