On November 26 2007 I gave birth to a little Girl! I consider myself a lucky girl! I now have my pair. Her name is Summer. Yes, Yes, Yes as in the season. So far so good, she eats very well and is very cute.Today is my little boys birthday! he turned three. For those mommies who have a three year old boy, you can imagine what Im going through. Forget about terrible twos. We have moved onto... "Horrific threes."

THURSDAY, August 2 (BabyCenter News) — Fisher-Price, owned by toy company Mattel, has announced a recall of nearly 1 million Sesame Street, Dora, Diego, and other children's toys in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Surface paints on the recalled products contain lead, which is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause serious health effects. The recall comes on the heels of an identical problem with 1.5 million Thomas the Tank Engine toys announced in June. Those, too, were decorated with paints found to contain lead.

The recalled Fisher-Price toys were manufactured between April 19, 2007, and July 6, 2007. All are marked with the name "Fisher-Price" and some are marked with a date code between 109-7LF and 187-7LF (on the toy itself or its packaging). The toys were sold alone or as part of sets, and include such well-known characters as Elmo, Cookie Monster, Dora, and Diego. The model names and product numbers are listed below.

The recalled toys were sold at retail stores nationwide from May 2007 through August 2007 for between $5 and $40 apiece. They were made in China.

It doesn't make sense! We as parents sterilize our baby's bottles for the first six months of their life, and then we take them to restaurants only to eat finger foods right off of a dirty table. Why, because most high chairs have no trays, and babies love to throw their plates onto the floor. Now there is a solution. Baby Energy Placemats!

Ladies we must recognize our men for the great job they do each and everyday. The simple tasks that a woman endures come so natural to us as a mother. However as a father, & a man they seem to sometimes stuggle.
So... My hat goes off to all the Daddies(experienced and non) who have to change diapers, wake up for feedings,wake up for sporting practice, learn to deal with tantrums and still working in the real world each and everyday.

For all you moms out there...Recently a major store that we are all to familar with, has just pulled their most popular bibs off the shelves. These bibs made by Hamco Inc, have been tested and proven to have lead in them.
I personally have purchased these for my son dated back to two years ago becuase of the adorable Sesame Street characters painted on them . Please be aware of what consumer products go on your your precious child.
