These lights cause vision problems, and the hum they make, I argue, is slowly driving us insane. I make it a point to ask people I know what they should do with spent batteries. No one knows. I remember the lady at the plant telling us to wash out our jars and cans before throwing them away or else they are not recycled. <BR/><BR/>Saving the planet is going to mean much much more than screwing in a fluorescent light bulb. I'm not sure to find the statistic, but young people are far more likely to be killed by older people than people in their own age group. (I.E.
