~We were still up north because I remember we came home from Up north by July 8. We were there for a week unlike this year we had to stay for 2 days. :(

~Well, when every year we need to go up north for 4th of July together with family. Then, last two years ago during the 4th of July, we headed to Mackinaw for a visit.

2. Do you consider yourself patriotic? ~ well, I don't know.

3. Do you like fireworks? yes! I love watching them!

4. What are your plans for this weekend? We went up north last Friday therefore I missed Saturday 9.

5. Are you optimistic about the future? Yes, I am!

I am so glad I am back to post my Curious as a Cat entry for this week. Although, I am so-so late but it is so fun to do so.
Anyway, here are the questions for this week's Curious as a Cat:

1) If you could have any view in the world visible from your bed, what would it be?

~Well, it could be a better place, a paradise full of blossoming flowers and clean flowing rivers and falls. I am so eager to see a perfect paradise therefore, seeing such a thing will be wonderful.

2) What's the first movie you remember ever seeing in a theater?

~I think it was a movie entitled Kingkong, I remember my mom brought us three, my sister and my brother to watch this movie.

3) What's the most difficult confession you've ever had to make?

~Well, when I told my parents I have a boyfriend, that's when I was in high school.

4) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.

~I thought he is going to play golf but when I look closer to the picture, he is playing saxophone. Well, I guess he is practicing....

Reliable GPS Systems

Last week, my husband received a GPS system he got after opening a checking account from one of the bank who had previously offering a free GPS system. He was kind so excited about it after he received an email from the bank that they already sent the GPS and he will be getting it soon through a delivery carrier. So, he told me about it and of course, not to miss the delivery. So, at that day, I woke early morning because the delivery carrier who delivers the GPS system is always comes earlier than others, so to make the story short, I got it last week and during the weekend, he was having fun getting to know about his GPS. GPS is really an amazing electronic thing to use because it is absolutely a very helpful in terms of finding the point of interest that you were looking for without printing maps or directions online. Now, I was really convinced that GPS is the good device especially to those people who drives a lot and not good on direction. Pardon me but I can relate to it since I am not that good either. So, now I am looking forward to get my own GPS system as well. Good thing I have found this website that sell gps systems at very affordable prices. Hopefully, soon I could able to get one for myself.

4. Did you watch the original Charlie’s Angels? Nope. I never know that there's actually an original.

6. Did you consider her battle with cancer heroic? I think everyone does who suffer from cancer disease. I think it is a very tough situation to deal with after seeing those people who suffered from cancer.

7. Were you a fan of The Tonight Show Starring Johnnie Carson? No. I never heard of that...

8. Did you like Ed McMahon on the show? Sorry, I never watch such kind a show, maybe I will, if I have time to do so...

New Addition to my Flats Collection

A few weeks ago, I have been browsing online to find the perfect black flats shoe to replace my old one. Since this is summer time, wearing flat shoe is one of the best comfortable to wear aside from flip-flops of course. Anyway, when I was browsing online, I have found one at Fashion Bug website; they have this on sale flats from 19.99 to 9.99 basically a half percent off. So, when I received it from the mail a couple of days ago, I started to wear it right away to school. Since now I have been started to wear them at anywhere we go, it was very cute and very comfy. I always received compliments from it and it was so very stylish flats with pin tucking at toe and side knot trim which added its cute design. It has an approximately 1 ¼ inches high heel so it is not merely flat as what they called it. They have it in black and pewter color, but I got mine in black.

I can’t really wait until my spring classes will end so soon because I am getting so excited to read the novels I just bought online. If you would ask me what kind of books I bought online, it is the Twilight Saga Collection, includes the romantic and suspenseful, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. I love the Twilight movie but reading the book as well can be more than enough from watching the movie. Good thing I only get the book for only $47, which is pretty amazing deal. Isn’t it that surprising that now you can able to shop online for books, novels or even children’s books? I am looking forward to shop for more books for my son as well, as he was on his level of learning.

Good thing that there are a lot of online book store now where you can get cheaper and affordable books like where you can find at the Amazon books store. It is just so amazing because it is so easy to shop now while saving money.

~Oh, it was when I was on my way home, then, there's only single lane road, so all I did was to pull over on the right side though and let him pass because he seems like he's in a hurry, maybe he needed to go to the bathroom or something...

~It was happened eight years ago...

9. What’s the most exotic food that you’ve ate?
~It was last year, it was a combo piece of seafood and some meat, the first time I ate a frog legs...hmmm.....not so good...

New Flats for Summer!

I have some confession to make when it comes to flat shoes. I have bought these particular shoes from Skechers, a line of flats called crossover suede Mary Janes. When it said it has a perforated cushioned footbed wicks to get away the moisture, it’s a lie. It actually made my feet stinks. I have a feet odor that only this shoe produced. Now, I am so bad about it but I don’t want to just throw it away because I paid for only $50 for this. And so, now I am hanging on to it for a while until a few days ago I am so tired of it. I have decided to just throw it away and buy a new one. I don’t want to buy skechers anymore unless I will wear some socks. But, I always love to be barefooted when wearing some flat shoes though so I guess; this shoe is not for me.
Anyway, I went to a lot of store to find the perfect brown flat shoes that does not stink my feet as well. I have found these shoes from Target.com. It’s a flat shoe made by Mossimo Supply, it’s brown Odessa cut out flat.

~Sin? Hmmm...maybe eating too much? Who don't love to eat these days, anyway? But, eating too much is somewhat a sin too, right? It's Gluttony...oh well...

2) Describe your cookie jar, or the closest facsimile you have.

~I don't have a cookie jar but our facsimile is no paper in it and still working and it's on!

3) If you needed to carry a weapon with you all the time, what would you choose?

~A gun...even though I don't know how to shoot....lol!

~an egg shell. It reminds me of way back home in the Philippines. My dad owns ducks and chickens, then every time some of the hen and ducks hatched their eggs, my dad always cleaned up all the egg shells...
Also, it reminds me of eating "Balut" and I loved and missed eating them too! :(
