You know, it's questions such as these that makes my mind run off in endless jabbering. What started off as a simple comment in response to this entry soon grew way out of proportion to the point where it had morphed into a long line of reasoning about inside jokes. I saw no other choice but to give up on it as a comment for your blog and instead made it an entry for mine. Things doesn’t always go as planed, huh?

musburger to me is seeing you at warped tour last year with yellow paint all over your hands, and my pick that i got at the knitting factory.

every time i see that little piece of green plastic taped on the back of my bedroom door i think of the best weekend of my life. i think of asking for directions behind soma, transformers walkie-talkies, driving to hollywood and not being able to find the venue, it's crazy, that weekend i bonded with my brother and sister more that i ever thought possible.

The only thing more frustrating than trying to explain a tattoo, is trying to explain The Matches to someone who has not had the pure luck and joy of experiencing them first hand.
To me Musburger must be gluing plastic rhinestones on a cobalt blue glass that spell out SHAWN, having to walk around with said glass in my purse, and the sheer joy of having someone appreciate the CRUNK JUICE that he will always have in his PIMP CUP, given by two girls from Georgia...in Florida, who were blessed by the tittie fairy.
...and I wonder if he still drinks from our blessed chalice?

I mean... If it wasn't for Musburger's magical presence with The Matches, my best friend and I may have never really had a conversation (because the first one started when she saw a photo of Shawn on my planner in 1st period French 3) and I may never have met some interesting people at shows and online.

Musburger represents The Matches, keeps em safe as the legend goes. To explain what he means for me I’m going to have to use quite a few words. And here they are. ..

The Matches are the first band that have claimed the spot as my favorite. For years when someone would ask me my favorite band I would tell them it was too hard to choose. Looking back I think it was more that there was nothing that I had stumbled across that really captivated me completely. Sure there were verses, songs and even albums but never a band that I inexplicably loved everything about. I love music don’t get me wrong but The Matches are the first band that really grabs me, something that makes my mind go um kyra I like the way those brains work, please feed us this stuff all the time.

You know how when you have some sort of inside joke with someone sometimes things that wouldn’t normally be funny are suddenly epically hilarious? And you laugh so hard it hurts while everyone is looking at you like, is she okay or is she possibly seizing,? But you couldn’t care less about the looks your getting because you are having a grand ol’ time.

That’s kind of how it is.
Some people think I’m obsessed.
But here’s what it is.
I am surrounded by people all the time that makes me cringe, shake my head, and sigh. Not necessarily at the same time but there are a lot of people who just don’t get it. I don’t understand them and they probably think I’m ridiculous. And that’s fine, that’s life, that’s diversity of the brain.

Like-mindedness can be hard to find, so when you find that with someone or something it’s exciting . The Matches are like that for me. Like-mindedness put to music, what more could I ask for?

musburger is synonymous with licking the salty sweat off your upper lip just for the taste.

I've thought long and hard on this one...
Musburger means so much to me.
My friends think I'm crazy but when I think of Musburger, I pray one day I could get one of those shirt one day. And thats where it starts. *hint hint*
SERIOUSLY.
Musburger means a deep connection between my friends that are also fans of The Matches.
He means a good laugh at something my parents don't understand.
He is that special feeling you get at a concert, especially a The Matches show. ESPECIALLY a The Matches show at Warped Tour.
He is a reminder to check back to Heavy Breeding for a new post.
He means screaming lyrics at the top of your lungs no matter where you are because you CAN even though you probably shouldn't.
He is the impulse to dance in random places just because you hear a catchy tune.
He means showing off your artistic style without being considered a show off or being cocky.
He means freedom.
Musburger is a deep spiritual thing, such as Nirvana (not the band...) or Heaven.
