Well, a picture says a thousand words. This picture is of a battery that was part of a system on a horse trailer that we replaced. We don't know what started the fire, but the owner is darn lucky his battery bank of 6 golf-cart batteries didn't blow up in his face. This one caught fire, which the owner put out with a fire extinguisher. The other 5 batteries wouldn't hold a charge after this
