There are so many different mapping systems in metaphysics and the occult science for approaching and understanding life. Many people who are reading this know that life can be very challenging at times. But what if I told you that there was a way to definitely change the whole thing by shifting life itself in your favor 100 percent of the time? It has also been said that whoever knows that Krsna is the Supreme Lord knows everything and is freed from all miseries! Isnt that we we are even into metaphysics and holistic practices? We all want to be freed from suffering dont here but the secret is that there is only one way out! With the worsening financial crisis in the world economic arena, it is apparent that even the most so called wealthy people really have little. However, Lord Sri Krsna lived as this earth with more wealth than anybody else ever has accumulated. he had so much wealth that He had 16,000 wives each with their own castle! Why is it that Lord Sri Krsna was so wealthy and powerful. Simply put, because He is no ordinary person. He is not one of us! He is the storehouse of all wealth and power. He is the father of everything which is why He clearly had no trouble supplying for His many thousands of wives with great luxury. What if I told you that Sri Krsna can do the same for you or anybody out there? What if I told you that right now you can be rescued by the same force that is responsible for causing the Fridge Phenom eon--Lord Sri Krsna because he is everything and more! When we grow to understand that Sri Krsna is really everything and everywhere at one time, then we see the forest for the trees, and the mountains for the peaks! The science of God is the science of knowing who Sri Krsna is and that He is indeed smaller than the smallest particle. When you internalize that Krsna is your paycheck or the lack thereof, and that he is your distress and the release therefrom, then you truly see what is going on beneath the surface of life. When we understand the he is the only one God and that His qualities are ineffable, then we have put all of the pieces together in this human life. Since we know that Hari Krsna Himself is money, and the best financial security even in the worst of times, we can worship Him and make the situation a friend. So many people strugge so hard to understand money, especially those with tumbling wall street stocks. The secret is that money is Sri Krsna! So serve Him just like you'd serve your boss. Thats why so many people's bosses are making their worst dreams come true by firing them! These people need to serve God and thats what He is trying to convey to them. When you serve Krsna, that is when that same energy causing the Fridge Phenomenon (Krsna) out of nowhere will hit you with everything you need and much much more! Take it from me. Krsna had to do a lot to get my attention but now that He has it, my life is illuminated more and more every second. My chakras are being galvanized and purified more every second which is why life itself begins to unfold in a whole new way for the unswerving and unflinching devotees of the Lord. And guess what else? Its not "shabby" when its coming from the Man Uptairs. By analogy when Krsna throws His doggie a biscuit, then its the best one in town for sure. Its always the best of the best. Its the best job, the best wife (even if you have to wait) the best of fortune, the best kamra, and the best wealth and financial security. Many people believe that its the Law of Attraction that governs everything that happens. Yes! They are right, that these laws of the universe control our lives for the most part, but should we forget or deride the Lord of the Universe (Jaganatha)?? When we recognize that even the Law of Attraction itself IS KRSNA, thats when this law of the universe turns majorly in our favor and works more powerfully than ever before! And, since everything works as a system in the universe, imagine the benefits of totally wrking in harmoney with an important part of this system called life...The Universe itself at the core! Since He is everything down to the smallest particle, we ought to worship Him with all of our hearts, just like he says in the Holy Gita! That is when everything down to the smallest particle that is energy, Krsna, "thinking energy" actually turns in our favor like never before. And there is no other way to become liberated from the punishment of maya because Lord Sri Krsna is Maya! That is why when we worship Him, "Maya" has to let us go from the clucthes and actually function in our favor for a change! That's when you will see that money you need fast! That's when your children will have that car or educational wherewithal and resources that they need. When we were young, we had no knowledge of Sri Krsna as the Father. The Vedas go so far as to say that He is the Great grandfather! That is why when people are in need of money in Vedic culture which is closest to God, they go to Sri Krsna! Because money is a very serious matter and God is the only one who is powerful enough to help you with it. To even think that there was some other way to be financially solvent and protected on all levels is only ignorance. Money is obviously a huge deal on planet Earth, and that is why it is necessary for everything! Since we know that everything is Sri Krsna, we automatically know that money is definitely Krsna. That is why its such a big deal and why most people have little to no financial security until the surrender unto Him fully! In times like this, people need this information to help themselves! When money itself which is only Krsna (thinking energy) becomes literally a dear friend to us, and when we know its Krsna, we can resonate with Him and money will come from all directions. Such is the mystic power of God! our job is to know that money is so crucial on Earth because Krsna needs to get our attention somehow. After He has it, then he can bless us so that we know who our master is. The smart pet knows who his master is so that he can always return home in comfort and security. Since Sri Krsna is all spirit our minds can connect with Him here and now as our one and only Master! At that point, just like the cozy house pet, our whole essence is pulled into the frequency of Godhead which incidentally is our real home. The key to life is to use this concept of Krsna being money and the lack thereof (for those who dont serve Him), and applying it by analogy to the rest of life. Since everything is energy, when we chant the Maha Mantra, that energy which is also Krsna becomes satisfied with us! That energy is certainly connected to the entire web of life in all of the universes God has created. That means that the whole of creation which is also Krsna becomes what? It becomes what Lord Sri Krsna said that he is in Srimad Bhagwad-Gita...Your "most dear friend!" That is exactly why even in the worst of times on earth, the devotees of the Lord are always protected by Krsna. And, it has been confirmed by the greatest spiritual masters that when Krsna is protecting you, then there is nothing in all of the three worlds that can ever hurt you. I dont care who you are, what you have done in the past, or where you are from. Sri Krsna is you direct key to the supernatural without question. The fact that Krsna can bring you money very quickly and easily and economic relief is only one very small peice of evidence of the mystic powers that He can give you. Haribol Hari Krsna! Glories of the Lord

In terms of beauty, Krsna lived on Earth for 125 years, before he decided to depart back to His abode in Krsnaloka. His departure was known as a disappearance as evidenced in the first Canto of Srimad Bagavatam in chapter fourteen. All of the incarnations of God are said to "disappear" instead of passing away" or "dying," as we have varying degrees of control over when we leave our physical bodies. What happens is that we commonly enter into a state known as Tandra typically during sleep or deep meditation that is much more vivid than the physical plane. Tandra is directly associated with highly elevated levels of kundalini. The best analogy I can give for Westerners is that Tandra is very similar to astral projection. The value of it in yogic studies is that we learn how to "project" in to this other world much easier by working with divine Shakti. When we are there, it is no problem to just stay, and I usually have the choice to never come back down here from this level. his is why the Lord's divine incarnations are said to "disappear." However, Krsna in His original form had perfect control over this just like everything else, as He is the Supreme Controller (Isvara).

Krishna revealed Vishwarupa at different times to different people …The mother angry at her child shouts, the child starts crying with wide open mouth. The universe is revealed to the mother thanks to her love for the child. The baby showers The Love on the loving young lady in return.The Gopis are curious about this young dark handsome boy with their adolescent admiration and love for the magnificent youth radiating from the boy. The naughty youth reveals its splendor in all the cowboys around. The young boy pours the youthful energy from allaround.The enraged Shishupaala shouts through his lungs innumerable names of Krishna in an attempt to insult Him. The freasome ego trembling with fear of death wants to murder The Krishna and embraces The Death instantly in return. The poor young woman Droupadi is dragged around by the insensitive rogues in public. The lady with shattered self-esteem calls for her devout friend, brother and god – Krishna. The Krishna is revealed instantly in her dignity that can never be corrupted by anything radiating Its purity all around. The arrogant Duryodhana challenges what could be this Krishna after all. The sadhaks around suggest what IT could be – the all powerful force. The cunning intellect wants to capture the power so that there could be no challenge to its hegemony over the world. The arrogant intellect understands everything is Krishna including himself. Then what is Krishna's use?! The perplexed arrogance drops the idea of Krishna muttering "useless fellow!" The useless fellow remains worthless to him. The great warrior Arjuna is down to his knees with his vivd imagination of himself being the cause for a great distruction –that too, his own beloved elders, cousins and friends … He seeks the guidance from his cousin, friend, guru, and soul– Krishna. The Krishna is revealed in The Absolute of his consciousness where all the emotions and relations, objects and images, actions and thoughts, inherent nature and apparent properties, earth and sun, moon and stars, water and space, anything and everything, … and nothing dance around in infinitude and yet being THAT as such. The friend becomes everything to Arjuna. Depending on one's nature one yerns for Krishna in one's own fashionand IT is revealed accordingly. If one seeks sadnes around, Sadness He is. If one seeks arrogance around, Arrogance He is. If one seeks happiness around, Happiness He is. … If one seeks nothing, Nothing He is. … If one seeks Him in everything, Everything He is.He IS what you want … He IS what you do not want … HE IS also whatever you never considered …He IS what you have … He IS what you do not have … HE IS also whatever you could never hold …He IS what you know … He IS what you do not know … HE IS alsowhatever you could not think ...He IS what you did ... Real Bhajan

What is "true bhajan"? It is a state where the name of God is appears sweet to you. God should be liked by you-naturally and automatically. "Love for God is real bhajan". This is an inner sentiment. It arises from "self" - "acceptance by self"- due to" mineness with God". Love for God then is natural, spontaneous and automatic. You remember then God , without remembering, without any conscious effort at your end. Just as , if you are Brahmin,/ married you need not remember so always. You are that even without remembering. There after all your deeds and actions will be automatically in accordance with "brahminhood" / "married".Similarly when you have "mineness" with your child- the love for the child is automatic. You don't have to "do" something. Your mind, ego, intellect, body thereafter shall automatically do the deeds for the good of that child.Hence the real bhajan emanates from the "self/soul" - when self establishes mineness with God. Thereafter even if you are doing worldly duties, you in fact are doing God's work only - in other words Bhajan only. When you have "become" of God, then your bhajan has started. Now if you are sleeping, then who is sleeping? God's child is sleeping! When you work , you are working on behalf of God. When you take care of family members , you in fact are taking care of God's children, His agents. You have connection only with God. When you eat, you are eating God's prasad only. Where you live is God's house only. That is bhajan.Bhajan is not "tota ratant" (parrot like chanting-without mineness/love) . Had that been so , all parrots must have got liberated. In practical life also we find many "bhajananandis" who like a parrot keep chanting God's name but still we do not witness peace/bliss/ radiance in them. Reason is they have not established "mineness" with God. God is one of many for them. Aeons may pass , but true realisations may not come. They will have better lives, more peace than others, better children but that is all. Such people normally call realisation to be a "gradual process". They get split between world and God. World is still "mine" for them. To the extent world is mine there is no bhajan by them. Hence primary factor is mineness with God.If you have established mineness with God- by accepting " I am of God, only God is mine, nothing else is mine" - your each and every activity is a bhajan.Real "bhajan" is never "done". It "happens" . Your mind then will not have to be forced to do bhajan. Automatically, it will get directed towards God. Since it is "inert" , it will not be able to reach God but then since Self has become of God- mind will attain tranquillity automatically. It will stop wandering for sense gratification- because mind's director Self is not interested in sense gratification. . It will spontaneously chant God's name only. Your entire body will start getting "chinmay". Each and every action/inaction/ silence etc will be bhajan only.Hence the true bhajan is "mineness" with God and that mineness is established by Self only through correct acceptance as above. Automatically God will become sweet for you, love for God will be at all times, in all deeds.Chanting God's name alone without mineness with Him is only a good karma, which will give you good result and with that result it will extinguish. A married Indian traditional woman never utters the name of her husband throughout her life, still because she has established "mineness" with her husband- she is considered his always. Similarly once you have established mineness with God - you have become of God. Nothing more need to be done. Even when you are answering nature's call or when you are taking bath- you are doing bhajan only.

When we see this energy manifesting through refrigerators, light bulbs, automobiles, cash registers and other random technologies, we can learn more about how this energy functions on a technical level. If a person raises the dead or supposedly heals the sick spontaneously and then basically walks away, what has the whole world learned about the energy works on a technical level? This divine force manifests in the material world in unlimited ways. Since we know it is a cosmic force, it also can function to take us wherever we want to go in the spiritual skies and even into the Kingdom of God itself. It is my distinct karma to produce certain spectacular PK effect consistently, which is totally subjective. Interestingly enough, this subjectivity is not different from the outside world that everybody else witnesses. Love of God in Everybody

The reason why most people fall into the trap of hate and avoiding love for all is because they don't recognize that God really lives in everybody's heart and He is controlling all that they do. They also fail to recognize that my pleasing God through yoga, this supersoul aspect of God is pleased and always reciprocates. When we focus in the fact the God controls all, it makes it much easier to understand why people have treated us in undesirable ways. Furthermore, eliminating the element of hate from the heart through yogic understanding accelerates the rotation of the heart chakra, leading to much greater control over matter. The element of hate in the heart naturally retards the rotation of the heart chakra, which deprives the higher chakras of vital energy. Usually, this mistreatment which causes us to hate leads us to much higher ground. This is the role of God in the heart, so we should seek to understand what He is doing at all times through others instead of hating them.

It is well known among Eastern mystics that God lives with in the hearts of everybody. In fact, this was a constant theme that my Dutch Guru constantly impressed upon me by his words and actions. Vedic and yogic schools teach that God dwells within our heart chakra, as the four handed Vishnu Narayana, also known as the localized Paramatma supersoul. He is all-pervading.

It should be noted here that the Vendanta advises yogis to ignore all signs of miracles, as they distract the mind from the highest goal which is union with the Supreme Personality of Godhead. In this book, I make the same recommendation to my readership. Now the choice is yours about how you will to use this divine force--for make it back to Godhead or not. These miraculous displays including the FP are only here as evidence of the presence of God's divine energy. Ultimately, it is all of of our karmic duties to use these manifestations of God's power to figure out how to fly back to Him; back to His abode in the spiritual skies.

Brainwaves and the Law of Attraction

You & Your Brain Waves
Often when people ask, "What is Alpha?", they are really asking, "What is Alpha good for?", and "What does Alpha mean to me?" Answering the first question leads into the other two.
What is Alpha? It is one of four basic brain waves [Delta, Theta, Alpha, and Beta], which make up the EEG, which is short for electroencephalogram. These are all oscillating electrical voltages in the brain, but they are very tiny voltages, just a few millionths of a volt. The Alpha waves oscillate about 10 time per second, and the range is 8-13 cycles per second. The brain waves called "Alpha" were the first to be discovered (around 1908, by an Austrian Psychiatrist named Hans Berger). That is why they are called "Alpha", they were first. Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet, like our "a".
Many hundreds of scientists have spent a lot of time studying these basic brain waves of the EEG, so there is a lot of basic knowledge about what Alpha is and what makes it appear and disappear in our brains. Yes, Alpha appears and disappears. It is not always present. For example, in deep sleep there is no Alpha, and if someone is very highly aroused as in fear or anger, again there is virtually no Alpha. Delta is seen only in the deepest stages of sleep (Stages 3 and 4). Theta is seen in light sleep and drowsiness (sleep stages 1 and 2). Alpha is seen in wakefulness where there is a relaxed and effortless alertness. Beta is seen in highly stressful situations, and where there is difficult mental concentration and focus.
Delta waves are the slowest oscillating waves (0-4 cycles per second). Theta waves oscillate somewhat faster (4-7 cycles per second). Alpha waves oscillate 8-13 times per second. Beta waves oscillate still faster (13-40 cycles per second). There are many other kinds of electrical activity in the brain, especially the short-lived evoked potentials that occur when the brain responds to sensory input (like a sound, or a touch, or a flash of light). However, the four basic EEG waves of Delta, Theta, Alpha, and Beta constitute the standard lineup of EEG activity.
The foregoing discussion makes the point that each of the four basic EEG waves is linked to a different state of consciousness. Each of the four types of waves is good for something different. However, we can get into trouble if we can not turn on the type of brain wave needed for the task at hand. For example, if we can not turn on Theta and Delta waves, we will suffer from insomnia, among other things. On the other hand, people who can turn on the ideal brain waves to deal with each and every situation are considered gifted.
One useful metaphor compares the four basic brain waves (Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta) with the four gears on a car. Delta (the slowest wave) is first gear. Theta is second gear. Alpha is third gear. Beta is fourth gear. No one gear is best for every driving situation, and no one brain wave is best for all of the challenges of life. We get into trouble if one of the gears on our car goes out, or if we forget to use some of the gears. For example if we drive our car starting in first gear, and then shifting directly into fourth gear (skipping second and third), we will have low gas mileage and high repair bills. The same is true of our brains. Sadly, many people often skip their second and third brain gears (Theta and Alpha). The consequences of driving our brains in this manner are low productivity and high medical bills. How does this happen?
The way this occurs in everyday life can be illustrated by an example. People often wake up suddenly out of a deep sleep (Delta) with an alarm. Then they immediately feel stress and anxiety (Beta) about being late or being under time pressure. After insufficient sleep they pour caffeine down their throats to force themselves into (Beta) wakefulness, and the caffeine suppresses Theta and Alpha, while promoting Beta. All day they work under stress, pressure, and time urgency (Beta, Beta, and more Beta), until at night, they fall exhausted into deep sleep (Delta), having spent too little time unwinding, relaxing, and drowsing (which would have given them a bit more Alpha and Theta). Thus many people shift their brains suddenly and forcefully from Delta to Beta, and then back to Delta.
Alpha production is an innate skill of our brains, but one consequence of the modern stressful lifestyle is that we forget how to produce Theta and Alpha brain waves. Then we easily fall victim to anxiety and stress-related diseases. Anxiety and stress measurably reduce the strength of our immune systems. People who have more Alpha brain waves have less anxiety. Thus having more Alpha waves could mean less anxiety and, correspondingly, stronger immune systems, and this is good for everyone.
Creativity is another activity for which Alpha is helpful. Scientists have shown that highly creative people have different brain waves from normal and non-creative people. In order to have a creative inspiration, your brain needs to be able to generate a big burst of Alpha, mostly on the left side of the brain. The brains of creative people can generate these big Alpha bursts, and do so when they are faced with problems to solve. Normal and non-creative people do not produce Alpha increases when they are faced with problems, and so they can not come up with creative ideas and solutions. Any time you have an insight or an inspiration, you know your brain just produced more Alpha waves than usual. Increased creativity is helpful for everyone.
Peak performance is another activity for which Alpha is helpful. Recently sports scientists have shown that increases of Alpha brain waves (often in the left side of the brain) precede peak performance. One key difference between novice and elite athletes is in their brain waves. Just before his best free throws, an elite basketball player will produce a burst of Alpha on the left side of their brain. Just before their best strokes, elite golfers will produce a burst of Alpha in their left brain. Just before their best shots, elite marksmen and archers will produce a burst of Alpha in their left brains. Novice and intermediate athletes do not show this Alpha pattern. However, one study of archers training over many weeks, showed that as they improved their performance, they gradually increased the amount of left brain Alpha which occurred just before their best shots. The Alpha brain waves seemed to be essential for peak performance and were increased, albeit slowly, by the archery training.
What does Alpha mean to me? If you want to feel less stress and anxiety, you should increase the amount of your Alpha waves. This may also improve the strength of your immune systems, since stress weakens the immune systems. If you want to be more creative, you should learn how to increase the amount of your Alpha waves. If you want to have more peak performance in athletic activity, and in other areas of your life, you should learn how to increase the amount of your Alpha waves. Some people are born healthy and mellow and gifted with creativity and athletic prowess. But what if you are not so lucky?

Hari Krsna! Yes, the power of chanting can not be overstated. I have found it easiest to chant on and off nonstop. Congegational chanting is so beautiful and it is also easy to chant right along. The power of chanting the Maha mantra to purify the heart is so potent that it often makes us cry. When you have chanted so much and you feel the spirit of the Lord so strong that you cry, then you know youv'e tapped into some power. LOL !!

Often when chanting we also feel a strong fuzzy, warm and tingly feeling all over our aura. That is evidence that your vibration is being effected by this chanting. Its the pranic kundalini energy rising in the body, from the chakra base of your spine. Actually there is a lot of information about how vibrational changes affect everyting that is manifested in our world. Chanting aligns us with the frequency of light where we find all that is auspicous.

We Can Actually Change Our Lives and Really Heal It!!!

So many people constantly wonder how it is they they can actually change their lives and heal! We all try so much in the realm of spirituality, religion and metaphysics all for one purpose: To positively and permanently change our lives. From psychotronics, to Fung Shui, to Yoga and magickal practices, we are all searching for the truth. We are all seeking that inner change that really leads us to happiness and fullfillment in this life. The good news is that we need not look any futher for the answers. The Lord is so merciful and benevolenbt that has has empowered the Gurus to impart this mystic knowledge to the world to ease its suffering.

Here is "The Secret" and it does not need to be complicated: Everything in existence is constantly in motion and vibration. The vibration of a thing determines its motion. As most of know lower vibrations are connected with lower energies, while the higher vibrations are connected to corresponding freqencies. Even the atom and the electron are characterized by vibration. We as humans exist on many different levels. On all of these levels we can see that vibration is the common thread, and that the vibration has a very real effect on whatever it is connected to. Now imagine having the power to at will control your vibration. We are spirits in human bodies, both of which are vibrating and effecting each. The rotational vibration of the chakras is factually what effects every aspect of the human experience!

So when we entertain thoughts and perform actions that are connected to lower energies, the vibration of our chakras and aura is affected. That in turn affects everything that solidifies in the third dimension. That's popularly known as "bad karma." Our chakras and auras do not exist here in the third deminsion. However, they directly control what passes over and solidifies here on the physical plane. The key concept here is that of "alignment," which is that all vibrations are aligned and associated with other similar vibrating energies. That is why "birds of a feather flock together," and why positive energy can only attract more positive energy that it is structurally connected to. Only positive things can be born out of positive energy and vise versa. So when we choose to align ourselves with the positive forces in the universe by thinking positively and thereby affecting the vibraton of our chalkras and auras, then only positve things can result from that mere decision!

And, when we make that decision, it will immediately become apparent that our lives are not the same. By aligning ourselves with the light, which is the higher vibrational path, we can avoid all problems in life entirely by cintriolling it. So it does not matter how much magick we do, how many psychotrnics operations that we pereform, if we ar enot living in the light by decision, then they will not even work to benefit us or create any positive things we want. The mystical doorways to happiness which is our birthright open up when we stop and decide that we will live in the light by controlling the our thought vibrations. There are many activities that have been prescribed over the ages by great sages, rishis and Gurujis which are intended to control our vibrations. So please note that the secret to controlling life itself and living in happiness is not magick, its not hypnosis, its not mere affirmation, its the concept of vibrational control, manipulation and engineering. Many people wonder how metaphysical practices work. The secretr is that the mind obviously can control these vibrations with ease! It can project them at any distance and even onto other people which is why prayer works "miracles."

Actually its not a miracle at all. Its just simply projecting certain vibrational energies onto a target, which are used to heal. The healing happens because the vibrations being projected onto the person are "aligned" with the dispositions of healling and wellness. We are all doing this every day and every second of our lives as we think about various issues. So we can control our life fundamanetally by controlling the way that we think. If we take the time to examine our life, we can see that there is undoubtedly some connection between the predominant vibrations that we are living on and our daily experience. That is the macro-level conept of howe to control and heal your life. That is the big picture, so get started on imporving every area of your life. Lord Sri Krsna/Narayana is all auspicious, so when we chant the Maha Mantra enough, it certainly changes the vibration of our chakras and our whole bineg. It aligns it with all that is auspicious in the universe. Hence the Hare Krishna old cliche: "Chant and be happy!" Chan ting only leads us to happiness by causing miracles to happen out of nowhere that make us happy. These miracles materialize in the third dimension only because chanting is a direct way of aligning ourselves with the most positive vibrational energies.

Now, "Oming" has a very similar affect. It alters the vibration, which scientifically affects the individual on all levels because everything boils down to viobration. The power of vibration can not be overstated because everything in the entire universe is vibrating in some harmonious fashon, and one small adjustment in the vibration could throw the whole thing off. Well, thats what most of us want in our lives. We want to throw the whole thing off because its not going the way we want. So there is no harm in throwing it off of the negative and into the light! I challeneg you to do whatever it takes to control your vibrations at the core of your chakras and auras. you will be totally amazed at the reults you get in terms of repairing your life and resolving all of those problems that have gone stale in your life for one reason: No motion! We all want motion when we have hit a "dead end in life." What most fail to recognize is that principle I just cited: " Vibration is what controls the motion!" So we really need to focus on that end of our existence instead of the external affairs so much. When we look around, we can see that most uinhappy people are totally focused on their external material affairs at the expense of divine knowledge.

Laughing Yoga For Better Sexual Health

How do sex and energy co-exist and blend with yoga? They are a twin-ship, even if we don't see them that way. Let's begin with the ancient practice of yoga. Yoga means to yoke - to blend mind, body and spirit. And now - sex. Think of it - when the mind is busy, busy, busy, we stay unaware of our sensations, our perceptions, the smells, sounds, and tastes all around us. Good sex is letting go of the mind and getting into, really into, the sensations/pleasures/feeling of the experience. People are born with an innate awareness of these senses - but as we get older, we lose that primitive, wonderful sense of our internal self. And so basically, for the sexual experience to be a high, we need to forgo all thought and get into the energy of the experience, feel it in all of you.

"Chi" energy contains two polar forces: yin and yang. In everyday terms, yin is often connected with female energy, yang with the male. But each of us, male and female, contain both. As such, what is needed, for both is balance. Unbalanced, you are in a state of dis-ease. Too much yang is the overly-active person, always on the move, can't stay still; too much yin, the opposite.

The formation of all sexual energy is Prana - the driving force of sensuality, vital energy, and passion. Prana means breath and is an innermost belief in Yoga offering enriching, escalating sexual activity. So- look at your Prana and Chi. Are you out of balance - too much of one thing - too little of another? Too little laughter, too much work?

Yoga combined with laughter creates an increased energy body response by enhancing circulation, increasing the heart rate, and exercising muscles of the face and stomach. Laughing is jogging for the heart, mind, body and spirit.

Hare Krishna ! Dandavat Pranams to Bhagavan Sree Krishna and all His Bhaktas !

The "Bala-Leelas" ( Pranks of Baby Krishna) , remain the greatest wonders of this world , even after 5000 years of His disappearance . We can not find a similar "Bala-Leela" of any other God , Goddess or Celestial in world history .

See how skillfully , naturally and sweetly Sage Veda Vyasa has narrated Krishna-Leelas in Srimad Bhagavatham !!!. It's reader or listener will enjoy it's nectarean bliss - eyes will be filled with tears of joy and his hair will stand on the tip .

Though it was written thousands of years back , it's illustrations still remain as fresh as ever defying the time . There is no material in Bhagavatham that needs to be updated with time . We , our children and our ancestors have imitated Krishna-leelas during childhood .

Let us look at a glance in to the "Bala-Leelas" Krishna has performed in Vrindavan .

Since Krishna's birth , both mother Yeshoda and father Nandagopa were worried by the several attempts on his life as listed below :

Puthana tried to kill infant Krishna by poisonous breast feeding .
Sakadasura tried to kill baby Krishna , in the form of a cart . Luckily the broken cart did not fall on the baby .
Thrinavarthasura came as a Toranado . He lifted infant Krishna towards the sky . Fortunately, the Baby despite falling on a rock , was not hurt .
When Child Krishna pulled on the Mortar , it got struck between two huge trees . The falling trees just missed the Child .

Seeing these events , the wise and elderly Cowherd Upandana adviced the worried parents " Bhagavan's mercy saved our Baby Krishna's life from all these dangers . If we stay here any longer , more serious dangers will come . Before that let us abandon Amabadi and move on to a safer place . I have found one such place . It is called Vrindavana . The dense vegetation there is most ideal for our cows and Cowherds .

Listening to this advice , they abandoned Ambady and shifted to Vrindavana . Seeing the beautiful forests in Vrindavana , Kalindi river , and Govardharna mountain , both Krishna and Balarama became very happy . Bhagvan Krishna thought that this is the best place to perform His divine pastimes . Both of them grew up with every passing day . Leaving the cows for eating in the meadows , they used to roam around with their cowherd friends . Krishna used to play his flute melodiously . Some times they used to fight with the Bulls , sing with the Birds and play with the friends . In this way both Sri Krishna Balarama enchanted everyone with their beautiful pranks . ( Please see attached Pictures of little Sree Krishna) .

Krishna's *Bala-leela* , described in Narayaneeyam :

· Oh Murari ! You along with Your brother Balarama, crawled all over the house on Your hands and knees, lighting up the place most charmingly. Eager to hear the tinkling sound of Your anklet bells, on Your lotus feet, the two of You, went roaming as fast as You both could.

The gentle smile revealing the pearly white teeth, the curls of hair falling on the face, the soles of the lotus feet showing while crawling and the bangles sliding down the arms and resting on the wrists, with all these charming features, the two of You, enthralled the hearts of the spectators.

· Oh Vaasudeva ! How great was the ecstasy of the people who followed with indulgent, expectant looks, You and Your brother, as the two of You crawling rapidly, and gurgling softly, turned Your lotus like faces and smiled charmingly at them.

· In Your attempts to move fast, the two of You would fall down and get mudstained ; Your two mothers would come rushing there and cradling You both lovingly in their arms, would kiss and caress You both repeatedly, while the unsullied (pure-hearted) sages in the heavens, would sing Your praises, smilingly.

· Oh You who came in the guise of a delusive cowherd ! Yasoda, the most blessed of all souls, would cradle You in her lap and suckle You at her breasts, overflowing with milk, mind wavering with excitement; seeing Your charming face, with the budding teeth and bewitching smile, while feeding You, she would be overjoyed.

· Then, as You grew a little bigger and could walk steadily, You, along with other cowherd children, in neighbouring houses, would play and engage in childish pranks and mischief, chasing household pets, like parrots, cats and calves and would be laughingly stopped by the gopas somehow.

· Oh Murari ! Wherever You wandered, playing, with Your brother Balarama, (Haladhara), the gopis, oblivious of their household duties, forgetting their children and servants, followed You, with star-struck eyes, bewildered and at the same time, delighted by Your charming appearance.

· Having a desire to eat the fresh butter offered by the gopis, You sang sweet songs, pronouncing the words indistinctly and sometimes danced too, exuding utmost charm. You ate the fresh butter, the gopis kindly gave You and sometimes You drank the freshly boiled milk offered by them.

· Oh Lord ! In one of Your earlier incarnations, as a Brahmin boy, Vamana, You had gone to beg for land, to the house of Maha Bali, (who was powerful), a humiliation, which You did not wish to undergo before these defenceless women and hence You took to stealing curd and butter through Your ingenious tricks in this most charming incarnation of Yours.

· Oh Gurvayurappa ! The gopis bore no ill-will toward You for stealing their curds and butter and they were never angry or unhappy for that, because You had stolen their hearts and drowned them in the ocean of bliss. May You of such divine acts, save me from disease.

· Once, seeing the moon above the trees, You, thinking it to be a fruit, pestered Your parents to get it for You and being told by them in sport, to ask it to come down, and lo and behold, the moon descended straight into Your hands as also the entire collection of stars with which You attained Your Virat Purusha form.

Appearance of Bhagavan Sri Krishna, the God of Gods !!!!

Krishna Janmasthami: Appearance day of the Supreme Personality of Godhead

Lord Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. God is a person. Just as we think, feel and will, God also does. And just as when the President or Prime Minister of a country goes travelling, the agenda is planned many months in advance and his mission and the places where he will go are all announced beforehand, similarly Krishna appears at specified times within this universe, and the scheduled time of His appearance is announced in the Vedic literatures, specifically Srimad-Bhagavatam, also known as the Bhagavata Purana.

Then, in the twentieth incarnations, the Lord advented Himself as Krishna in the family of Vrsni, and by so doing He removed the burden of the world. - (Srimad Bhagavatam 1.3.23)

The incarnation of Godhead, descends from the kingdom of God for creating and maintaining the material manifestation. And the particular form of the Personality of Godhead who so descends is called an incarnation, or avatar. The Srimad Bhagavatam states that there are countless incarnations just like the waves of the oceans. They fall in various categories like lila (pastime), yuga (period of yuga), manavantara (period of Manu), purusa (Vishnu expansions) and shaktivesa (empowered). These incarnations perform various pastimes based on the time, place and circumstances, but their purpose is always the same - "to attract the conditioned souls back to their eternal spiritual abode".

The incarnations emanate from Vishnu. Maha-Vishnu is the original cause of all material creation and from Him Garbhodakashai- Vishnu expands and then Ksirodakasayi- Vishnu. Generally all incarnations appearing within the material world are plenary portions of Ksirodakasayi- Vishnu. However once in a day of Lord Brahma (which lasts for 4.32 billion of earthly years), does Krishna descend in His original form, as the avataree, the cause of all incarnations. Krishna is the original Personality of Godhead. This fact is stated and corroborated in the Vedic scriptures and by various authorities. Lord Brahma in Brahma Samhita 5.1 says:

" Krishna who is known as Govinda is the Supreme Godhead. He has an eternal blissful spiritual body. He is the origin of all. He has no other origin and He is the prime cause of all causes."

In the Srimad Bhagavatam Krishna is the chief object of devotion. After describing various incarnations of the Lord such as Rama, Balarama, Vamana, Nrsimha, Budha and Kalki, Sukadeva Goswami states:

"All of the above mentioned incarnations are either plenary portions or portions of the plenary portions of the Lord, but Lord Krishna is the original Personality of Godhead" (SB 1.3.28).

In the Padma Purana it is stated, "By scrutinizingly reviewing all the revealed scriptures and judging them again and again, it is now concluded that Lord Narayana is the Supreme Absolute Truth, and thus He alone should be worshipped".

Similarly it is said in the Skanda Purana, "In the material world, which is full of darkness and dangers, combined with birth and death and full of different anxieties, the only way to get out of the great entanglement is to accept loving transcendental devotional service to Lord Vasudeva. This is accepted by all classes of philosophers" .

The position of Krishna as God is confirmed by great personalities like Narada, Asita, Devala, Vyasa, Parasara, Brahma and Shiva. Finally Krishna Himself confirms this fact in the Bhagavad-gita to His friend and devotee, Arjuna:
"I am the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods" (Bg 5.29.)
"There is no truth superior to Me" (Bg 7.7.)
"I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me" (Bg 10.8)

Eckhart Tolle said this wonderful Zen concept. The reason it’s so wonderful is that if you accept this as a fact, then you’ll never have to worry about anything again. How’s that for a start?

Everything you can think of, that makes you worried, is only a thought. It is never something you have to deal with right now. And if it’s not right now, then you have no control over it and yet you feel the need to do something about it. No wonder you start feeling helpless at some point.

The other source of bad emotions is the past. No matter if that’s 20 years or 20 minutes ago. Letting go of the past is crucial if you want to live a happy life. Holding on to it can limit your potential. We’re talking about the bad things here. You CAN let go of them. Blaming others for things you’ve attracted is like denying your power to create your reality. All you have is the present, and if you’re waiting for some future moment when everything will be nice and sunny, you’ll never reach it. If you see the present as some obstacle between you and your happiness, then that happiness will never come. The present holds your only means to get where you want, and if you deny that, you’ll never go anywhere. If you accept it, the sky is the limit.

In terms of us not treading the Buddhist path, there is a long standing rift between the Buddhists and the Vaishnavas. However, Lord has instructed us in the Gita to be "friendly to everybody." It is not in our character to outright dislike Buddhists, disrespect or mistreat them in any way. On the other hand, we do strongly dissent from their views and definitely regard them as more "demoniac" in nature. And, that is only because the demoniac nature is to be sharply and carefully distinguished from the divine. It is a spectrum where on one end there is the divine nature and on the opposite end there is the demoniac. The divine nature is directly connected to the love of God, while the demoniac nature is associated with the aitheistic path. Ignorance is dangerous and knowledge is power, so you can not be guilty until you have been told. God brings people to the light gradually, especially when they take association with His pure devotees. This you have done. Now He is showing you the light and its your choice whether to accept it. He wants to show you just how real that He is and how your whole life can be healed via Bhakti.

The main difference between the Buddhists and the Vaishnavas is that the former rejects the existence of God. Now, Buddhism directly evolved out of Hinduism. And Hinduism sprouted from Vedic Religion. Its crucial to distinguish Hare Krsna from Hinduism, as they are not the same at all. Hare Krsna is actually Vedic religion, and it is the source of all religious principles that we find scattered everywhere today. Buddhism then gave rise to Christianity, and Judaism. Christianity split off into Catholicism and all of the innumerable Christian "denominations" that we see today. That includes Mormonism, Jehovah Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists. In all of these belief systems, we see traced of the Vedic Source. By analogy, The Vedas is the Sun, and all else that came from it are rays of the sun. That's why Vedic means "Absolute Truth." In fact, the whole concept of "God" that we see in all of these religions came directly from the Vedas. Without that information coming out of the Vedas none of these so-called "religions" would ever have that leg to stand on. They are all really false religions, in the sense that they are "corrupted" or incomplete versions of the Absolute Truth. They are certainly better than having no spiritual life at all, its just that none of them are "the highest." Make no mistake about it.

Sri Krsna has always been God ever since the beginning of all the universes. He is the origin of everything. All of the demigods reside within his eternal form. He is the origin of all incarnations. He is the Absolute Truth. My sister, when you open you heart and mind to the immortal and imperishable Dharma, then your life will never be the same. All of you material miseries will be washed away and all you will have no more problems at all! By receiving the light and the grace of the Divine Guruji, and letting the light move through each and every one of your chakras, you will certainly vanquish all darkness.

Buddhism in my view is extremely dangerous just like any other path that derides Lord Krsna. There are many stories about this, so please take my word for it sweetheart. Im living proof. Buddhists by definition are atheistic, and that is directly connected to the whole world of darkness. The Lord only incarnated as Lord Buddha to lead the atheistic minded bunch closer to Him and the devotees. To bring atheistic people to the point where they can accept something as God. And even though the Buddhists claim that they dont believe in God, they do basically regard Buddha as God. That is only natural for every human being, including the satanists who regard satan as god. We all have the innate proclivity as humans to see God as a person because that is the Truth. He is a person. Its just that he lives on another planet and that's where He is right now. But he is also everywhere at one time. When you begin to feel His spirit, you will cry and feel more purified then ever. Im sure you have felt it before. Thats why you keep seeking out Krsna and the devotees. SO now you know. Now you can become powerful as a Yogini. Another thing is that the Lord commands us in the Gita to "abandon all varieties of religion and surrender unto me." So while many people are misled into thinking that Hare Krsna is a "religion" it most certainly by definition is not. It is only the essence of yoga and the highest form of yogic practice. Although it is not a religion, it is the root of all "religious principle" that has over time and geography evolved into many different believe systems. The truth is that it all came from Krsna and he is the well of all power and energy.

Jai Shri Krishna,

"Peace" means - to become "mentally and physically quite", not to do
anything

WHEN we have relationship with an activity

THEN we have relationship with the World/Nature

WHEN there is relationship with the world

THEN there is unrest/lack of peace/sorrow/ Bondage

WHEN connection with world is continuous and unrest, lack of peace
increases

THEN a velocity to do karmas develops in you to remove the unrest,
get peace but again through world only

Thus a vicious circle forms. Your relationship with activity keeps
strenghthening.

WHEN you act with a "nishkaam bhaav" (desireless motive)

THEN velocity of doing karma in you starts getting eliminated

WHEN velocity is gone

THEN you get established in Equanimity

WHEN you get established in Equanimity

THEN peace generates in you

WHEN peace generates in you

THEN you have two options, to enjoy that peace or to renounce that
peace

WHEN you renounce that peace (that is don't get impacted by that
peace or don't enjoy (bhog) that peace

THEN you realise Paramatma (Gita 6:3)

So the process starts with nishkaam bhaav - which is effortless and
actionless !!

By "activity" in - equality arises. By "in-activity" , Equanmity
arises - without any efforts of any sort whatsoever.

Once you are equanimous, you are as good as Paramatma. You remain
separate from the world having no mental connection. No desires.
Only Duty. You are free, you are liberated, you are MAST (blissful).
You then attain permanent bliss - self proven, automatic,
activityless, prideless, egoless, PEACE .(Shaant Ras).

God does not concern himself with pain and sorrow arising due to worldly things, and God cannot bear the pain arising from real, honest pangs and hunger for sake of God. Under God¢s auspicious dispensation, whatever favourable (pleasure-giving) or unfavourable (painful) condition comes, it is only for our good. To be happy or unhappy is not the fruit of past acts, rather it is a fruit of stupidity. This folly can be wiped out by association with truth (Satsang). Like an ever greedy person, a spiritual aspirant should be eagerly wishing for the happiness of others. By doing so, he can rise above pleasure and pain. To make efforts to seek pleasure for one's self, is to invite pain, and to strive for others¢ happiness, is to invite bliss. For painful or pleasurable situations to present themselves, is the result of one¢s past acts, but to become happy or unhappy due to them, is the fruit of ignorance and foolishness. To wipe out the fruits of past actions, is not in our hands, but to eliminate foolishness is entirely in our hands. He who serves others under happy circumstances, and he who does not become unhappy in painful conditions, in other words, he who does not desire pleasures for himself, is easily liberated from worldly ties. Under the influence, attraction and attachment of nature-born pleasure, there is no end to the cycle of pain and pleasure. In reality, becoming happy in favourable circumstances, is the reason for becoming unhappy in unfavourable circumstances; because a condition-bound pleasure-seeker, can never escape pain and unhappiness. We are not attentive to attachment, attraction, fondness, passion, infatuation , that is taking place, but are more drawn towards the agitations of the mind. A very important aim regarding this issue is -

"Indriyasye indriyasyaarthe raag dveshau vyavasthitou. " (Gita 3:34)

Attachment inhabits in five places - Self, intellect, mind, senses and objects. Even in these five places, if we think more deeply and seriously, then we will come to the understanding that this attachment is situated in the "Self", and that same attachment in Self remains situated in all four (mind, intellect, senses, objects). If the attachment in the "Self" is wiped out, then we will attain supreme bliss. Even if the mind is volatile, but if we replace attachment to the world by devotion and love of God, then the business pertaining to attachment, will go out of business. Attraction for God, will put it to an end.

There is great uncommon glory and importance of devotion and love of God. If we say that it's glories are greater than that of Knowledge (Jnana) or Moksha (release from rebirth in this world), then it will not be an exaggeration. No essence can excel it. This love and devotion has immense transcendental greatness and ranks extremely high. There is nothing greater than this essential element. Love is even greater than knowledge. Nothing else compares and nothing else comes close to it. The love and devotion of God, will set everything right.

Now how to develop this love and devotion for God ?
Love and devotion for God awakens, by removing (puttimg aside) attachment from the world.

How to remove (put aside) attachment from this world ?
By having love and devotion for God.
One having love for God both things happen. Continually driving away of attachment and continually increasing love of God.

What should we do first?
First increase love for God. Just as when one is reciting the Ramayana paath, if mind is engaged and is understanding the meaning of the paath, then the mind is greatly purified. Attachment goes away. On listening to God's Divine stories with love, the attachment, within is removed on it own and love is awakened. Within is filled with juicy and extraordinary relish. In the beginning, man can become bored but when one starts tasting and relishing the nectar, there man does not get tired or bored. It is filled with this astonishing and extraordinary pleasure - Love. Try reading the Ramayana paath and see for yourself. Engage your mind in it. Read the stories of devotees. There is immense gains in reading devotee's stories, because it penetrates the devotee's heart. When love penetrates the devotee's heart, then attachment will vanish, desires will vansih. When attachment is gone, we will be greatly benefited. We will experience supreme
bliss. This can happen even through the process of inquiry (right thinking, contemplation) , but more useful than inquiry is love and devotion.

Religions are different roads converging to the same point. What
does it matter that we take different roads, so long as we reach
the same goal? In reality, there are as many religions as there are
individuals.

All faiths are a gift of God, but partake of human imperfection as
they pass through the medium of humanity. God-given religion is
beyond all speech. Imperfect men put it into such language as they
can command, and their words are interpreted by other men equally
imperfect.

Whose interpretation must be held to be the right one? Every one is
right from his own standpoint, but it is not impossible that every one
is wrong. Hence the necessity for tolerance, which does not mean
indifference towards one's own faith, but a more intelligent and
purer love for it.

Tolerance gives us spiritual insight, which is as far from fanaticism
as the north pole is from the south. True knowledge of religion breaks
down the barriers between faith and faith and gives rise to tolerance.
Cultivation of tolerance for other faiths will impart to us a truer
understanding of our own.

I have said I do not disbelieve in idol-worship. An idol does not
excite any feeling of veneration in me. But I think that idol-worship
is part of human nature. We hanker after symbolism.

I am both an idolater and an iconoclast in what I conceive to be the
true senses of the terms. I value the spirit behind idol worship. It
plays a most important part in the uplift of the human race. And I
would like to possess the ability to defend with my life the thousands
of holy temples which sanctify this land of ours.

I am an iconoclast in the sense that I break down the subtle form of
idolatry in the shape of fanaticism that refuses to see any virtue in
any other form of worshiping the Deity save one's own. This form of
idolatry is more deadly for being more fine and evasive than the
tangible and gross form of worship that identifies the Deity with a
little bit of a stone or a golden image.

Bitter experience has taught me that all temples are not houses of
God. They can be habitations of the devil. These places of worship
have no value unless the keeper is a good man of God. Temples,mosques,
churches are what man makes them to be.

Gita on Bhagwaan's (God's) Justice and Compassion (http://www.thisispk.org)

Wherever justice is enforced, there cannot be compassion and where compassion is carried out, there cannot be justice out there. This is because, wherever justice is carried out, according to the good and evil actions, one receives the equivalent rewards or punishments; and wherever there is compassion the evil doer's sinful acts are forgiven, whereby he is not given a punishment. The point here is that doing justice and having compassion are opposing and mutually inconsistent. They both cannot remain in one place at the same time. If this is the way it is, then how can Bhagwaan (God) be both just and compassionate ? This obstacle arises where the lawmaker is without a heart. The laws made by one who is compassionate, will be both impartial and filled with compassion. Any time justice is done by such a person, it will be filled with compassion, and any compassion felt by such a one, it will be righteous. Bhagwaan (God) is the
good-hearted affectionate friend of all beings - "Suhrdam sarvabhootaanaam, " (Gita 5:29); in other words the laws made by Him have both compassion and justice.

Bhagwaan (God) has said in the Gita, that whatever sentiments a man recollects and remembers when he leaves this mortal body, he attains the same sentiments. In other words, the last recollections and sentiments, determines his transmigration. (Gita 8:6). This is Bhagwaan's (God) justice, in which there is no favoritism. Even this fairness, is filled with Bhagwaan's compassion. Just as if, at the last breath, if someone remembers their dog, and he leaves the body with that thought as the last recollection, then he receives the birth of a dog. If one leaves remembering Bhagwaan (God), then He attains Bhagwaan (God). The amazing point is that the price (effort) by which a dog's life can be attained, is the same price (effort) as that of realizing God. In this manner, even though the laws of Bhagwaan have fairness and justice, they are also filled with great compassion.

The best of the best men with good conduct, that are engrossed in their spiritual practices, if they leave the mortal body while remembering Bhagwaan, at the final moment, then they will realize God. In the same way, even the vilest of vile sinners, due to some extraordinary reason, if at the last moment of their life, if they remember Bhagawan when leaving this body, they too will realize God. (Gita 8:5). There is so much compassion and justice in Bhagwaan !

Bhagwaan has said in the Gita, that the worst of worst sinner, if he turns towards Me, with a firm conviction and aim, and with exclusive sentiments, remembers Me, then he should be considered an ascetic. He will very quickly become a righteous person, and he will attain eternal peace (Gita 9:30-31). If the vilest of vile persons can also become a devotee of God, and can attain eternal peace, then a devotee of God could also become a worst sinner, an evil doer, and could lead to his downfall. But Bhagwaan's law is not like that. In His law, there is immense compassion. In his system of justice, the vilest of sinners can attain salvation, and on the other hand, His devotees never fall - "Name bhakta pranashyati" (Gita 9:31). In this there is Bhagwaan's immense justice and compassion. (to be continued)

How to Develop Everlasting Love and Devotion for God (http://www.thisispk.org)

What generally passes as Love is passion for things of this world or
person who is supposed to fulfill "me". This is called attachment in
which a predominant thought remains "what is in it for me or what
can I get from that person or thing"?

Ever-lasting Love is Unconditional, more like mother-child whose
Love is selfless, from one to another! It is give only on the part
of both. It is always Love, not love as opposed to hatred. It is
like a flower that gives fragrance to all including one who plucks
it. It is flower 100%, never anything else, unlike people who love
sometimes and hate other times depending on conditions being
favorable or otherwise.

To develop such unconditional Love, one needs to know that person or
things of this world cannot give such unconditional Love eternally,
it is not the nature of things or people, as they are ever changing
themselves.

Once the dependencies on anything and all things end, the mind of
such a person turns to itself meaning inward due to dispassion
(Vairagya) towards objects which cannot fulfill one completely. Now
the person finds him/her totally alone(not lonely). Devotion,
Surrender, Peace, unshaken Shraddha and Divine qualities are just
waiting there to drown such a one! Dispassion toward world is at the
same time Devotion to God flowering within the heart as that which
stands Alone as Love itself. Such devotion or Love makes one see God
everywhere and Love everyone alike and still not attached to them.

At this time, depending on the predominance of either Devotion and
Love, or selflessness or quest for Truth, one becomes the Bhakta of
Bhagwan-God, or Karma-Yogi who loves to act for humanity at large
which is God for him, or he/she becomes Self-realized Gyani who is
devoted totally to Truth! All are ONE in their essence on their
final ascend to Godhood.

Hare Krishna ! Dear Friends,

Just by mundane bookish knowledge , one can not become a "Vedic Astrologer" ( Jyothishi) and make correct predictions .Bhakti is beyond the reach of human logic and It depends on one's faith . Vedic Astrology is also like Bhakti . You have the option to believe it or not .

If one does not believe in Vedic astrology, he should ignore it and live according to own "Free will " based on analysis and reasoning .

Relevance of Vedic Astrology to the Vedic followers .

Bahagavan Krishna says to Uddhava in His parting discourse ( Bhagavatam 11.7.23) :

"Although I, the Supreme Lord, can never be captured by ordinary sense perception, those situated in human life may use their intelligence and other faculties of perception to directly search for Me through both apparent and indirectly ascertained symptoms."

A true "Daivajna" ( Vedic Jyothishi ) is the "Sadhak" ( spiritual practitioner) who can convey about Bhagavan's divine will to the devotee who has taken refuge in the Lord . Devotee's Bhakti and Daivajna's "Sadhana" are vital for the accuracy of the revelation .

Vedic astrology is not a mundane science . It is spiritual science rooted on scriptural injunctions and pure faith in Bhagavan .

Qualifications of a "Daivajna"

A person who has attained "Brahmanya" by his "sattvic" karma and sadhana , is qualified to learn Vedic Astrology . He should attain the following eight attributes to become a "Daivajna" :

Thorough knowledge in Vedic Astrology , obtained from a Sattvic Guru .
Skill in mathematical calculations .
Adherence to ethics , austerities and scriptural injunctions .
Obedience.
Honesty .
Humility .
Vedic knowledge.
Commitment to "Navagraha-puja" and "Ishta-deva" worship .

Any person without all the above attributes is not a "Daivajna" and his predictions are bound to be erratic . Therefore, Jyothish is not like a worldly science (learning which any one can it's exponent) .

Daivajna is one who has :

learned "Jyothish" from a Jyothish-Guru by fulfilling all related rules and regulations ,
attained "Mantopadesa" from Guru in an auspicious hour with all "vrithanushtanams" as mentioned in the sastras,
attained "Mantra-sidhi" by pleasing "Navagrahas" and "Ishta-deva" ( through Japa, Homa and other specified austerities) ,
attained working knowledge in the authorized "sastric books" written by Acharyas ,
and attained practical skills to logically link the divine symptoms and matters to make revelations .

Such a "Daivajna's" prediction will never be erratic . This was proved by Garga-muni while performing the "Namakarana- ceremony" of Baby Krishna . The recent Devaprasnam conducted at Guruvayoor temple in November 2007 , confirms the effectiveness of "Vedic Astrology" beyond doubt.

Misunderstandings and Facts .

The general discomfort with Vedic astrology is its fatalistic reputation amongst the spiritually illiterate general masses . Destiny can be changed to a large extent, and that is why Bhagvan gave us the power to discriminate and act our "Free will " .

Destiny is what is forecast as the most likely possibility of an event . "Free will" is the ability to exercise ones will to steer ones destiny in a direction which is more favorable or less harmful, compared to -if one chooses to do nothing . For eg : Laws of gravity can be compared to destiny . It is the destiny of a ball thrown in the air to fall down. But it is the "Free will" of man to stop the ball from falling to the ground , by catching it before it falls.

Another example : If the weather forecast says there is a 99% chance its going to rain on a particular day, and if we absolutely have to go to work that day, then wearing a rain coat and carrying an umbrella will prevent us from getting soaked, though we may definitely still get a few sprinkles , nevertheless. Choosing to take an umbrella and a rain coat is "Free will " . It prevented the destiny of getting drenched , getting sick and so on.

It is here that we see the role of "Jyotisha" as a medium for Bhagavan to guide His Devotee's activities at crucial times .
