OK, Free Wi-Fi is probably not the first thing that comes to people's minds when thinking about things to be thankful for but it might make the Top 10 for some people.

Traffic on the Wi-Fi-FreeSpot Directory web site always increases before a Holiday. Lots of folks need to find a place to get online when they're visiting friends and family.

I know I'm thankful for all the folks who send me e-mails telling me about new locations to add to the Directory. I consistently add at least 50 new locations every week.

Here in the USA, library systems, both big and small, continue to add Free Wi-Fi to the list of valuable services they provide to their communities and visitors. Beauregard Parish, Louisiana, Montgomery County, Maryland and the Sno-Isle Community Libraries of Island and Snohomish Counties, Washington are recent additions.

I've just heard that many Staples stores in Illinois are offering Free Wi-Fi on a test basis. Check out the Illinois page for locations.

If you're planning a Winter vacation check out the Vacation Rentals with Free Wi-Fi page. Just like Hotels and Motels are adding Free Wi-Fi as an amenity many condo and home owners are offering it too.

Jimhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16382148625026063695noreply@blogger.com
