The event which is in its 24th successful<br>year is the city&#39;s biggest steam show. There are host of attractions<br>including puffing steam Engines, fairground organs, army displays, classic<br>cars and motorcycles, vintage Tractors and displays for people to visit.<br>Visitors will enjoy browsing around the trade stands and craft and fine food<br>tents with a wealth of gifts and delicacies to taste, buy and take home to<br>try. Families will enjoy the thrills and spills in the main area including<br>birds of prey from Ridgeside Falconry - the largest falconry display team in<br>the country. Kids will love the jam-packed entertainment on offer including<br>a children&#39;s corner, funfair, bouncy castle, punch and judy, laser paintball<br>arena, trampolines, quad bikes and a climbing wall. One performance which is<br>sure to wow the crowds are the Royal Artillery Flying Gunners Motorcycle<br>Display Team. Speed, excitement, showmanship and professionalism are the<br>hallmarks of the Flying Gunners who perform breathtaking stunts crossing in<br>mid air just inches apart at up to 90mph as well as carrying out amazing<br>feats of balance on their motorcycles including forming a giant pyramid<br>formation. The grand finale of the show is a spectacular car jump where a<br>daring rider will ride his machine leaping over at least four cars. All the<br>riders in the team are fully trained gunners and have appeared on television<br>shows including the National Lottery Show, Noel Edmond&#39;s House Party, Lenny<br>Henry Show, Blue Peter and the Brian Conley Show. Gates for the Leeds Steam<br>Spectacular open at 10am and events continue until 5pm each day.
