So this weekend we headed up to lovely Newcastle to see Shweta for her birthday. I was full of a cold on Friday but gradually I have recovered. I have recently just joined a book group in Stoke Newington and for my second book with them we were reading this. I missed the discussion but thought that the book was amazing. Strange and bizarre with lots of magic. However it also felt much more real than Pulman's Oxford and somehow I felt like I got a lot more from it. So last night Richard, Stefan, Marco and I went to the Arcola theatre to see the lady from the sea.
