"Saturday" At Brighton Rocks

Starting on Saturday 28th February, "Saturday" at Brighton Rocks is a new night that uses locally sourced dj's, producers, record labels and crate diggers who will bring the sound of real house, disco, boogie, rare 12's and loft party grooves to 6, Rock Place in Kemptown on a monthly basis.

The bar itself has recently been taken over by a private concern who are aiming to bring some much needed musical life back into Kemptown over each weekend going into the summer months and beyond.

Saturday 28th February, guest Dan Daub (local deep house music producer)

Saturday 22nd March, guest Webb Twisco (disco,boogie and cosmic set)

This will be the second year that Beachdown Festival takes over the South Downs just outside of Brighton.

Disco, house, broken beat, dance floor jazz, soul, funk, reggae and all manner of groove based dance music for four days up on the downs.

The initial line up details have been released and things are already looking fairly tidy. Expect many more names to be added with some very special announcements believed to be coming soon.
