Mr. Rall, the invasion of Afghanistan was just as unjustfiable as Iraq? Really? I was disgusted like people would fall into taking the bait of the right-wing for making Tillman their poster child. Nobody deserves to be a propaganda tool, especially one who is dead. You didn't know Tillman more than I did yet you judged him based on the fact there were pictures of him in celebration that made him seem like a 21st century Rambo. He was hardly stupid in interviews I saw of him.

Also,just because he read a lot of Noam Chomsky books doesn't mean he agreed with everything he said. I don't always agree with Chomsky and I've read and own a lot of his books.

well i consider myself very leftist, and i strongly disagree with the war in iraq, their was no point in it, it was just a wast of 60,000 lives but the war in afganistan was more than justified, thats where Al-qeada was (though they where also in afganistan), and there is no oil their (per say). one other thing that annoys me is your portrayal of US military personel as dumb brutes, it's disturbing, i dont think that their
