Soon. Really soon. They say it will appear on the shelves in May or June. One thing is for sure, the closer it came more rumors surround it.

Like this: according to BusinessWeek for the cost of production is $ 138 pre which is lower than the road from the $ 174 iPhone or a BlackBerry Bold for $ 169.

Happens next is in the Pre Rumorlandia's Mom and Dad is expecting his little brother later this year. We recognize the voice has not been proved correct, because even the original pre-release is still waiting for the date. It is suspected that the mini version of Pre (shall we say Mini-Pre?) Will be targeted at other markets.

Suspected, the Pre-Mini will also be running new WebOS but not clear whether there will be a hardware button.
Until then, we will continue to wait for the day of the GSM-version of the Palm Pre become available.

By the way, you can be among the first to get one. You only need a little more luck and skill since reviewers are looking for Palm Palm Real reviewer. The pink Renoir clearly targeted to women, but the answer is that the actual update KC910i model presented in this MWC in February 2009.

Functional KC910i LG Renoir is not too different from the original Renoir, which we reviewed not too long ago. The only major difference is that KC910i come with support for Push Email via Wi-Fi, short of the original Renoir.

Initially, the LG Renoir announced KC910i in black only. S-Class UI, 8 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS await you at only 12mm thin body.

LG Viewty has been a popular end to jump in with the next generation. Previously only known as the LG Viewty 2, the device now cunningly called LG Viewty Smart.

LG Viewty is a new Smart packaging 3-inch capacitive touch-screen with WVGA resolution, an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and D1 video recording, accelerometer, 3G support, Wi-Fi and GPS. This walk on the new S-Class 3D user interface and most probably will have a multi-touch function. Dolby Mobile technology, along with DivX / XviD support is also on board.

It's business as usual for the LG showcased the LG Viewty Smart on the back glass in the MWC in 2009, but it does not really bother to reveal any more details about this case. Instead they focus on the LG Arena.

As you can see the similarity with the LG Arena is quite clear, except for better camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optics and a lack of storage. Unfortunately rumored xenon flash is not present, not the Smart Viewty has one LED. As KM900 Arena, the GC900 Smart Viewty only 12mm thin, but the small weight - 90 grams.

BlackBerry Curve 8900

<img style="display:block; They are both running on the latest TouchWiz UI and have large touch screen displays but only midrange feature sets.

Samsung S5600 has already leaked some fifteen days ago with several photos and basic information. It is aimed at the style but budget conscious users with its relatively slim and compact design.

S5600 boasts a 2.8" 16M TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels resolution, which takes advantage of the built-in accelerometer sensor. On its back it features 3.2 MP camera with LED flash that comes with smile detection.

The midrange S5600 is quad-band GSM/EDGE that also offers fast data transfers via dual-band HSDPA 7.2 Mbps. Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP and USB v2.0 are on board; sadly there is no Wi-Fi here. Samsung S5600 has only 80MB of built-in memory, but it's expandable via microSD card slot.

Samsung S5600 is expected to hit the European market in May 2009, but there is no word on its price.

Samsung are pioneering the Gesture Lock feature on both the S5600 and S5230. It enables users to simultaneously unlock the phone and open a menu item just by drawing an alphabet letter on the unlock screen. Users can assign various actions to any of the alphabet letters from A to Z.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 218px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_S75uo-2cS2E/SbsE6Mbz0kI/AAAAAAAAAi8/Uc-JMEPnxqk/s320/Samsung+S5230.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5312845583230423618" />
Samsung S5230

Samsung S5230 is even more impressive from the S5230, because it is only 11.9mm thin but sports a larger 3" 256K TFT display with WQVGA (240 x 400 pixels) resolution.

Unfortunately, the added features come at the expense of 3G networking. The Samsung S5230 is GPRS/EDGE-only. That makes it a direct competitor to the popular LG Cookie.

HTC Magic coming to Vodafone as soon as this April

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 235px; height: 294px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_S75uo-2cS2E/SbCX7hD5D8I/AAAAAAAAAik/i1v8zKW65gI/s320/HTC+Magic.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5309911009412583362" />It's known under many names - HTC Sapphire, HTC Magic, even the G2. Android's second coming is going to be in April when the HTC Magic will be available through Vodafone.

The official announcement of the HTC Magic was only this February and it's already set to launch in April.

There have been a lot of rumors floating around the Internet regarding a successor to the T-Mobile G1 - and a lot of them turned out to be false. There are also photos of a T-Mobile branded Magic, though there's nothing official just yet. Chances are that it will be sold in the US as the T-Mobile G2, but Vodafone will retain exclusivity over the Android device on the Old Continent.

The HTC Magic is very similar to the HTC Dream, the most obvious difference being the lack of hardware keyboard. This means less weight - the HTC Magic has shed a good 40 grams, and it's thinner too. Other, less obvious but welcome changes, are the improved battery life (just over two hours of talk time more), twice the ROM (it's now 512 MB) and an extra HSDPA band (900 in addition to 2100). The pricing of the new Vodafone HTC Magic is not yet announced.

Sony Ericsson reveal C510

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 252px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_S75uo-2cS2E/SWhVsUnZ-uI/AAAAAAAAAgk/hW0f12nVK88/s320/Sony+Ericsson+C510.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289571982283242210" />The new Sony Ericsson C510 is dubbed as the most affordable Cyber-shot to date - it has a 3 megapixel camera, imaging shortcuts and Face detection plus Smile Shutter. The Sony Ericsson C905 is also getting the Smile Shutter treatment via a software update that should be available somewhere in February 2009. A new color version for the 8 megapixel C905 is also made available for the ladies.

The Sony Ericsson C510 Cyber-shot has a 2.2-inch QVGA scratch-resistant display, quad-band GSM support plus tri-band UMTS/HSPA connectivity. On board there's an accelerometer for auto screen rotation and motion gaming plus an M2 memory card slot and stereo Bluetooth. Threaded SMS/MMS (conversation style messaging) is among the latest Sony Ericsson features that's also on board the C510. The C510 metallic-looking body has a 12.5mm of thickness and the sliding camera cover makes a bold statement about its imaging capabilities.

Meant as an affordable cameraphone, the Sony Ericsson C510 has a 3 megapixel auto focus camera with Face detection and Smile shutter. There's no xenon flash as you might have guessed it (only a LED one) and you can get geotagging but only by cell triangulation, as there's no actual GPS receiver in there.

The Sony Ericsson C510 Cyber-shot will be available Q1 2009 in Future Black and Radiation Silver.

Sony Ericsson to offer unlimited music downloads dubbed PlayNow plus

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_S75uo-2cS2E/SNpopz-xAVI/AAAAAAAAAWM/noqMiJO2t2k/s320/Sony+Ericsson+W902+Walkman.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5249623383191126354" />Sony Ericsson finally respond to the Nokia comes with music download unlimited music and will launch its own PlayNow service further in Q4 2008.

For some of the "all-you-can-eat" music festival must create a customer of the company Telenor in Sweden - and if it is not an agreement breaker, we are not really sure what it is. Of course, airlines and more countries will follow, but not before 2009.

The first device to be more PlayNow enabled Sony Ericsson W902 Walkman. As part of the agreement, the handset is loaded with 1,000 of the more recent popular music tracks. And if this is not enough, you can online via their mobile phone and view and download unlimited amount of music you want.

All downloaded music can be played on the PC, too. But best of all, at the end of the contract to get the most played track on your playlist completely free of DRM, which means you can hear this music on any device out there.

Frankly, from where we are, the whole deal seems too good to be true. In fact it's more of a "meet the Adidas phone (btw it's by Samsung)". The new Adidas phone is part of Adidas brand new miCoach system. It's a web-based progress report and analysis tool for your sport endeavors (running in particular). And this new system takes its data from nowhere else but the Adidas phone in question thanks to a couple of Adidas sensors.

But since we are a mobile phones website first and foremost, let us start with the mobile phone in this story. The Adidas miCoach phone (or otherwise known as Samsung F110) is a slider with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support. It's also a fully fledged music player with a stereo FM radio - pure Samsung's style. There's 1GB of storage space for your music - not that much really, and there is no word on memory card slot availability. The feature list finishes off with the 262K color TFT display with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels and the 2 megapixel camera.

Yes, we know it doesn't have any high-end features, but then again it's way better than your average music player, which you might be taking with you on your track days. The most unique about the Adidas miCoach phone is that it's in the center of an integrated sports tracking system that might just leave you breathless (pun intended).

So what else is there to it? Well, for starters you also get the Adidas Heart Rate Monitor - that's a belt that monitors your heart beat straight on your chest. Well, don't know if it's just us, but we would rather prefer a wrist band than a sweaty chest one.

Secondly, you also get the new Adidas Stride Sensor. It clips to your running shoe's laces and off you go to count those winning meters. With the Samsung Adidas miCoach phone featuring a built-in accelerometer, which otherwise serves as a pedometer, that Stride Senor might be just too much - but we are no sports specialists either.

The information from the two sensors is synced automatically to the Adidas phone and it can give you real-time voice guidance during workouts based on that. The phone also encourages users with music tailored to the workout. Also thanks to the built-in accelerometer in the Adidas phone, a double-tap on the phone will read out you're your current run stats including time, distance, pace, calories, stride, and heart rate.

When you get back home you simply sync it with the miCoach website to update your progress and create training programs tailored to your goals - be it simply losing some weight, building up athletic stamina or whatever.

All-in-all we dig the idea of a totally sports-oriented handset. Adidas and Samsung are obviously trying to outrun (pun intended again!) the competition in the face of the Nike+ system by throwing a mobile phone to the equation. The new Adidas/Samsung joint venture sounds interesting enough but some of us wouldn't mind passing on this one when it comes to reviewing it - there are little things a devoted person wouldn't do for the job these days and obviously running like mad is among them. Gracias senor, but some prefer miCouch instead of miCoach.

The miCoach system will be available in two packages: the Standard one (miCoach phone, armband, stride sensor and HRM) or the Essential package (miCoach phone and armband only). You better start preparing as the miCoach system will hit Adidas and Samsung stores as well as select retail partners in Europe starting in mid-March 2008.

Sony Ericsson T303

Sony Ericsson today revealed T303, a new mid-end compact slider phone targeted to the mass market with its good looks and price. A serious downside however is that the T303 doesn't have a memory card slot, while its internal memory is only 8MB.

Sony Ericsson T303 measures 83 x 47 x 14.7 mm and weighs 93 grams and will be available in Shimmering Silver and Shadow Black colors.

Sony Ericsson T303/T303c is a tri-band GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 phone for Europe and China respectively but there is also an American version T303a with GSM/GPRS 850/1800/1900 bands support.

A certain point of interest is that the Sony Ericsson T303 follows the new Sony Ericsson naming convention that we informed you of earlier.

Sony Ericsson T303 will be available is selected markets from mid 2008.

Samsung G400 Soul

Seems like the CeBIT 2008 has got things running as Samsung announced their new Samsung G400 mobile - part of what seems to be now Soul family. The Samsung G400 Soul comes in the clamshell form factor (you've guessed it), and boasts a unique dual screen setup.<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_S75uo-2cS2E/R812ybCt7bI/AAAAAAAAAUs/tNhzPI7waa8/s320/samsung-g400-soul-clamshell.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5173922155543260594" />The Samsung G400 Soul has a high-gloss brushed metal finish and a rich touch-centric user interface. The unique about the Samsung G400 Soul is that it has two identical displays - a 2.22-inch 262K color one on the outside, and a 2.22-inch 262K color one on the inside. The external display is fully touch-operated and gives access to multimedia features such as FM radio, music player, camera, and photos. It also displays the phone's system notifications. The external display also provides haptic feedback with short vibrations when touched. Pity enough, we don't have an image of the display actually working at this stage.

The Samsung G400 Soul is also equipped with a 5 megapixel autofocus camera that comes with advanced features such as face recognition, the widely advertised Samsung's Wide Dynamic Range optimization and image stabilization.

As far as connectivity is concerned, the G400 has fast 7.2Mbps HSDPA support with video calls, Bluetooth, and USB. A microSD memory card slot is also there to fill in.

Somehow we couldn't help but think that the G400 was meant to be announced along with the G900 Soul in Barcelona as Samsung used to do with their two previous Ultra lineups, but obviously the company has decided to keep thinks on focus and concentrate their marketing efforts on one product at a time.

The Samsung G400 Soul will be available in Europe from June.

Nokia 6650 and Nokia 6124 Classic Announced

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_S75uo-2cS2E/R810lLCt7ZI/AAAAAAAAAUc/Ti2l3KXX_k0/s320/nokia+6650.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5173919728886738322" />Nokia is obviously running out of numbers. That became clear with the announcement of their spanking new Nokia 6650 at the CeBIT 2008. The thing is that there is already another Nokia 6650 - one of the first 3G phones ever to come to life. The original Nokia 6650 was also presented at CeBIT but way back in 2003. The other Nokia announced at the CeBIT 2008 is the Nokia 6124 classic which will be available exclusively for Vodafone.

The new Nokia 6650 is a stylish clamshell reminiscent of the Nokia 6555. It will be offered exclusively for T-Mobile customers - hence the logo on its front panel.

The Nokia 6650 is HSDPA-enabled and will offer full support for the T-Mobile exclusive services such as the web'n'walk internet service, the My Faves group calls service, and the Mobile Jukebox music service. A premium feature is the integrated GPS receiver, which thanks to the Assisted GPS service support will be able to provide quick positioning.

Armed with a 2.2-inch 16M color TFT display, the Nokia 6650 also offers a 2 megapixel camera with LED flash and 30 MB of internal memory. The list of features comes complete with a microSD card slot, FM radio and Bluetooth.

Design-wise the Nokia 6650 also packs a punch with the brushed stainless-steel finish reminding of the Nokia 6500 slide.

The Nokia 6650 will be available via T-Mobile's networks throughout Europe in Q3 2008 at a heavily subsidized price. In Germany for example, the Nokia 6650 will retail for just EUR 1 with the Relax 100 rate.

The second handset announced by Nokia is the Vodafone-exclusive Nokia 6124 classic.<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_S75uo-2cS2E/R8103rCt7aI/AAAAAAAAAUk/XTty4oPRsE8/s320/nokia+6124+classic.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5173920046714318242" />

3G enabled and as smart as Symbian smartphones get, the Nokia 6124 classic has a 2-inch display, a 2 megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot. The Nokia 6124 classic is a Vodafone version of the original Nokia 6120 classic much the same way the Nokia 6233 has its twin in the face of the Nokia 6234.

But can we just say that the new design breathes life in the otherwise capable and compact Nokia 6120 classic - what a welcome change.

The Nokia 6124 classic will start shipping in Vodafone markets in Q2 2008.

Samsung i560

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_S75uo-2cS2E/R8j-S889ASI/AAAAAAAAAUE/x6jIX8sf8Z8/s320/Samsung+i560.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5172663773587898658" />

There are pretty few smartphones among the handsets made by Samsung, and even fewer of them are based on Symbian S60 OS/UI.

All rights to this User Interface software belong to Nokia, so it’s really hard for Samsung (and others) to come up with something their main rival hadn’t thought of yet.

Frankly speaking, until recently the Korean handset maker didn’t have any Symbian smartphones worth a look and the ones it had, didn’t have much appeal.

However this fall, Samsung introduced two interesting new smartphones: Samsung SGH-i550 and Samsung SGH- i560 models.

Among these two, i550 is in a better position to succeed in the market as a standalone model, due to its unusual navigation/control device (a trackball) and an overall better look. And especially now that Samsung i550w got it’s own Wi-Fi.

The prospects of the SGH-i550 ain’t that bright- it just doesn’t have that one thing that should sell it. And built-in GPS definitely is not it.

With the tentative price of 350 euro, Samsung i560 can hardly hope for any commercial success of this model; unless it can convince mobile operators to give an additional push for this handset.
